So I have inflammation so bad and I have been having knee and hip pain, doctor gave me Diclofenac and I took it for a year, I’m fine if I weight train, so being 66 years old, I wanted to see if I stopped taking it I would be able to continue and maybe be able to run again. Three days later I barely could walk and meniscus starts hurting…so i take the Diclofenac and after 4 days I’m fine but can’t run more than 5 steps. I used to be a bodybuilder and could squat over 400 pounds. Trt or wait for 157 trials? Thanks

If I try BPC157 temporarily for 1 to 3 months. Will this eventually be out of my system if I stop after? Or will it always be detectable via anti doping agencies?
I need you to use yer brain for a bit, think about it, how would a drug stay forever in your system? If you stop using any type of drug it will eventually get out of your system, I dont know exactly how long it would take for bpc-157 to get out but if you stopped for a month it probably wont get detected
@@mrgraco3887 it's not a drug it's a synthetic amino acid. Some drugs can still be detectable at pocogram levels for a decade or more. Just want to make sure that's not the case here
There are no studies on using BPC 157 for ACL injuries. Given the nature of that injury, and its intra-articular nature in a joint with synovial fluid, I have no reason to believe that peptide would heal an ACL injury on its own. I do believe it could possibly help a patient recover faster from that surgery, but that is in no way medical advice.
Question. We own a gym and see some people with long covid. What we notice in those people is that their muscles fatique very fast due to a (we think) disturbed oxygensuply to those muscles. Since to talked about increasing the oxygenpathway towarts muscles etc,... would BPC 157 be a good treatment for long covid?

yeah i dont understand why more doctors dont do this? take rotator cuff injuries on shoulders for example. super common injury and it cant be healed without surgery. you can improve the symptoms a bit with exercises if youre lucky. if youre unlucky exercises will just make it worse. and surgery puts your arm out of action for 6 months and it may not even get that much better. but on rats rotator cuff injuries have been proven to heal with bpc and at least anecdotally with humans as well. and im talking 90-100% recovery here. so whats the hold up? its really crazy. and its not as if they can say "oh bpc 157 is so new" its been around for a really long time!
So for a person with knee issues, wrist issues, bicep issues, multiple issues it would be easiest to do oral if that would be at all effective to cover all injuries/issues. Or would one just need to subQ at site? Or subQ in stomach? Thank you!
I am actually recording a video on this exact question, so it should be up soon. In general, many peptide therapy experts I know have not been impressed with oral BPC 157 for musculoskeletal injuries. The question of close to the area of injury vs. one location and hoping it helps a distant injury is much debated.
Does anyone know if this would help my knee, I’ve been having knee pain and ran an x ray nothing showed up but even though I’ve been icing it and took a month break for working out my legs I still have the pain.

I had a hip subluxation (partial dislocation---popped out and back in) from trying an all-out wind sprint at age 73. Not considering hip replacement---hip was fine before injury--- but it's been a year with no improvement. Considering trying BPC-157. Anyone here with similar experience ?
Same peptide with a different route of absorption into the body. While they have been shown to be equally bioavailable, there is debate about how effective oral BPC 157 is for musculoskeletal injuries.
What is your view on oral and injection? I read different stories about oral can be just as effective for tendon issues and injecting in "close" to injury area adds nothing to it. .. guess i was to soon typing this. As you mention in the video later on oral is indeed just as effective.
As a user of PCI Peptides' on Etsy BPC 157 and TB 500, I'm quite impressed with their product quality and value for money. Their commitment to independent testing lends an extra layer of confidence in their products' legitimacy. I find the bulk powder form cost-effective, despite the extra step required for use. The BPC 157, in its arginine state, has been especially convenient due to its oral bioavailability. However, I do wish they'd provide more detailed usage instructions. Overall, I rate them 4 out of 5 stars, considering their value, transparency, and quality.

Great video doctor, nice to see some one from the professional field give their though. I'm willing to try bpc for a partial RC tear the only downside that i heard of is that it feeds cancer cells but i dont know if that's true
BPC has angiogenic effects, such as neovascularization. If anything, this should be a relative contraindaction for anyone with cancer history or high risk, if anything should be used to inform patients offered this. The research on this peptide is severely limited, and to date there are no human RCTs, and what few rat studies there have been have found both increased incidence of certain cancers (particularly gastic) and decreased incidence of cancers. In summary, any angiomodulatory agent should caution us in its potential effects on cancer risk. It looks like it could be very promising, but I’d personally be very cautious giving this to patients because there’s such little research done.

