@@TheCod3r Hello 🤗 Could you please tell, can i replace 75dp159 with TDP158? You will really help with the answer, i am here stuck with the problem. I changed it for the customer and it worked fine for Xbox One S. But after 2 weeks the console is back to me with same problem. Just want to make sure i could change it like that. Rely on your HUGE experience Sir 💪
Great Video. Appreciate your information of how much temperature and air flow you use. One question though: My wick won't absorb solder like yours. Is it a quality issue or what may cause this?
@@TheCod3r Thanks!!!! I used 450 C for TDP, but my chip swelled after 10 seconds in the airflow. I removed the bubble of plactic from the top and soldered it , it seems to work, but it's looks weird. I think taht was a fake. 0_0
No mate normally if the console turns off after around a minute it's not recognised the hard drive, so generally the hard drive will be bad and need replacing
@@TheCod3r Thankyou for your reply. I tried doing an ssd upgrade after repasting the cpu and new pads fitting. I had the sdd working fine updated and had stuff downloading when after an hour i noticed the screen had froze. I switched it off and on again and just lights up and then switches off with no picture appearing. So if i use a new ssd drive - that should fix my issue? I had thought I'd burnt out the memory because maybe the new heat sink clay pads didnt fit right. 1.5mm. I also thought id burnt out the 4k sinq ic and was going to replace that.
Thanks very much, unfortunately for most the repairs I do the company I receive them from wouldn't allow only 1440p repairs so I'd not be able to do that :(
Yo question idk if anyone is going to see this but if the retimer chip is bad is it still able to show a image of the Xbox because it does have most symptoms but it does rarely show and Xbox message about an error
Hello, can I get a 0.1uF capacitor supplying 3.3v to TDP158 ? Located on the Xbox One X motherboard at C50? can you help me out here, don't have access to parts.
Hey Phil! Nice video and Perfect Job! I got Xbox one x with replaced retimer ic by owner.. One Pad was missing.. I’ve put jumper on it, and replace fresh TDP158 IC. Xbox alway beeps on, the light didn’t pulsing and after 5 sek It beeps off. Any idea ? Cant find anything :-/
Thanks mate, unfortunately that could be pretty much anything. Is it possibly overheating? If not the original owner may have damaged a ram module during the replacement
Excelllent video. Thanks for explaining everything as you went along.
I should really start binge watching your videos again, instead of bugging you on messenger lol, your help is invaluable ty mate

Excellent repair very informative a pleasure to watch :)
Great repair :).
Thank you! What temperature do you use for soldering the new TDP?
Generally around 440c to 460c should work fairly well, but anything over 400 would work, just may take more time

Nice video thanks.
Is it normal for the console to switch itself off after a minute or so with this particular fault?

I had made a way to by pass that NFD ic let me know if u need it . Only catch is that it goes only to 1440p .
