Good to see the retiners don't test as short. Have a one s that has flickering video and audio and only works in 480. Have seen an ebay listing that seller confirms the 158 works on all versions of Xbox one. Hope that is the case. Will check datasheet pinout first before replacing but they're currently a little cheaper than the 159's from what I've seen.

For me there were only certain textures inside games like the grass in Forza horizon that were flickering purple. I switched out the HDMI cable cause I still used the old one from my Xbox one and now things aren't stabbing me in the eyes anymore
At first I thought the flickering was the wear and tear on my xbox one x, but it's actually my TV is dying. It flickers when my xbox is not on. Sometimes I unplug my TV for a bit and replug it in. This only stops the flicking temperary.
I am picking o e of them up tomorrow and I also have a all digital one that turns on and off that I will send you from the usa. I am looking forward In doing business with you.
Is it possible to get an xbox series x brand new with this part already faulty? Mine is having issues since I bought it. I tried different cables, ports, settings and no jam.
Cheers mate. The flux I find just blows away and it's kind of wasteful but the pre heating isn't really needed especially for removing chips. When removing a dead chip I tend to just blast it with heat at either 460 or 460 Celsius because it's dead anyway so i don't really care if I destroy the chip 😁

Talking about hard drives can you just clone a working xbox hard drive to upgrade it or do you have to hook it up to a pc and format it and then load the xbox o/s with a flash drive?

iv'e got a 1x board here were someone has had ago . they blew off r31 and r32. does anyone know what are the values of these resistors.

Don't need to it's faster. The ground plane even on the x isn't that bad.

Got a one s has display but no sound and randomly goes to 480 display and say it's in DVI with HDMI connected.
Hey bud does adding a ssd to the series s make a difference
Not a huge difference but it does help loading times of games
