So many memories, man. Xbox 360 will always be one of my favorite consoles and the XBLA is a large reason why. It's a shame MS didn't go farther with bc before the shutdown, so many banger games are (in an official, legal sense anyway) lost to time. Definitely going to be looking into sending my 360 E in to get modded.
I've heard that those models are the hardest to mod, if you still have a Slim 360 though that one may be easier to mod. Double check Bird! I think your house is still in my Minecraft world, did you notice tails86 house in the video?
I spent 2 weekends & every evening all last week checking all the DLC I have downloaded over the years, as well as all the DLC & digital games I wanted to have on my 500GB hard drive before the Store closes. It was dozens of hours but I went through every single game I have & checked for good single-player DLC, then purchased all of it. I will make a new video soon showing & talking about all of it bud.
I haven’t seen an update on your community posts, my wife and I wish you well Dean. Really happy to hear from you and I hope all is well on your end. Was trying to download single player stuff but most of the content for games I really wanted I either already owned or have in physical form via remasters and GOTY editions. Thankfully those Backwards Compatible games still have their dlc available for now. Couldn’t have imagine just how much of a pain it was doing all that though. Can’t wait for your next video Dean!
@ScorpioCesarcade Thanks bud, I really appreciate your good will & support my friend! Aside from my bade health issues I'm currently working on getting resolved, my father in law had a bad fall & his Dementia got so bad we had to put him in a assisted living nursing home, which has been a nightmare. Next weekend is my first chance at making a video God willing.
Damn bro, right in the god damn feels. I remember playing Minecraft on 360 with my old school mates, we used to have these big weekend sleepovers playing Halo and Minecraft. Hard to believe that was well over 10 years ago now.
Where does the time go!? My friends and I used to jump on Xbox Live late almost every day to chat and game together, now we barely get to do it at all. I miss those times, Xbox Live’s party chat was unmatched.
Its the DLC and Compatibility packs that are the issue. Those being gone makes some games unplayable or shorted by a bit. Castlevania LoS 2 had a expansion that for some reason isnt on xbox one/x, test drive unlimited had mandatory downloads needed to play the game, and even lost planet 2 has a map pack that isn't on series x for some reason.
Damn. I snubbed Lords of shadow 2 DLC when I realized it was backwards compatible not realizing it all wasn’t on the new console. I have a feeling going forward there’s gonna be so much regret on what we didn’t get. Yeah it rhymes but it wasn’t intentional.
Truly not suprised by this, it's been awhile since I booted up Test Drive Unlimited so I'm not sure if it's even still playable. Hopefully it is cause I loved that game. As for Lords of Shadows 2, that is very unfortunate to hear. I also heard games like DOA5 and DOA5 Ultimate had compatibility downloads that make the game unplayable if not downloaded in time.
Man...I remember as a teenager all the times I played SOTN on the 360 cause I didn't have a PS3 at the time so I couldn't play the PS1 version. And I remember playing Harmony of Despair solo because no one wanted to pick that game up lol
I don’t even remember if Serg and I played HOD together! The PS1 version will always be a holy grail of mine but the PS4 version with Rondo is also a great alternative!
Fantastic video, Cesar!!! Great list of games here. I believe I played Dust: An Elysian Tail on PS4 digital. I remember being so surprised by how beautiful and fun that game was. I never owned an Xbox console, but I remember my roommate at the time purchased one just so he could play Tales of Vesperia! 🤣
Queen Shelly! Tales of Vesperia on the 360 was my first introduction to the Tales of series! I remember playing the demo at first, not being impressed and deleting it only to redownload it and give it another shot and falling in love with it! Dust is an amazing game I believe it was developed by one guy!
It’s been a while good sir. I remember all the times I woke up the day live arcade games were released, I think it was Wednesdays, loved downloading the demos and then making an impulse purchase for said game. Now I don’t do as much impulse purchases, though I still love downloading games nowadays that are small like cult of the lamb and edf6.
I vaguely remember they had a specific day when Live Arcade titles would go up! Remember buying up Microsoft points?! Those were the days along with the summer of arcade releases like Hydro Thunder Hurricane. I miss those times man
Good News Though If You Own Your Game Disc Of A Specific Game Let's Say Black Ops 1 You Could Still Get The DLC For It And It Offline With Friends Or Bots
I own "Afterburner Climax" & "OutRun Online Arcade", the latter is a HD remaster of the very good & expensive "OutRun 2006 Coast to Coast", which many don't realize.
I grabbed at least 20 games before the shutdown , i have a rgh slim w 2,500 games including arcade/indie/emulators and a vanilla slim. I grew up w this thing since 7 years old w my brother/ dad playing prime cod zombies. RIP Xbox 360 you will always be my favorite ❤️
You know what's annoying, when you goto download history or purchase history on the 360 and it doesn't show you everything, feels like it's missing some things, and has no sorting method to make it easy to download multiple items in one go. Imagine that scrolling through over 1000 items this is even DLC on downoload history. Fucked up innit? Someone should sue Microsoft for monetising the end of the xbox360, I'm sure they stealing from us with all these Taxes on top of the games and DLC items. Not to mention not being able to view all your themes properly now it's shutdown. Well time to hack Xbox360 then screw you M$
@@ScorpioCesarcade Ditto damn trailers and all these videoes and useless demos that you also have the demos full games on top of that. What it should be like is pick the game, then within that game have included DLC and whatever and let you put a check next to what you want to download, so you can download multiple items. on top of that they shoujld have an option when copying to say no to all.
@@GeeksOfRage1 Just the store, servers for games may or may not be up still depending on the publisher. Lots of Ubisoft game’s servers are dead for example.

I'm playing my xbox 360 slim black every day it is fun. 😁 😂 😀 😊

It only works if the game is backwards compatible with current day Xboxes. The older COD games are still buyable along with their DLC thankfully.
I thank you for taking about the Xbox 360 video game it has been fun.😁 😂 😀
I still got one more Xbox 360 focused game pickups video in the works!

Two games that make me highly consider modding my Xbox. Such a shame they never got physical releases.
Awesome video man! That era of gaming to me had the perfect balance between physical and digital games.
Commented again because I thought my comment from earlier didn't go through lol.
You're right, you had so many great digital games but so many more physical games to make up for them.
Its a sad sad day. I remember playing Castle Crashers with my buddy.
Thankfully Castle Crashers has been released again for modern day platforms. I still need to play that one sometime.

Agreed, thank you Xbox 360! 🫡
Never saw After Burner Climax before, seems like i missed a good one
We both did unfortunately, another reason why I'll probably mod this thing.
The 360 is easily the most fun I’ve ever had with online gaming. We had some good times on there.
I'd argue we had the best times man, the amount of hours we spent in party chat alone.
Fortunately, we were informed that the store was about to close 1 year before.
So we had time to do our shopping. 😃
Exactly, more than enough time so I'm not even mad. Just sad to see it go.
Yet another blow to games preservation. A shame.
Indeed it is a shame Zoo, thank goodness for physical games was still a strong option during the 7th Gen.
I'm buying xbox 360 video games once a month that I want.😊
Smart move!
You are a cool nice person.
Did they just shut down the store, or did they kill the servers as well? So many great games that i had off the market place!
