Hi Gabes! You are an Incredible Traveler! It’s so good to see that you have gain so much of popularity & you can explore the world more extensively, Budget is not a big factor for you any more. Hard work & perseverance pays... you are an inspiration. Happy s Travels! Cheers!
The one thing I love about your channel Gabriel is we all can travel the world with you see things we may never see in life , your doing it for us all so thank you, safe travels 👍
You changed my life for me 3 years ago Gabe when i found your channel.. You my friend are a living pure inspiration. You completely changed my. Forever grateful. The Devine :)
Hey Gabe, always love hearing your perspective on travel in chilled out videos like these. Malta is really nice, I'm sure you'd love it, as it bears similarities with Greece and has a lot of great architecture. If you drop by the UK as you mentioned over the winter and I'm around, I'd love to hangout. Safe travels!
I see, great. If you see me in the UK then feel free to get in touch and remind me. I have a way of forgetting stuff in the course of traveling. My email can be found on the about page or feel free to leave a comment. Not sure how much exploring I would do since it's getting colder, might just visit London this time.
Greece is my favorite country on the planet. It has absolutely everything one could wish for, from 80% mountains, 16.000 km crystal clear coastline, 6000 islands, from snow capped mountains to the only natural palmforests of Europe and from lush forests to volcano's and rugged landscapes and so much more. Then the incredible culture and history and the divine food. What I really like about Greece is that you always have mountains, breathtaking landscapes, islands, history, and so on in every corner of Greece. And Gabriel has now mostly traveled the islands which per island spend only a very brief moment and many great gems in every island where not visited. But that is fine as his goal is just to give the viewer a quick insight to the places that he goes to.
Tunisia is fucking awesome, there is a place called Sidi Bou Said that's so similar to the greek style of blue and white walls-houses with great beaches at El Marsa, Sousse , Djerba (a small island), Hammamet. pretty cheap country as the 1USD= 2.83 TND.
Gabriel! We love your channel and are hoping to use your India budget tips very soon. We found you from your Belize videos because that is where we have started our travels. Take care and keep traveling
Awesome that you went to Karpathos. That island has always intriged me the most of all the Greek islands. I think because it's so isolated and remote.. I definitely gotta check out Greece one day. I was just in the Balkans for the past several weeks, but I am back in Colorado now. Ski season is coming!
Arch Stanton Rhodes is pretty isolated from the the rest of country itself. It’s much closer to Turkey then the rest of the Greece. That’s what I mean.
Your love of Greece makes me very happy! My family is from Syros, a beautiful island across from Mykonos that I definitely recommend visiting. It's a stunning place worth visiting for sure!
I'm having a Malta fever and can't wait to visit there. Wasn't sure if Gabe has been there yet and searcher and came up with this video. Sure gonna visit this winter, off-season most likely.
I must say I really like the vibe of this trip and its spontineity. Its old school Gabriel. I really was impressed with Symi. The Greek Islands have a lot of variety thanks for taking us down some of the back roads.
To your Southern African countries you definitely add Botswana which is considered the “jewel of Southern Africa” which has lots of interesting places to visit including access to the famous Victoria Falls.
@Gabriel. Regarding your next travel destination Crete. I don't know what to say. It's way way way too large and I have traveled there 8 times and many times traveled so many kilometers by car, last year 3200 kilometers on this island. And I can tell you, after all these times there are many places that I have not visited in Crete. But what I can tell you is that it's an incredible island. Just like any Greek island. But it's really called a small continent as it has everything a continent has. I don't know where you are going to start and there list is almost endless ... but. There are 4 prefectures in Crete. *If you go to the most left prefecture Chania then don't miss some of the many great things like these:* - Chania town (gorgeous and picturescue town with many great foods. If you eat there don't miss the restaurant "to Stachi". - The white mountains: Lefka ori, and the walk in the longest gorge of Europe, the Samaria gorge. - Balos lagoon which you can go by taking the boat and elafonisos beach. - Orange valley and the village there Meskla. You can do this by car or by mini train from beach places from left of chania like Agia marina. - walk a part of the E4 hiking path that also goes across the white mountains that rise 2500 meters out of the sea delivering stunning views. - Basically the entire white mountains and around and on top of the white mountains delivers so many spectacular sceneries. Also on top of the white mountains is like being on the surface of another planet, while on lower levels many forests and vegetation types and many many flowers over the