I've been reading lots of papers about the rat studies, it seems really promising for human use (especially coupled with the anecdotal evidence). I know clinical trails cost money and recruiting for human trails is hard..but with the possible benefits of BPC 157 seemingly being huge why is there such a lack of human research? It seems super odd to me that something that could be so useful and seemingly so promising has very little human research and very little negative side effects in the research....any thoughts on this?
That's an interesting question. There are human studies being started, but they are mostly collections of patient outcomes - basically case series. Those will be helpful for knowing the outcomes but won't get them approved by the FDA. I'd say the lack of studies is due to a number of factors - the millions and millions of dollars proper studies would cost, a lack of interest by the pharmaceutical companies to pay for the research, and the status of peptides as experimental by the FDA.
@@DrDavidGeier thank you! wouldn't the result of successful studies allow a big pharma to bring this treatment (seemingly extremely helpful) to the mainstream population? and capitalize on the market share to make $$ to justify the cost of the study? or is this a no go because of the experimental status / existing treatments and profits outweigh peptides?
@awfab3517 no didn't try it mate . Done alot of research. It was one dr that said it "might " affect heart arrhythmia. Am not ruling it out . Am 50 /50 tbh

Hypothetically, if someone had a barely hanging on meniscus due to multiple injuries, based on the studies done so far, in your opinion, hypothetically, as a thought experiment, would bpc157 actually help repair that shredded but still attached meniscus?

I need an expert who will help me administer BPC and TB 500.

I’ve started taking BPC 157 ( 10 cc/ml units per day) injection in belly fat. I’m using in order to heal my big toes injuries ( I had to stop cortisone shots because it was just a bandaid, not a fix). I’m supposed to use for 30 days in a row. After 4 days I stated to see results in my toes, but I also started experiencing abrupt constipation since day 1. I had to stop the injections. What would help the most? Lowering the daily dosage or injecting in the thigh / toe directly, or should I keep injecting in the belly but maybe not every day? I got the peptide from NexGen location. I just got exhausted by my podiatrist telling me my tow situation was because of an extra bone and wouldn’t validate that 2 years ago someone stepped on my toe and the fluid between the bones leaked out and thus I have arthritis in my right foot big toe.

Just want to make sure that's not the case here
can BPC-157 restore a completely torn ligament, say an ACL or is it recommended to get surgical repair of that ligament 1st and then take BPC-157?
There are no studies on using BPC 157 for ACL injuries. Given the nature of that injury, and its intra-articular nature in a joint with synovial fluid, I have no reason to believe that peptide would heal an ACL injury on its own. I do believe it could possibly help a patient recover faster from that surgery, but that is in no way medical advice.
Question. We own a gym and see some people with long covid. What we notice in those people is that their muscles fatique very fast due to a (we think) disturbed oxygensuply to those muscles.

I can't speak for the viewers leaving comments. I only recommend people see their doctors and if they choose to use peptides, get them prescribed from their doctors and filled through legitimate compounding pharmacies. I don't and won't recommend any online site for peptides.

No, it's systemic once you inject it, no reason to put it right near the knee, just pick a spot that's easy to inject into
In these studies was the BPC 157 injected into the tendon/ligaments? Or subcutaneous?

Hi Doctor, have you treated any of your patients with BPC 157?
yeah i dont understand why more doctors dont do this? take rotator cuff injuries on shoulders for example. super common injury and it cant be healed without surgery. you can improve the symptoms a bit with exercises if youre lucky. if youre unlucky exercises will just make it worse. and surgery puts your arm out of action for 6 months and it may not even get that much better. but on rats rotator cuff injuries have been proven to heal with bpc and at least anecdotally with humans as well. and im talking 90-100% recovery here. so whats the hold up? its really crazy. and its not as if they can say "oh bpc 157 is so new" its been around for a really long time!

What is the difference between injectionable vs oral bpc157?
Same peptide with a different route of absorption into the body. While they have been shown to be equally bioavailable, there is debate about how effective oral BPC 157 is for musculoskeletal injuries.
@@DrDavidGeier thank you
What is your view on oral and injection? I read different stories about oral can be just as effective for tendon issues and injecting in "close" to injury area adds nothing to it.
.. guess i was to soon typing this. As you mention in the video later on oral is indeed just as effective.
Neither is effective. It’s a scam. But oral would be objectively less effective because if doesn’t make it through the gut

I've never seen any studies that suggest BPC 157 is associated with any cancer.
Thats only for HGH, not peptides dude!

Hypothetically, if someone had a barely hanging on meniscus due to multiple injuries, based on the studies done so far, in your opinion, hypothetically, as a thought experiment, would bpc157 actually help repair that shredded but still attached meniscus?

No, what youre looking for are stem cells. Go to Tijuana or Medellin.
And dont let them remove your meniscus, get a stem cell treatment first
I'd be skeptical about BPC 157 helping to heal injuries inside a joint - meniscus tear of the knee, labral tear of the shoulder, but maybe it would. It hasn't been studied for those purposes, to my knowledge.

I’m desperate for something like this, I’ve had a broken bone in my foot and now my rhomboid is torn this is horrible made my life a lot harder
