Keystone Crickett 22 Rimfire Rifle
Designed with the beginning shooter in mind, Keystone Sporting Arms Crickett® Single-Shot Rimfire Rifle with Laminate Stock makes an ideal starter gun loaded with superior safety features. This bolt-action rifle requires manual cocking and has an rebounding firing pin block to prevent an unintentional discharge. It comes equipped with a 16.125" barrel with 1:16" rate-of-twist rifling and polymer stock with 11.5" length of pull totaling up to a 30" overall length. Receiver comes drilled and tapped for scope mounting. Other details of this .22LR model include a manual 2-position crossbolt safety, sling swivel studs, fixed front sight, adjustable rear sight, and 2.5-lb. to 3-lb. trigger pull. The Keystone Sporting Arms Crickett single-shot rimfire rifle also proves an excellent choice for backpackers and trappers, or for pest and varmint control.

Noticed you edited manually cocking it,happens to me all the time.( I put a Paracord lanyard on the cocking knob)
My son has this rifle and out of the box it is defected. Only fires if one chambers the bolt forward heavy and fast ramming it forward and yet doing that only ignites half the time. Used all brands on the shelf, same outcome. Any suggestions on what I can do to make it fire reliably?

What’s the name of the red dot optic?
Please do not dry fire a .22 rimfire. 3 things may happen...#1 break the firing pin, #2 peen the chamber making it difficult to chamber or extract a round, #3 may flatten the firing pin to where it may not fire a round. Use an empty cartridge or a snap cap. Thank you for the video.
That's only an issue on old guns. Most firing pins dont touch the chamber face anymore.
