If you are able to retire to melb, you will never feel like you have to travel overseas ever again. The whole world comes to melb, they bring their food and culture to melb. Thank you for coming.
I loved travelling using the Lonely Planet to navigate and find nice places to visit and I did use them back in 2009 on our Australian roadtrip :). Of course now we have your video's to give inspiration!
You're giving us far too much credit putting us on a pedestal with Lonely Planet 🙃 So true though, there was something quite nice about having a physical book with us to read and compare
Quintessential Melbourne hotspots and as a regular subscriber, I'm stoked that you guys posted another video about this foodie state. I'm curious to know which other places your destined to try out and in what towns as well. I recommend places like Williamstown, Spotswood, Yarraville, Footscray, Northcote etc. Keep up the awesome videos!
Harriet and I have been to Melbourne many times having a cousin who lives there. It is a foodie heaven. You do have to watch your waistline. The WoW factor is alive and well. Hope you guys and your darling Nalu are doing ok. Sending you much love❤❤ from our current location, the Madeira Islands, Portugal. Harriet, Jim and Yuki
I can recommend biang biang noodles on Elizabeth St best noodles in Melbourne. Also Tokyo lamington in Carlton. Also checkout industry beans off Brunswick St for a blueberry iced matcha 🍵
Speaking about melting pots, when are you coming to Canada? Toronto. Montreal. Vancouver. Quebec city. For the time that I have been watching your blogs, I don't recall you ever visiting Canada.
You're right, we've not been to Canada - we were looking at Christmas with some friends from there, but it's just such an expensive time to travel. We'll get there eventually!
Ah yes, my home city. Melbourne's glory days were from about 2005 to late 2019. The night life was pumping. I was a bouncer for 7 years from when I was 19. Mostly in the inner east and CBD. Unfortunately, Melbourne will never be great again. The communist monkeys running the country have drilled it right into the ground. Over the next 12 months, the service industry will be decimated. I hope you legends enjoyed it while you could.
So many people leave Melbourne. Principal reasons are that the economy is growing, but career options are not as good as Sydney. Too many migrants, changing the culture. Housing Costs are just too high. Food inflation, especially in central locations. Its at the end of the earth, so you will have to travel long distances to visit friends and family. If the green protesters halt airline travel, it will take you 8 weeks to reach Europe.

You are 100% correct.
The service industry is suffering everywhere, not just Melbourne. Running and labour costs way too high to have a viable business.
Board the cattle truck
Lure us in with food then
What's wrong NZ it's got more scenery packed into two small islands than Australia.
Tut tut. I guess that is why so many of you are over here. You're welcome though.
Nothing wrong with NZ at all, we love it! But the food in Melbourne is on another level
So many people leave Melbourne. Principal reasons are that the economy is growing, but career options are not as good as Sydney.

You are eating this cheap and unhealthy foods.
And they’re delicious! Plus, exercise and a balanced diet means we’re good thanks

Any suggestions for cheaper eats? We'd love to check them out, but that's not so much an option these days
