Cheyenne is the only one who cooked hers right and included the broth. The way she described it also really makes me want to try it myself. I'm glad she won because she deserves it and the ones criticizing hers harshly really have no room to talk when their ramen looked drier than the Sahara desert.

Cook the ramen al dente, drain 90% of the water off, add seasoning, add cheese, add tuna fish, and add peas. After a couple minutes of mixing it completely, turn it off. The liquid from the peas and tuna will add more water to it, but not even where it becomes mushy.

How do none of these people know ramen is supposed to have broth.
This is my ramen recipe if anyone wants to try:
Broth: boil water and add 1-3 tsp of old bay seasoning and add the flavor seasoning packet.
Then add your ramen in, the reason you add the seasoning in first is to make sure that the ramen absorbs all of the flavor. Btw, make sure that the water only just covers the ramen so as to avoid too much broth and the need to remove some because broth is flavor.
Then make two eggs with salt and pepper, sunny side up and covered to cook the top with steam, and cook it in oil, only remove once the top is white and not like jelly but make sure the yolks are still runny.
After chop up some scallions or Chinese chives and add them in, make sure the are thin to maximize surface area and therefore flavor.
Drizzle sriracha over the egg but don’t add too much because too much spice dulls overall flavor.
And for the sauce: mix 1 part honey, 1 part sesame oil, and 3 parts soy sauce, feel free to add chili oil as well for more flavor.

definitely. i work at a ramen spot and they be simmering their broth for 50-70 HOURS. broth is definitely the make or break for authentic ramen

@alyzeh haider usually a simple broth is cooked/simmered at a minimum of 4-8 hours depending on the protein or what you want to extract exactly. Past 12 hours all the flavours and essentials are in the broth already, 40 hours is really pushing it unless your chef is adding more to the broth like aromatics or protein. But otherwise there's no point. Even the legendary Sano didn't make his broth that long I assume.

Cook your ramen like you would and after it gets done crack an egg into it turn off the heat and cover the egg with noodles set a timer for 3 mins.
While you are waiting for the egg to cook put chili paste garlic the white part of green onions and the seasoning packet in a non stick pan on medium low heat let it cook for about 15 seconds then add any type of cheese once the cheese starts to stick to the pan add milk slowly while mixing until the consistency is that of a thick sauce. By this time the egg should be done cooking. Take the egg out of the ramen and put the ramen in the sauce pan without the broth and mix the sauce in. Put the ramen in a bowl and while you wait for it to cool fry some ham once the ham is done place the ham on one side of the bowl. Cut open the egg and place it on the other side. Then sprinkle the green parts of green onion in the middle and enjoy
There are also different ways you can cook the egg, soft boiled, sunny side up/fried, or just crack it in and stir it in
This is how I make shin ramen as an 11 year old:
Step 1. Get a pot with water and let it boil
Step 2. When the water starts boiling add your ramen
Step 3. Halfway through the cooking process put the seasoning packet (obviously use something to mix)
Step 4. Right before it’s almost done get cheese (any kind u want) and put a lot over your ramen DONT MIX IT!
Step 5. Get a lid and cover the ramen
Step 6. Set it to the side until the cheese is all melted 😋
Step 7. Add any other toppings u want I like to put boiled eggs with mine
Step 8. Enjoy 😊 ❤
