I want to make one thing clear about my motorcycle review/first ride videos... My intent with reviewing is NOT as a track rider, NOT as an expert, but as your everyday motorcycle enthusiast/rider excited to ride something new. If you'd like more technical reviews there are plenty of other UA-camrs who do them.

kitandrei I own a panigale. The newer models since 2015 barely have that many issues. I’ve had more screws in my tires than mechanical problems.
I have coffee in my nose now, thanks to "Pasta Power" and the Italian hand gesture

New subscriber here... I have the regular 959 and I love it! It was my first bike...and I mean... First Bike. I love that the power is there when you need it and as you said, they are very stable bikes so it was fairly easy for me to learn on it. Great review and I am looking forward to watching your future videos.

All you said is real - un add as you said feeling everything - I did my own set up on suspension based on My weight . It help a lot - first riding my helmet was shaking from the horrible highway out any single joint .

I'm on my second Monster and I can't imagine riding anything but a V engine. The sound and torque are simply amazing! I would like to see you riding an XDiavel. Keep up the good work! :)

Nice vid! There you go riding past my house in Danville again. Haha P.S. My 2020 Panigale V2 is much more comfortable, at least in street mode. Put her in race mode and it's a bit brutal for the street and definitely"whips your head back". Good stuff Kat!
Great review Kat 👍😃 the suspension maybe tune for the actual owner versus you I’m sure like you said it’s setup for the track 🏁🏁 my girl has (2) Ducati’s a 696 Monster and a 939 Hyperstrada she loves both in different ways 😋 would love to see the both of you do a review of adventure bikes maybe BMW1200 GSA or KTM superduke ... something to think about. Glad your still out there posting and putting together Moto content.
Another awesome review video Kat please don't beat me up but I kept hearing Snowcat in my head saying Ducati his way especially after his 2nd Superduke 1299 broke down on him. I've a subscriber of Snowcat for year's. You're so correct about the sexiness of the Ducati Panigale. Lola looks sexier then the Ducati Panigale hands down.

what is your height and inseam? Many have said that the new ducati panigales are friendlier to shorter people. Is there anything else done to the bike to make it lower?

Love this bike. Road it for a year without ear plugs and I think it definitely made me a bit deaf. Overall might go back to it. Pending if they come out with a V2 Corse model. Overall one of the best bikes I’ve ever owned.
If you like the 959 you should check out the Ducati 1098 or the 1198. Amazing bikes and they look so good! 😁

I would say review the V2 next to see the differences. I wasn't the biggest fan of the 959 on the road, track it was a lot of fun. To me it was too twitchy and just lacked the power I wanted to feel, it felt like all of the bad things the 1199 had got passed down to this bike. Good review though!
Nice bike...it really is style like a race bike and the colours and writing resemble marlboro..

7:09 linear power meaning its not like a giant turbo where theres lag lag nothing nothing then boooost of speed. You can even see it ona dyno its like a flat torque curve

Would like to see a review on a BMW R1250RS
I'd love you to ride the V2 and compare it to the 959. I've come to the V2 from a Daytona via an R6 and I find it to be a hopped up version of my beloved 675. Fast, comfortable, turns great and super sound

@4:16 ride the new panigale V2 or the new panigale v4 or the Ducati Street fighter v4 or the diavel 1260,monster 821, multistrada 1260... basically the whole new Ducati range is extremely comfortable,the nee panigales are as if not more comfortable than a s1krr

It wouldn't feel like such a raw beast if the roads in Cali didn't 100% suck ! Trust me I know , I live in San Jose and everything I drive is lowered or lifted & I feel every jacked up inch of the roed . Even my old CBR hates me when I take her out !!

Sounds like you have it in sport mode based on how you're describing the power delivery. You'll get all the hp but gradually. Race mode is another story. You have to try race mode.

Good ole Ducati heat is infamous. They make a good looking bike I can’t deny that but the heat problems and reliability issues and the sheer amount of cost to purchase and maintain makes it undesirable for me. I’m an in-line 4 groupie tho 🤷🏾♂️

I experienced today, shifting gear 2 to 1 to make a turn, and suddenly bike shutdown. Display went black. Anyone encountered this?

You can deff afford the bike. Maintence is the same, its the valve job that cost the most but thats most bikes. I finally got a 959 love the thing. You right about the rich label, i definitely cannot afford a 4+k full titanium exhaust.

@959 pilot when it comes to power is it almost as fast as a 1000cc bike or is the power more like a 750? I’ve heard disputes between this

This is my 2cents on Ducati: They look awesome, yes, but the there are more cons than pros on the brand which is weird since is more expansive than HD. If someone was like YO, wanna ride it? I'd be all heck yas dud. But I will never own one myself

Ride an 1199, power of a 1299 without any of the electronic nanny’s ={D. Nothing better than a bike with 100ft/lbs of torque and no anti-wheelie. Mine has been trying to kill me for 7 years.

So basically Sounds like it has great tires, that’s why it leans the way it does and it needs a flash and dyno to work out the heat issue and jerky ness down low.. cool bike, mostly overrated.. Bmw s1000rr is far better 👌
Always flash your Ducati, because of emissions its cluncky on the low rpms. The only thing you can do for the heat is maybe get a catless exhaust, so it goes better through. Ducati's dont like standing or driving slow, If you ride enough you dont feel the heat, only at lights. Thats what i would suggest (owning a Ducati Monster 1100) . I wouldnt say the BMW or Ducati is the best, because its more Like preference v2 (now v4) vs Inline 4. Also i like the hard setup from the Suspension from ducati's but many say they are to hard ^^
Zimbo172 suspension can be adjusted on any bike to be more stiff not really a Ducati thing .. a flash should make the fans come on earlier and run for a bit longer keeping the bike more cool

Ok it's a nice bike, but for what they are it's a Lot of Money, Don't get me wrong they are Beautiful, but when they good wrong they really Go Wrong, and they did suffer from Computer problems ! So is it a beginner bike? That is the real question......
That answer will always be different. I think with the option of power modes and all the electronics, it can be a safe beginner bike. That's with U.S. bias lol I still prefer the European way and start with low cc bikes and build your way up. Most people who I've seen ride large cc bikes probably cant even use the full potential of a ninja400 on the track.
I once rode Kawasaki z1000 stit it’s scary , I am more comfortable with the 600 cc segment
