I vaguely remember they had a specific day when Live Arcade titles would go up! Remember buying up Microsoft points?! Those were the days along with the summer of arcade releases like Hydro Thunder Hurricane. I miss those times man

They really did them dirty. Just shutting them down without letting finish their new issue. At the very least they could’ve said two more issues and make the second one a farewell issue. I doubt it would’ve cost them THAT much.

@@ScorpioCesarcade Agreed. Corporations have a fun way of doing that and even some businesses. My wife worked for a company that was obviously going under and they kept telling the employees No don;'t worry... everything is fine... Then one day they just said hey, today is the last day we're gonna be open.

It really was, and going back to these issues is still a joy flipping through these pages. I need to buy up more of these classics before they’re all gone.

Yeah, if it was in the more recent years then I don’t really blame you. Their issues during the early 2000-2010 issues were peak.

I really don't know who was to blame for that but I'm always going to blame Gamestop because I emailed their customer service about it and they got back to me like a couple of years later.

I don't blame you for cancelling, their benefits suck anyways. Game Informer was always great because they didn't focus on just one console. And being an owner of all the consoles of those generations made them the easy choice.

The levels of hype during the initial teaser trailer for Mass Effect 3 was absolute peak for me. I was as hyped for it as I was Halo 2. It's hard for me to remember when I've felt that level of hype since.

Really now? You’ll miss out on a bunch of games. It felt like a good majority of games with an online component had achievements you can only get by playing online multiplayer.

@@GeeksOfRage1 Just the store, servers for games may or may not be up still depending on the publisher. Lots of Ubisoft game’s servers are dead for example.

It only works if the game is backwards compatible with current day Xboxes. The older COD games are still buyable along with their DLC thankfully.

Damn. I snubbed Lords of shadow 2 DLC when I realized it was backwards compatible not realizing it all wasn’t on the new console. I have a feeling going forward there’s gonna be so much regret on what we didn’t get. Yeah it rhymes but it wasn’t intentional.

Truly not suprised by this, it's been awhile since I booted up Test Drive Unlimited so I'm not sure if it's even still playable. Hopefully it is cause I loved that game. As for Lords of Shadows 2, that is very unfortunate to hear. I also heard games like DOA5 and DOA5 Ultimate had compatibility downloads that make the game unplayable if not downloaded in time.

Yeah, having to scroll through years of downloads is ridiculous and makes me regret downloading useless things like trailers.

@@ScorpioCesarcade Ditto damn trailers and all these videoes and useless demos that you also have the demos full games on top of that. What it should be like is pick the game, then within that game have included DLC and whatever and let you put a check next to what you want to download, so you can download multiple items. on top of that they shoujld have an option when copying to say no to all.

Thankfully Castle Crashers has been released again for modern day platforms. I still need to play that one sometime.

Queen Shelly! Tales of Vesperia on the 360 was my first introduction to the Tales of series! I remember playing the demo at first, not being impressed and deleting it only to redownload it and give it another shot and falling in love with it! Dust is an amazing game I believe it was developed by one guy!

I don’t even remember if Serg and I played HOD together! The PS1 version will always be a holy grail of mine but the PS4 version with Rondo is also a great alternative!

Two games that make me highly consider modding my Xbox. Such a shame they never got physical releases.
