Biggie really did a fantastic job on this list. Even before 2.0 it was amazing~ I recommend this list above many others. It’s one of my top three to be sure
I used to think this modpack is too hard, but it’s configurable to some extent and it’s harder than the vanilla game but it’s so rewarding finishing a bandit hideout at level 10 without dying once. The accomplishment felt from knowing when to block and when to swing, when to dodge, when to use a bow if you have one (I’m playing a redguard legionnaire, so I go between a crossbow and a sword and shield) Only thing I changed was turning off fast travel cost because I work for a living irl and I don’t want to spend all my time walking everywhere, and I do just prefer fast traveling. My playtime window is very limited.
Ah, a vid about a new wabbajack. Gonna watch it, but I have a playthrough going on, not gonna try it. Minutes later, after seeing visuals and because Requiem is included... "ah shit, here we go again". Thanks for the review, it definitely makes me want to give it a go.

Ok, I just came back from a long weekend and honestly I'm in love now. My new PC will host this as the first Skyrim installation in years. Holy shit whoever got the idea to move Skyrim modding to the next level with complete collections was the Satoshi Nakamoto of Skyrim modding! This shoots my dopamine levels through the roof.
For real! I played Skyrim a ton back in the day, haven't touched it in years. This LoreRim modlist looks absolutely sick, but I was blown away by the simple fact that this Wabbajack tool exists!!! How long has that been a thing?!
Small nitpick, long swords are actually quite light. Video games always get this wrong and it bugs me a bit, but for balancing purposes it makes sense as if it was as fast as it could be in real life it would basically just be a two handed short sword in Skyrim
@nate9948 take a look at a daedric greatword and try telling me its light. These are fantasy swords, they're oversized, thick bladed and completely not realistic at all. they're absolutely not long sword.
@ even the heaviest swords meant for actual combat in human history have only weighed up to roughly 2-3kg with the heaviest being around 3.5kg. I get that it’s fantasy and not meant to be realistic but my point was that most games get this detail wrong. Also I wasn’t talking about the fantasy swords that could never possibly exist in real life, I was talking about the ones with real life counterparts such as the steel or iron swords, you could even make an argument for the dwemer greatsword but I’m unsure of the lore accurate weight on corundum. All I’m trying to say is the swords are slow and unrealistic at least in the base game, I have no idea how they feel in this mod as I’m currently waiting for it to download, I’m hoping they make it at least slightly more realistic
@nate9948 that's also subjective to what historical swords you are referencing Zweihanders, longswords, Claymores. The most common wannabe historian compares "two handed" swords is a Montante which is a thin but tall sword gripped in two hands. Which is very agile however None of these are in Skyrim. It's a high fantasy game. And considering the context is Skyrim .... well it's literally pointless making comparisons to fictional weaponry which barely resemble historical weaponry. That been said the animations vary from slow to fast depending on your stance you use. Theres something to accommodate any weight of type of weapon.
@@RelentlessZenI'm sorry but even with a proper Zweihander an experienced guy can become a beyblade, and the Zweihander is *huge* , easily bigger than the Daedric greatsword (and "wannabe historians", as you've obtusely put it, usually think about those swords, at least judging from years of forum experience). Those animations are simply too front heavy, as if it was a teenager trying to swing around a logging axe lmao
@Miszorov zweihanders are longer, not thicker, heavier than FICTIONAL video game swords. if you're trying to tell me that a FICTIONAL video game sword that is thicker and wider than 2 plates stacked together is going to swing the same as a real life properly balance weighted sword with a blade that's edged correctly.... well i don't know what to tell you man. Comparing reality to fiction is unhealthy for your mental. Because its incomparable in no way do the 2 things even look the same. The only characteristic that is similar is they're both swords and you hold them in two hands. you're completely missing the point of why they make this weapon type in video games in the first place. Which is balance. Because again this is a video game where you shout people to death, dragons fly in the sky and you can put buckets on people's heads and steal all their possession while they are non the wiser. so yes, do try to over explain how I'm wrong that a Zweihander would swing just the same as a Daedric greatsword. real tired of wannabe historians who can't separate Reality From quite clear and obvious fiction.
