My humble feedback: This little video is one of the better short films, so consider that I liked this video and the next part, just nitpicking and ideas which could make the short better. I know this is a short and not a feature, with limited time and resources, and again this is the better ones.
Colors wise I like the look, and I couldn't see anything wrong with it. Anyone with an eye can see the magic of film and all the work involved.
Blocking: In terms of lateral movement, the first running scene would be better if it were recorded from left to right rather than right to left. The second running scene with the yellow character could be staged in a way that makes it clear to the viewer that they are running toward each other, and also show that they are hiding in the same building. Maybe he could’ve run from the right to the left in the beginning etc.
Camera: On the other hand some camera angles are a bit out of place and not in the right perspective. It seems like the director may be unsure about which focal length to choose and when to use it. It's difficult to give advice on this because it takes experience, which you can learn from this short video. You need to know where the actor is looking and will be looking and adjust the camera angles accordingly. Try to be as close to the actor as possible helps to see their POV. Just to give you an example the shots from 0:36 to 0:47 works great, but less so at 0:50 because you don’t need to pan since the actor is already looking at that direction.
At 1:04 the yellow actor was looking down too much and it would have been enough if he had only looked down a little at the cigeretta. Similarly, at 1:09, it would have been sufficient if he had gently looked at the window instead of moving his whole head. At 1:10, it would have been more logical if the yellow guy hid next to the jacket guy by the wall, rather than the position he took by the washing machine. The 1:10 window shot could be filmed from the right wall, showing the jacket guy’s perspective, or from the left and below the window, from the yellow guy’s point of view. These are gentle, but noticable, especially in films since the audience is glued to the screen.
Sound: There should be some low pass EQ filter applied to the fooley sounds to avoid having a “next to the sound” feel and generally should be in momo. ADR could be improved if the actor replicated the movements in the shot. The panned ADR with the spatial effects works great. Some sounds effects, like the woosh sounds are a bit forced.
I liked the short film and would rate it 7/10.