islands only found here. *If you go to the second left prefecture of Rethymnon then don't miss things like these:* - Rethymnon town. Smaller town like Chania, but also gorgeous, beautiful streets and so on. - The road to Plakias town, the gorge that you pass and the road that goes to Spili and further. Alot of diverse terrain from rugged to alpine to lush forests, chestnut forests and much more. - Arkadi monastery - Preveli beach which is a river from the mountains surrounded by palm trees that ends into the sea. Really nice. Also you can do the Kourtaliotiko gorge - Southern road of Crete and Frangokastello - Lake kournas *If you go to the middle right prefecture of Heraklion then don't miss some of the many great things like these:* - Matala beach with it's caves - the road from Heraklion to Phaestos a minoan palace 4000-5000 years ago. You can also do a round trip around the Psiloritis mountains which means continuing after visiting Phaestos. - From Heraklion the road in to the wine country with it's rolling hills and wine making all around. - Also while going to the wine country dont miss Knossos palaces and it's history dated back to 9000 years ago. *If you go to the most right prefecture East Crete then don't miss some of the many great things like these* - The road from Agios nikolaos to Zakros - Gorge of the dead at Zakros - Vai natural palm forest - Lassithi plateau and it's surrounding mountains and villages. Also the cave of Zeus here - Agios Nikolaos - Spinalonga island - Chrissi island And basically too many great towns and villages there inland and on the coast that are great. And basically it's the road traveled around the island of Crete that is incredible. Many scenic roads, things to see, eat, many historic places left and right, dated to 1000 years ago, 2000-2500 years ago, 3200-5500 years ago, 9000 years ago. Again don't know what, but the island is overfilled with diverse beauties. These few things above would already give you 1+ month travel time experiences. But great ones
Wow this idea of doing a season working at the ski resort is amazing. This will get a lot of views so many milennials are curious about this contract work and then taking a few months off, could you please do a series on working and living in a ski resort?? What mountain? Vail/ Breck/ whistler??
TIBET ! ! ! .....that was my first ever solo travel destination and it will forever be on the very top of all my world travels right along with Easter Island!!! I've been fascinated and obsessed about both places since early childhood so both trips will always be very special. I went to Tibet when it was still possible to cross the Himalaya from Kathmandu. Had to do it as part of a tour on a group visa and crossed in a Toyota Landcruiser going from Kathmandu to Lhasa in 8 days and then flew back to Kathmandu. That's all I've ever seen of China because the group visa wouldn't have allowed me to go elsewhere, let alone independently. But I'm very glad and lucky that I got to in the first place because even back in 2000 it was really hit or miss to get the visa and these days it's really bad and most people from what I hear give up on getting a visa for the Himalayan route and even if you want to go by train from the mainland (which didn't exist when I went) it's really hard to get a visa these days. It's even easier for a western tourist to travel around 'freely' in the Ürümqi region.
Omg, Karpathos! I am going next year to Karpathos, it has spactacular beaches, cant wait :). Excited to see your video and Karpathos! Greetings from Slovenia :)
I’d definitely recommend Georgia! So much history, good food, beautiful nature and mountains there and people are really nice too. Also Tbilisi is one of my favorite cities. It has it’s own unique character. Such a cool place! And from Georgia continue to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran and Central Asia! That would be an amazing trip! 😀
Just to remind you, sikkim and Darjeeling was once part of Nepal. Most of the people living there are of Nepalese origin. It is so beautiful definitely.
Go to rio de janeiro! It should be cheap right now since the currency is weak over there. Im heading there in december, literally got an airbnb apartment for like $35 on the copacabana beach front with an insane view of copacabana beach
I suggest western Crete for you after Knossos. Mountains and gorges galore. Some excellent mountainous public cheap and awesome bus journeys to be had there. Then ferry from paleohora (where you can use your tent) to gavdos weather permitting. See Ya!
Glad you added New Zealand to your list. a lot of travellers spend 2 weeks here but it is just not enough time. Make sure to check out Taranaki voted 2nd best region in the world by lonely planet guide surf and mountain. Perfect combination.
You should visit Crete, especially rethymon old town and beautiful harbour and some monasterys like Preveli monastery and preveli Bridge and the Hippie place Matala and the windmills of Lassathi. Also, corfu is very nice.

@@GabrielTravelerVideos disappointed you didn't take up the challenge right away but "you never know" leaves us hopeful. How about finishing all countries and then going back to the ones you liked? That way you'll have a broader gamut to choose from as you would've been there, done that.