Bought the anniversary update after many huffs and puffs urmss and armmms about it for some long JUST to try this because I feel like as a man who does enjoy modded skyrim I owe it to myself to experience this
this looks perfect for me, i hate most the mods packs changing the combat in a drastic way that it just doesnt feel like skyrim no more like why, so yeah this is perfect probably the best mod pack iv ever seen for skyrim
Why does your video look so far and away better than other ones I've seen on the same modlist? just curious. Especially at 7:20 everything is so crisp edit: I think it's the bloom and also I'm assuming you're playing at 4k versus my 1440p on my lil 3070 lol.
3000 mods worth of content. Any modlist of this size is around this much storage space. It's not a modern triple AAA game after all, everything's made by different people and then packaged up so file size is always going to bloat.
It's a shame LoreRim doesn't have a dedicated guide. There are so many mods, so many tweaks, it would be amazing if it had something like a wiki were you could at least know what spells, armors, magical effects... are in the game so you could plan something ahead. Can you tell us something about survival mechanics? Is there something like Campfire so you can camp anywhere, or Frostfall to implement a freezing mechanic? Is it possible to respec your perks, maybe after defeating Miraak? Normally respec is forbidden in Requiem's lists. Is there any item or spell to teleport around the map? Or any to teleport in combat?
All great questions, il make sure to include answers in the part video. for survival Requiem has all of that baked in and you can untick it in default survival mode setting. Fast traveling is the same as regular, there is more options like boats now too. haven't seen any respec stuff yet, il look into it though
Holy actual shit this looks amazing. Ive stopped everything im doing and downloading it now. Ive removed every other modlist i dont even care about them anymore
omg! you made Lorerim look sexy as hell. 😳 i wasn't going to bother trying to figure how to make it work with my current setup, but now i feel like i have no choice lol💖
This is making me wanna give the list a second go. The first time with requiem I didn't really know jack. I think I can give it a better approach with some the info you gave here
Yeah a lot of people go in thinking they can jsut steamroll through dungeons. Requiem is meant to pace things slower, give you more reason to plan, work towards things. You aren't supposed to just wonder up to Bleakfalls as a level 1 and defeat a small army before you even get to the door.
That looks unbelievable. What hardware setup do you need for being able to play that? I’m a long term Skyrim fan from the first hour and I love what’s possible on pc, therefore I finally have to make the leap to pc but I’m totally clueless as to what is needed to enjoy my favorite game ever on this level. Would be extremely grateful for an answer. Thanks guys 🙏🏼

Downloaded this a few days ago and fell in love. Stunning visuals, the character models fit in perfectly. I just need to add a bit of stuff to it that I myself like and it may be my go to for a long time.
Thank you so much for this, exactly what I needed to know showcasing this. Time for my 50th skyrim playthrough lol.
Glad I could help!
Wow, incredible and very high quality review!❤
I swear Skyrim modders should just make an original game of their own. This looks nuts even though it's Skyrim lol.
I mean they are with Beyond Skyrim. There’s even a city you can download already. Check out the website

They are making one. Kind of. Checkout beyond skyrim project. They have UA-cam official showcase channel too❤
yup, Beyond Skyrim all the way. With Skywind and Skyblivion, plus the full Beyond Skyrim mod, you'll be able to experience the best generational character experience in recent memory by 2028 or so
Enderal is a whole game mod for Skyrim.
Wow, this mod sounds exactly like what I always hoped to turn Skyrim into. And wow that archer moves look really awesome! Reminds me of DD2 archer a lot!
This is so incredible. No more save scuming, bonfire system, "dark souls" like combat, reworked graphics?! This is the best Skyrim remaster that could have ever existed, OMG! I guess it's time to get back into Skyrim again! :D
I'm almost ddone installing it now, I hope it works! Looks incredible and I havent played skyrim in like 8 years, so this will be a treat
@Nathdood just be prepared for a humble start that will require you to learn mechanics.
For example: if you wear heavy armor without a perk in the skill tree, your stamina will drain rapidly.
don't expect to do Bleak falls barrow until around level 10 / 15.
be patient when booting from LoreRims Mod otganizer 2 and don't click unlock after you Run it.
