the Ducati 959 Panigale has a 157 Ps of power which is a lot more than any other supersport bike out there but quite less than the liter bikes. but thanks to the L twin engine the power is available right on the mid range and you don't have to rev it to the moon to feel all that power.
with the midrange and the 107 Nm of torque the motorcycle feels even more strong and manic past 6000 RPM. the weight distribution is 50 50 and not front biased which means a little less front end feel but a lot of stability with nice light front that doesn't tax out the rider on freeway touring. the fairing is also really nice and blocks off windblast from the rider and provides contact points to anchor yourself to the bike.
the mad heating problem is the only major issue that we found and oh! it wheeled uncontrollably sometimes and lands quite harshly on the tarmac (steering damper is there to save from that)

The heat issue is a good thing if you live in a cold country.
Loved your overall review. I wanted to understand in terms of ownership and easy of ride on the streets. Is it better than the Daytona and zx10r? I am 6.1 and 90kgs
The overheating makes it almost impossible for city rides, apart from that I find its better for taller people as the Daytona is cramped and its lighter than the zx10r so you get less tired on the saddle. Strictly for highways in proper riding gear (or else heating will be felt) and for track ofcourse.

Okay, so a bit of a weird question. Been your subscriber for a long time, and I've seen your love for sports bikes. Why did you go for the Duke 390 then, and not the RC?
I bought my bike when it was released in 2013, 1 year before release of RC got released, I love naked bikes as well and I own one motorcycle, I feel if you don't have multiple bikes then having a naked makes more sense because its easy to tour on it.

Vinay Kumar manual says use over 90 so normal petrol is great
We use normal fuel, most of the superbikes are doing well on normal fuel apart from the Kawasaki Zx10R
