I love regular cab, standard beds. I've owned 3 and have no desire to own a different configuration. With that said, there is no way I would spend $40k on a 2wd wt spec with a 4 cylinder. Should cost more like $26k, IMO.
It's 4WD, but you're right it does seem crazy to spend that much on a little work truck.

Thats why I just sold my 18 silverado and got a 22 f150 5.0 rcsb. I didn't want to switch brands but I can't say I'm disappointed. Forest gump always comes to mind "he might be the stupidest son of a bitch alive but he sure is fast" 😂

Great City Truck. Extremely Small. It's just the width that is on the wide side (bad for narrow driveways).

Since when is a 2024 regular cab short bed available in a 5.3 ? When I click on the 5.3 configuration it changes the truck to a long box “long bed “ ????

@@luciq8 oo ok. So your out around Saudi Arabia? I no there not avail here because I just ordered a 2024 2door short bed bright red one and the order sheet would not let me select the 5.3 unless it was a long bed. Witch I would NEVER OWN

There's a much bigger demand for crew cab trucks. Two doors are becoming easier to get though.

This configuration w a V- 8 would be flying out the dealership doors but Chevrolet thinks you want a 4 door pig which is compromised by AFM , which is giving people fits. Oh and furthermore, no one’s buying new truck’s right now because they’re ridiculously priced and the economy sucks. Gee, I wonder if orange man will win for the third time and actually be prez this time. Ya think? Lol

I still have my 2013 reg cab short box 5.3 4x4 Silverado . Its been a great truck. I want a new one but I'm sad to say I cannot upgrade or downgrade to the new barbie 4 cylinder that sounds like a hairdryer and with 10 less HP. What a serious lunch-bag let down. Must be a new woke team of designers now? I'll keep the old one, thanks.

Short answer is no. Chevy doesn't make them with a 6.2. Anything is possible though...