Sounds like we can look forward to some great videos from you in the future! Looking forward to your Crete videos. Don't forget to consider the Mediterranean island of Corsica. It would be awesome if you could get to Georgia on this trip.
Wow you have visited so many places Gabriel. You HAVE to visit Sydney Australia where we live. Also if you go to Sicily you need to visit the Aolian islands My husband was born on the island of Salina. They are breathtakingly beautiful volcanic islands.Stay safe and keep posing.
Gabriel just avoid Heraklion (the capital and main port city of Crete). Crete is a beautiful island and you can find some seluded spots. Try going to Plakias which is in the southern part of the island .
I'm going to Heraklion tomorrow actually, lol. The ferry didn't go to Chania. But I want to visit Knossos anyway. Hopefully I'll be able to see some more of Crete, we'll see.
@@GabrielTravelerVideos well I didn't like Heraklion. It's crowded, loud and not much to see. I went to Rethymno later before heading over to the south to Plakias. Chania I heard is pretty nice to. Also moving around Crete is pretty easy. The buses are often and cheap.
Yeah I might have booked one night too many here, oh well. If I can do some day tours out of town that could keep me busy for the next three days. Someone else recommended Matala as well so I'll look into it.
OMG!!! Gabe you have to go to Panama!! I recommend Boquete, San Blas & Bocas DE El Toro when you get there!!! And of course, go see the Canal!!! Amazing!
One Idea for your trip is to go to Malta then go by ferry to Sicily. Check out Sicily a bit and then go by ferry from Sicily to Tunisia. From there you have the option of going to Egypt or Morocco by plane or to a whole different place :) . It also would be more comfortable to go to North Africa and Malta now because it's warm there, not in the UK or Iceland. And by the way there are several flights available from Athens to Malta by Ryanair.
If I was 20 years younger, would love to travel to Greece where my father's family is from, or Ireland, where my mom's family is from. I enjoy your videos from here in Seattle.
Info is sketchy, but supposedly a town called Phari, which means lighthouse, on the south eastern portion near Sparta. My ancestors were Greek Orthodox priests, descendants of Athanasius, the Bishop of Alexandria.
that look like nice sleepy island to visit. btw i was in bolivia, its my num 1 nature country in the world. simply amazing, visit the salar de auini, and the jungle in rouro navaque, and la paz the main city , its the cheapest place in south america hands down. safe trip gabriel
Interesting to know that even after visiting India 9 times, you still haven't been able to visit Kerala. Trust me it's one of the best places (just like Goa and Sikkim). I think next 3-4 months is the best time to visit India. I am Indian and haven't been to India in last 4 years. The only thing that I miss about that country is food and temples.
Gabe: Love your videos! I highly recommend Georgia (I've been there twice), especially since you're into hiking and outdoors adventures. The gave me a bottle of wine last time I went through their passport control!
what about Iran? my friend traveled to Iran earlier this year and he said its awesome: rich and long history & friendly people, many places to see, its now my no. 1 on wishlist. btw i am from north Croatia, when you come back to Croatia to visit beautiful islands(Korčula, Hvar, Rab, Kornati...) i suggest you to also visit continental Croatia.
Gabriel I lived in Morocco for two years and I definitely recommend going back there. Spend sometime in the Northern Atlas regions. I recommend a town called Chefchaouen which is amazing and a nearby lagoon paradise hidden in the mountains called Akchour!
I would like to see some of Africa, especially Sahara. Maybe something in Mali and Niger. I never see anything from there even though places like Timbuktu are so famous and "mythical".
Hey Gabe y don't u add/include travel time lapse video... while riding ferry.... flight journey... nite life... when u complete a country trip... also guide the viewers whether the trip should be package trip or trip can be done alone... if done alone how should be it done....
Hey Gabe, don´t know if you´re in Crete yet? my preference is for the western end of the island, although it´s all gorgeous. Good travel links into Chania, lots of cool places to explore around there, Gramvousa, Elephamousi (spelling?) and Samara gorge (although that might not be open this late in the year as it starts up in the high mountains and there might not be a ferry running from the end of it. Also of course Rethymnon and Heraklion in central Crete. And I don´t blame you for not wanting to visit every country, I don´t either. But if you ever find yourself heading to Norway, give me a shout :)
Maybe the question should have been what countries you don't want to go to, that's one hell of a wish list (including revisits) ;-) Glad you mentioned Central Asia there, that's one part of the world I'd be really curious to see through your eyes.
