Theoretically everything that works in 2020 will work in 2024 with minimal to no changes from third party devs. In reality I suspect there will be a flurry of minor updates coming out between 19th November and Christmas for anything that doesn't work or has bugs. If you buy 2020 now, I think you will quickly regret it.
Glad I bought the Fénix a 320 and 319 321 expansion while on a discount 😀. Wish fenix would put throttle detent calibration in the EFB and take it out of the mcdu and have it like FBW does
I think by not giving Fenix access to MS2024 they're shooting themselves in the foot because I certainly won't move across to it until the a320 is available and working well

Well since I am starving for a good A330 I will surely get FS24 as soon as it releases, because the default one doesn't look all too bad. I may keep FS2020 for the Fenix, but really only for the Fenix. But who knows the A330 and especially the upcoming "pure" ini A350 might ease the wait until Fenix have transitioned to FS24. But Fenix was pretty much all I flew in FS2020 as soon as it was released. They have set the new top standard for flight simulation and I can't wait what they bring next. What a time to be a flight simmer.
Sadly I think my PC would require a big upgrade for 2024 and I remember as one of the first to get 2020, without much PC knowledge at that time. I remember the months of frustration of bugs on most updates, from the sim and Navigation units...One month the sim would work flawlessly then they would change something on an update and a month or so of frustration......So happy to wait a bit I think for 2024
I’m getting 2024 but will split my time between the two 2020 will stay on my machine for a while until Fenix, PMDG, Ejets, iFly, and just some stability fixes.
I’m gonna stay with 2020 for probably about another year. I have a feeling that things are not going to be what they think they’re going to be and there’s gonna be a lot of add-on aircraft that’s not going to be immediately switched over. And I think that Sobo is gonna have to do some work on the code to get things right off the batso I would say probably close to a year but eventually I’ll switch over.
Another great update from the team, do you know why I'm getting the pilot & Co pilot visible in the cockpit. I only get them if I use the livery Fenix livery manager... 😢. Thanks for yet another very useful video.