@@RelentlessZen I've put in about 40 hours since this comment, and you helped me a ton! I'm level 18 2h/heavy armor warrior. Knowing to spend my perks in the beginning really helped me out. I went the babyway and did Novice difficulty on Requiem Lite until I got comfortable, then put it back to Adept. You're the reason I found this modlist, and now I'm obsessed!
Thank you!
This was a great watch! I’m in the process of building my first Pc. I’ve been consoles, looks like I’m in for a real treat with this one. 😃
This has definitely caught my attention and I shall now begin my 40th playthrough.
I've played a few mod packs and the main one I play is nolvus but this would be a nice edition to play on my laptop when I'm far from home.
keep in mind that is a 3000+ mod modlist, it's just as demanding as Nolvus if not more.
@@RelentlessZen Would you have better or worse fps in Lorerim vs Nolvus? This modlist looks awesome!
@The_Dude_Abides117 both are about the same.
I'm just amazed, i've played requiem for many years and i usually play Arkay's Commandment but this is just a level above of Awesomeness!!! LoRerim here i come!
The modlist I've always dreamed of.
The cinematics 👌🏽good stuff zen biggie def cookedd
Yeah but podcast when!?
@@RelentlessZen you just let me know a date I’m ready bro 🍻
Part two please! This video was fantastic!
Enabling Requiem Lite makes this the best skyrim experience ive ever had
What do you mean by that ? I try to make the experience a bit less tedious but I can't find a Requiem Lite like you said
@@tbknaito its in the optional tab in MO2.
Yeah, I had to enable it as well. I kept getting one shot by wolves and skeletons first 10 minutes...
Finally the G.A.M.M.A of Skyrim is here😊
Great video, looking forward to part 2
Yessss. Go biggie! ❤
I was thinking of unfortunately buying nexus premium so I can get a few mod lists to try and seeing this made me want it a little more
phenomenal video as always, ill have to give this mod list a try.
its been 10 years looking for ppl who actually dislike eye-candy, exaggerated effects on Skyrim and make good recommendations on mod packages, i finally found you.
I need this with a 4090 on a Quest 3. ENB looks glorious.
I’m using Eldergleem and I think I prefer the graphics. But the combat in this looks spectacular! Would love to give this a try
LoRim a visual oerhoul and one of the best gameplay mds beets Requiem. Looks awesome
Biggie really did a fantastic job on this list. Even before 2.0 it was amazing~
I recommend this list above many others. It’s one of my top three to be sure
Is it controller friendly?
@@brandonenke2680 yes
The art style of this look amazing, kinda more cartoon, kinda like fable
very cool and in-depth video dude, thank you
Legitimately interested in seeing this, I've heard good stuff about Lorerim recently and I've been wondering about dipping my toes in further.
@@BullofCrete I wanted to dive deeper in part 1 however my pc issues required a windows reinstall and I ran of time to release a 30 min deep dive
@@RelentlessZen that’s what part 2 is for
@@BullofCrete hell yeah brother! My pc was stun locked randomly, reinstalling windows seems to have fixed it. So I'm straight on it
I used to think this modpack is too hard, but it’s configurable to some extent and it’s harder than the vanilla game but it’s so rewarding finishing a bandit hideout at level 10 without dying once. The accomplishment felt from knowing when to block and when to swing, when to dodge, when to use a bow if you have one (I’m playing a redguard legionnaire, so I go between a crossbow and a sword and shield)
Only thing I changed was turning off fast travel cost because I work for a living irl and I don’t want to spend all my time walking everywhere, and I do just prefer fast traveling. My playtime window is very limited.
Best mod list tbh
Ah, a vid about a new wabbajack. Gonna watch it, but I have a playthrough going on, not gonna try it.
Minutes later, after seeing visuals and because Requiem is included... "ah shit, here we go again". Thanks for the review, it definitely makes me want to give it a go.
Lorerim is great they should be getting a massive pay day everyone should be donating to them
amazing showcase. great flow and pacing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@RelentlessZen I liked it too but the background audio is sometimes too loud. Maybe it's because I'm not a native English speaker but it was sometimes difficult to understand
Fantasitc review! Was wondering about the music used in the video especially the music at the end.