*IF YOU EVER COME TO THE UK GABE HIT ME UP... I Live at the seaside and you need to know where to visit here and not to miss a thing.. or if not myself another keen explorer. This is the land of the real bush craft. You must see the National Forest and the Peak District* .. Britain for me is the best country in the world for hiking and and exploring. I've been across all of europe and Asia and and the America's and nothing compares to the UK if you are in the know. The National forest is mind blowing alone with the West of Scotland. You can really get your walking boots on here and explore with not a trickle of hassle. Safe travels my friend. I'm back off in March for 5 months for another wonder. You made me go on my last 3 5 month ventures... soon everyone will migrate like we do.. LOL
I'm totally planning to visit the UK on this trip. Not sure what I'll be able to do since it's going into winter but looking forward to returning. My last time there was in 1990. I started my international travels in London the day after I turned 18.
Ever need a place to stay for a few days at the seaside at a nice hotel and some good words of advice for direction here your more than welcome. Your main focus should be the National Forest and the ‘Peak District’ .. There is a 147 mile walk through the entire lot. The uk is only 400 miles or so top to bottom. Only ever 50 miles away from sea at all times. Grasp the words ‘Cottages, Robin Hood, Thatched Roofs, Fresh Springs, Cathedrals, Queens Gardens, Architecture, Arts and Crafts, Caves, Peaks and Mountains and Roses’ .... My friend here it’s an amazing place to ‘Learn by listening no by talking’ on your way around.. let people tell you story’s. I’ve met some people on my walks here that I could never meet anywhere else. There’s people here that truly have been all around the world living out in the mountains here and their story’s are unremarkable. The way they have designed their homes and way of life. Welcome to the Secret Garden Gabe. It’s not advertised because it’s just too beautiful. :)

Visit Matala. Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan among others composed songs there back in the late 60s/ early 70s. Still a great hippie vibe going on.
Yeah I heard great things about Mata too! Enjoy and hope to see you in Poland (Poznan) soon!
Really hope you do come to Malta!
OMG!!! Gabe you have to go to Panama!! I recommend Boquete, San Blas & Bocas DE El Toro when you get there!!! And of course, go see the Canal!!! Amazing!
just stick around Greece for another 4 weeks. i'll be there November 11-20. buy ya a beer ha. great video once again
Thanks man, probably won't be here that long but have a great trip.
Hope you visit Mátala on Crete, I slept in the caves back in the 70’s with just one Taverna
Gabriel - better than lonely planet - Traveler
Good luck in your plans,Gabriel :)
Gabe: Love your videos! I highly recommend Georgia (I've been there twice), especially since you're into hiking and outdoors adventures. The gave me a bottle of wine last time I went through their passport control!
Georgia is travelers Mecca. High on my list too.
what about Iran? my friend traveled to Iran earlier this year and he said its awesome: rich and long history & friendly people, many places to see, its now my no. 1 on wishlist. btw i am from north Croatia, when you come back to Croatia to visit beautiful islands(Korčula, Hvar, Rab, Kornati...) i suggest you to also visit continental Croatia.
Iran sounds incredible.
hope you do! Good vids man!
Yes you will... for sure...
Turkey turkey go there. That will be lit
I've been to 20. Thinking about another trip to Europe and knock off another 15.
Love Namibia One of my most fav places in the world.
You should start visiting sub-Saharan Africa: lots of beautiful sights and fascinating cultures.
Mongolia & Tuva would be very interesting
Gabriel I lived in Morocco for two years and I definitely recommend going back there. Spend sometime in the Northern Atlas regions. I recommend a town called Chefchaouen which is amazing and a nearby lagoon paradise hidden in the mountains called Akchour!
Everywhere. Want to go everywhere. 😂👍. I vote for a few new places. Good luck. Safe travels. 🛳✈️
How are you gab, how you are you doing,,, nice video like always
you need to come to NIGERIA !! too West Africa
Do try to visit Tajmahal, Agra In , whenever you visit India next time. Its one of the wonders of the world.
Yes, it's amazing: ua-cam.com/video/DjcbzY3D6rs/v-deo.html
Gabriel try makarounes which is traditional handmade pasta, also try to visit the remote village of Olympos.
Hey Gabe Feel free to come back to Israel, It's probably the cheapest flight from Crete great video as always!

@Coloredspaces
At the moment it's still very warm here in London, Gabriel :)
Leh to Manali by minibus was incredible but somewhat scary in places!
How many countries have you visited in South America?
You're videos are great dude. If you make it to Australia you can crash on my couch in Perth
Cool man, thanks.
