Thanks for the video! I have ankylosing spondolitis and there is not many videos on this topic. Can you do a "what not to do video" for certain conditions? These can cause flare ups for spondolitis, skip these if you have knee problems etc. So we can fine tune to our needs even within regular videos or other workouts?

I had so much pain the last month and a half when I'm lying down, that I don't sleep more than 3 hours in a row during the night, and sometimes not much more. I did this sessions yesterday and I slept the all night without nearly any pain! Thank you!!! If you could propose a sessions for pregnancy with ankylosing spondylitis, it would be amazing!

I'm 18w and last 3 days have become even worse. I feel it up higher in my spine now and hurts to exhale so I am worried it has recently progressed into my thoracic and chest 😢 I will try this now as I just woke and before bed. Glad to hear it helped you.
Yes right. All these yoga are very helpful in Ankylosing Spondylitis & Stenosis. I have AS from 9 years. I have stenosis from 2 years. Now I am pain free. I am doing all these yoga which you are doing. Really these are very helpful. Thank you 😊

Hey, I am in a similar boat as u were Just got diagnosed with AS Don’t really know anyone with AS too who I can talk to i feel if there is a community we all can help each other and be better together I don’t really know what to expect tbh But some videos on YT does not show a very rosy picture But using yoga nd this session as my guidance so I am thankful for this.
The stretch with the leg crossed, twisting to the side was a great relief for both my damaged hips and SI joints(I used a bit of head twist towards the opposite side for extra spine stretch) . Great way to warm up my body before getting out of bed. Thanks 👌🏼

I believe I am suffering from AS secondary to an autoimmune condition. I just did this and I cannot believe the difference I feel in my lower back. Thank you... I am new to yoga, so I have a few questions, 1. can this exercise be done daily and/combined with other exercises such as your pelvic floor exercise? Should rotate the different exercises from day to day?
Glad you enjoyed the workout until your sneeze. It's hard time time it but sometimes if you can find something to put your hands on to support your upper body if a sneeze is coming can help with the pressure. Keep up the good work!

I could not do a few of the exercises as my right knee has arthritis, inflammation and I have received steroid injection but still very painful. So I cannot do much movement with my right knee. This is a great class for back pain or tightness or if you are looking for gentle mobility moves and an overall stretch. Ankylosing spondylitis is an inflammatory disease that over time can cause the bones in your spine to fuse making you feel stiff and tight among other things.
Yep. I’d recommend not neglecting it as it can worsen when the joints fuse with each other. The fusion generally happens later on but you want to try and avoid it by staying fit where possible. I have neglected my AS and am now paying the consequences with constant pain day in day out. Good luck, hopefully you can maintain it cos it’s not fun at all :)
Yes, I also got diagnosed 2 years ago, I was 19. Basically the doc told me the only thing I can do is to prevent it from getting worse, and swimming is the only proven one to help, I swam almost everyday for 2 years and it helps a lot. I feel no pain at all except when waking up but it's just the bed is too soft for me, anyway Im trying to do yoga instead of swimming since it's more practical, I also saw youtube channel where the creator told us about yoga for AS too, and it worked for him for decades... so just keep moving and prevent staying in the same position (sitting/lying in bed) for too long, good luck bro.
Dont be pesimistic, I have AS for 3 yrs now, but in general, it can get worse/stay the same or get better. Lots of people manage it by staying active+not overdoing it.. It is a slow progress disease, so dont panic if you are now overwhelmed with the info.. u have plenty time finding what works for you! ❤
I have been having AS since last 12 years. Guys one think I have done wrong n increased my flare is letting other people play with your emotions. Being emotionally healthy is very important for AS . Else your body il loose its ability to heal itself.

I hope more of these restorative lessons become available. Regular restorative yoga flows don't seem to do the trick with AS

I have trouble putting my left knee over my right leg.I can put my right over the left by not vice versa. How can I modify ?
A way to modify this one would be laying on your back and having feet mat distance apart and letting your legs rock from side to side.