The song at the end is: VIKINGS by Carlos Estella
Awesome! Can't wait for part 2.
Been waiting for this 🙌
The stance red with dagger is the dark messiah animation😆
Bought the anniversary update after many huffs and puffs urmss and armmms about it for some long JUST to try this because I feel like as a man who does enjoy modded skyrim I owe it to myself to experience this
This looks and sounds awesome
Amazing video, thank you for sharing!
Amazing video
this looks perfect for me, i hate most the mods packs changing the combat in a drastic way that it just doesnt feel like skyrim no more like why, so yeah this is perfect probably the best mod pack iv ever seen for skyrim
Loved this Video a Lot!!! ❤
Quick Question : Does it support A Controller?
Yes, there's options you can activate within mod organiser
@@RelentlessZen Thanx a Lot :-)
this looks really good.
Why does your video look so far and away better than other ones I've seen on the same modlist? just curious. Especially at 7:20 everything is so crisp
edit: I think it's the bloom and also I'm assuming you're playing at 4k versus my 1440p on my lil 3070 lol.
This list is so good
Rogue and Mage are wonderful 😊
Awesome video I loved it I would like to see your take on a snow elf princess that is a high priestess of Auriel.
This looks awesome -- dayum though, half of a TB to install? Suppose that is for 4k textures?
Honestly it's the best way to experience Skyrim. Come swing by the live streams here on YT to see more!
Wow. Amazing video and mod. This feels like a AAAA release.
I've been playing the Immersive modpack ( SFW ) and have been enjoying that but this looks even better. I've never used Wabbajack before tho.
@@BeerForTim wabbajack is very easy to use, LoreRim website has a very indepth preinstallation guide.
Bethesda said that expectations for TE6 will be impossible to reach. Meanwhile these epic mods are made by fan modders for free.
omg! you made Lorerim look sexy as hell.
@@RelentlessZen what should i do on a fresh character?
That looks unbelievable. What hardware setup do you need for being able to play that? I’m a long term Skyrim fan from the first hour and I love what’s possible on pc, therefore I finally have to make the leap to pc but I’m totally clueless as to what is needed to enjoy my favorite game ever on this level. Would be extremely grateful for an answer. Thanks guys 🙏🏼
Recommened specs are on the website 🙂
@@RelentlessZen thank you very much :)
this looks fucking insane.
At this point continuing to tell myself Xbox is good enough for me is like being in an abusive relationship…😂 I gotta get these computers so I can do this.

This looks awsome. Can you still use a controller with this set?
there is controller support but it will never be as versitile as MnK to use ALL keybinds. but combat is covered.
This makes me hyped for Skyrim hahae.
Would love to see a review for Nordic Souls
I think listing the specs of your PC during the review playthrough would be very helpful
I've updated my description, I usually add them, thanks for jogging my memory!
Nice. What resolution are you playing at?
@@bwloawesome I use PiP mode for my G9 monitor to split it into 2 screens when recording and streaming so its 3360x1440p
However the modlist runs fine at my full resolution 5120x1440p
Amazing video!
Thanks mate! Hope you're having a awesome day!
In many ways I like Lorerim more than Nolvus but it does seem to sadly miss one of my essentials, Legacy of the Dragonborn
It's genuinely mad to me to think that this game is still getting so much love and work on it... not by the devs, because ofc not. But damn it's impressive
Can i be honest? I've never played Skyrim .. I watch videos sure, it looks great for those who have it part of their upbringing into gaming.. but I've never played a single player RPG and I was totally fine just watching from the sidelines.. but you know what? I think I'm gonna give it a go here with this mod. I just bought Skyrim actually and I'm about to start downloading it.. then I'll try to figure out how to add this modlist to it
You showcased both first and third person gameplay, I'm curious if you feel one is "better" than the other? Does it depend on your build, or is it pretty equal? I love when a modlist makes third person work well, because sometimes it feels pretty clunky.
@StretchyPlays I've been enjoying both, my playthrough on stream has been favoring first person.
for me it depends on the situation, build and enemy I'm faced with.
5:16 "ouhgh fek"
i felt that
What spells and stuff are being used at 6:54? Been playing Lorerim and would love to use these in it
