I was beginning to think yous got lost. Amazing what a few hours difference made to the snow line. The plateau was completely covered in snow when we were up. And that wind up top was piercing cold, ooft! Another good video guys. Thanks for the shout out. Tony
Pleasure to meet you Tony! Always great to stop and chat to people, love a bit of banter. The wind was something else, not enough to blow you over but strong enough to make it very unpleasant.
Lovely hike but more importantly Summit Snacks is back! (with funky bassline too) Being unfamiliar with tea cakes, I have to go with that mini Apple Pie!
Awesome video guys. Really enjoyed that. I was going to do that munro a few weeks ago but the weather was rotten. Both summit snacks were not my cup of tea. But my wife chose for me lol. She says you canny beat a Tunnocks Tea Cakes. She also said you can never just have one 🤣. Looking forward to your next adventure. Am hoping to go up to Torridon in the next couple of the weeks if this weather gets better. Fingers crossed it does. ATVB Alan
@HighlandHikers no problem. Love watching your videos. I was actually saying to my wife the other day those highland hikers haven't had a video up for a while. Then bingo lol. Meant to say I done stuc a'Chroin via beinn each about a month ago. Really enjoyable walk. I've got a video on it if you like to check it out. Not as professional as your videos lol.
Wowww I can totally feel the adventure spirit in this video! ⛰ Loved the little Lord of the Rings moment too 😆 Also, big points for the snow goggles idea - sometimes looking a little silly is worth it for that extra comfort! 💪 Curious, did either of your summit snacks give you that extra energy boost for the trek back? I'm always on the lookout for good hiking fuel! 🥪
Glad you enjoyed it! We do enjoy some Lord of the Rings banter and try to shoehorn in some random ones from time to time. Have a look at our Meall nan Tarmachan for another 😂 the goggles were fantastic, could see where we were going and stayed warm! As for the snacks they did alright, however the apple pie doesn’t travel well unfortunately.

You’ll just need to come back over and try one then won’t you!
Beautiful video. Thank you for sharing. Subbed & 👍63
Thanks and welcome
Tunnock's Tea Cake this time, guys (although I don't think I've ever had one). Thanks for uploading. 🏴🏔👍
Add it to the bucket list to do! You won’t be disappointed.
Nice to see me and my big backpack making an appearance at 4:40ish 😂 cracking video lads. The bog that day was no joke!
That was some backpack! You could have carried Dougie inside of it and still had space left! Was good to meet you
@@HighlandHikers haha aye you’re no wrong! Likewise gentlemen 🤝
Hi Guys, great adventure, apologies Alistair, but Douglas wins the summit snacks this time out.
All the best gents
Dave 😀⛰🥾🏴🏴
I’ve upped my game for the next few hikes. The next one I was particularly pleased with

Hope Torridon is excellent and the weather improves! As soon as Dougs produced the teacake I knew I was beaten sadly. Thanks for watching Alan.

I imagine that would be a very enjoyable approach to the mountain, possibly better than the traditional one. Will give the video a watch!
