@@Gumpinn the only thing I'm really wondering is what engine will be used. Will it be more like ACC? If it is I wouldn't complain because I dream of driving prototypes and LMPs on the ACC engine. As long as the engine and graphics hold....I don't see how they could mess this up.

its a nice asset, rbr feels dated, dirt rally 2.0 visuals are a bit too shiny (and thats a shame because its an awesome title). I like the raw aspect of assetto visual direction. next to rbr adding vr and 3D cockpits is a real plus.

ac is my main sim and a great one at that. the main issues with the sim however and where the physics show up is on rally simming. the problem with ac is that the car is almost glued to the track. Its a very understeering sim and when back wheels are lost, the recovery and traction is almost immediate. With othr sims such as i racing its possible to step the back out and handle a drift or a slide. In AC its very difficult to do large slides unless the car is specifically set up for drifting, the sim naturally gets traction back very quickly and is more designed for gt racing. on a windy track, the reality is that the quickest way around a hairpin is to slide the backend and the whole purpose of sim racing is realism, not in graphics but in physics
I strongly disagree with the car being "glued to the track" lol. Maybe you're talking about Rally? but even GT3 cars will lift off the ground on Nord. The idea that only drift tuned vehicles can do big slides is also very disagreeable
@@kizuuna rally cars aren't glued to the ground either, modern cars are just really grippy but like they are in real life lol, you can slide easily with an Escort mk2
LOL, I guess you haven't learned how to turn off the assists yet then. AC (and ACC) has by far the best and most natural feeling slides I personally have ever experienced. The real problem with rallying in it however is that as a tarmac sim it doesn't model loose surface physics. That means there's no surface deformation and tyres won't dig deeper into gravel when going sideways and spinning the tyres like they do in real life
@@oigolueb you can literally slide easily with almost any car in the japanese pack, some of which actually are relatively modern. I mean there's little difficulty in sliding a car if it's not GT or a hypercar. Or not on unreal tires
AC will never die! i just hope AC evo will be this open to mods.
It won’t be as open, heavily regulated maybe even monetized , CEO already said mods adds nothing to the game his words.
I'm sure people will keep OG Assetto going if that's the case

Pikes Peak in Dirt is great. It looks a bit dated by now but it's still heaps of fun, especially in VR.

Road, dirt and snow...I love Rally!
You got any settings for the Moza that you recommend?
Really cool but, someone really needs to make a sound mod for those Rally1s, they sound rough, to put it nicelly😅
Very interesting. Thanks for the info.

What do you need to download to play Rally? Only the stage and the cars??What about the physics? Sorry I'm new to AC

le mont Ventou, you can catch it on overtake I think.

nice what track is this?
Something looks really strange here. Maybe its your fov, but it looks like you are going 30mph when you are doing 180kph.
Of course it's the FOV.
I'm sorry, why are you white on right screen but mixed on left one?

Dirt Rally 1's visuals are more grounded than 2.0's. One of the reasons I still go back to it. And it runs better in VR

One thing I think is if AC evo is not so open to mods and they end up being regulated, the community will do their thing and fill it with mods anyway
My "Rally mode" have stoped working 😭
Can run the maps with the new physics atleast, but it takes away the part of it beeing a rally game 😑
speed feeling seems to be mediocre
you was speeding down @ 180 kmh / 110 mph
but a nice variation from curcuit racing
Is this all using mods?
