Thanks for watching!
Thanks!!!
Thank you
Great vid lol made me want to watch more oddly
I need one real badly
I think I'll try that Eagle brand. My Black and Decker doesn't seem to work for dung.
Black and decker is a shit brand
Looks like fun. Let me play with it. 😂
Hello, so since I already bought an EGO Trimer unless I buy the multitool, the Edger won't fit the trimmer?
Correct
did u get one chut?
@@randomrazr I already purchased the trimmer, so I am not going to buy another trimmer to just to fit the multi tool, but I did get the multi tool for other tools. :)
Thank you sir...
If money wasn't an issue, battery powered or cord version?
Battery Powered for sure. It's going to give you more freedom around the property and it's safer. The EGO option in the video is great because the EGO Powerhead allows you to snap on other ends like a pole saw, hedge trimmer, etc. Hope that helps!
@@AceHardware it does a lot! Thank you very much.
Get gas
Works better pulling backwards...😊
do you ever need to replace the blade? Does it dull?
Yes you do replace the blade
@@briantrzebiatowski7873 thx!
What if it accidentally touches the curb or concrete? maybe wire blade would be safer?
i am thinking getting one of these.
Hi There,
Touching the curb or concrete may happen especially if there is a lot of overgrowth there. You'll likely see sparks when the blade hits the concrete. When you see sparks, adjust your distance to be closer to the sod. The blade is thick and designed to handle that kind of impact, but run the edger slowly with care. Hope this helps!
Buy one if you have not already ! You will have no regret
Is it wrong for me to put the wheel on the grass side and make my edge to the pavement?
Hi There,
You can do that but the edger may jump around a bit. If the grassy area is not flat you may get a jagged look when completed.
It's not designed to be used that way. Wheel on pavement, blade and guard facing grass. It's an awkward tool for sure, but you can get used to it, and it's easier once the edges are established and not overgrown.
Are you edging before you mow?
Personal preference. I find, though, if you edge after mowing or flat trimming the area, the finished product is much sharper.
Sucks that the multi-head line aren't brushless. Read the specs not the picture
Can this be use for cut weeds on landscape rocks?
This could scratch the landscape rocks. We suggest spray or pulling weeds in those areas.
Or use weed trimmer?
@@xianli6488 Yes a string trimmer.
Flip and use your line trimmer, it makes crispier lines and does less damage to your concrete if any.
I'd love to use an edger, unfortunately roots are everywhere.
What happens when the spinning blade hits the concrete? Does it damage the concrete?
It will not cause physical damage to the concrete but it will cause emotional damage.
@@ArgonNoblecouldnt have said it better
That's why I'm here
It causes a lot of damage to the concrete
Jesus Christ died for all of our sins. He died the death we all deserved. He was the perfect one who never sinned once, but he loved us so much he decided to die for us so our sins would be paid for and we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven before God the Father blamelessly. He is the living son of God who wants to know us and have a personal relationship with us. No matter what you have done no matter how far gone you think you are Jesus can and will save you. All you have to do is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. Believe that he died on the cross for your sins and had a bodily resurrection 3 days later. We cannot be saved by our works but by faith in Christ alone. Repent and turn to Christ. You will have joy, happiness, love, and peace beyond understanding.
Yes, I can confirm that Jesus Christ can be an active participant in your life, as I've personally experienced him. It was a beautiful, and for me surprising realization.
... But did Jesus edge his lawn? IDK man... 😇
What happens when you hit a rock?
It can damage the blade or may move at a high speed. Be careful!
Whoever was trimming that light post must have been drunk or seasick.
Yeah that's it, but you skipped the part were you had to uproot all that grass....lol
My edger just stops as soon as it hits dirt
Is the soil dry? You may want to try it again after a rainfall.
Everytime I've ever bought anything battery powered for the yard, it's been crap right out of the box.
I bought the Milwaukee M18 trimmer/edger and the thing is a serious heavy duty tool. I actually think it's better than gas in performance, and far better than gas in ear of use.
*ease
Ego outdoes some of our gas equipment. Although sometimes we need the bigger batteries which are costly. They also automatically adjust power output on things like their mowers and weed eaters
looks like a dangerous tool, only for somebody who has steady hands., or you will damage your sidewalk concrete
Used mine total of 5x and died. Egos customer service sucks.
Can you explain the sparks? Normal process but why?
If the area you are edging has a thick overgrowth of grass between the yard and the sidewalk/driveway, getting in there with the blade is tight and sparks can occur when the blade hits the pavement. Hope this helps! Happy edging. :)
@@AceHardware but when the blade does hit the pavement, does it do any harm such as chipping it?
Have you ever seen what happens when metal strikes across stone at the right speed and angle? There's stone aggregate in concrete.
If you lower the spinning blade slowly to the edge of the concrete/ pavement it may spark a bit from the friction until you find the groove between it and the lawn, but there should be no visible damage to surfaces, unless the surface was already in need of repair, or unless the operator is being careless. Be wise and safe out there.
Thank you
You're welcome! Hope it was helpful!
