Don’t often comment on UA-cam but have to make an exception here. What a warm, delightful and interesting video. What a lovely bunch running the station. A gem. Well done Vicky and Geoff.
You have incredible taste, Avery. I also have fallen for this beautiful spot. It reminds me of some of the National Park lodges I've visited here in the States.
Every bit as good as Michael Portillos BBC series with a lot more enthusiasm to boot. The gang at the station house were naturals and I have now placed this on my bucket list, along with marrying Sandra Bullock. Brilliant job guys! 👍🏻
Portillo's docs are fine but I watch them despite him. But Geoff and Vicky are a delight to watch and they really add something special to these films.
What a wonderful Sunday afternoon treat! Thank you Vicki and Geoff, i very much enjoyed seeing your great visit back to Corrour. And it is great to see more content being added to 'All The Stations', just fantastic.
This one is a keeper, mate. It's a great behind-the-scenes look at the "back of the house" of a small British restaurant with unique delivery and service challenges. And keeping the staff happy and sane while living and working in such close proximity in the middle of nowhere. (Shona was cute, too, but I digress.) I can see a BBC reality show in the making... Well done, Jeff and Vicki. I felt like I was back in the restaurant industry, and thoroughly enjoyed your storytelling.
I was actually here not that long after you guys filmed this. The wonderful staff were so kind to share that I had missed you guys by like a week. :') I've been eagerly awaiting to see this one go live because of that. I also got the rare chance to drive into the station since the line had been shutdown for repairs but the Corrour Estate had opened the access road to visitors staying in the Signal Box because of the extended shutdown so that the Station House could still get a few visitors. The view driving in is still one of the most breathtaking (and harrowing) drives I've ever done. And despite it raining all 3 days I was there, the entire trip was an absolute delight. The staff at the Station House are absolutely lovely and it was so absolutely serene and calming to relax in the Signal Box with a nice pint of cider and take in the views while listening to the rain and wind roll through the Highlands. Well worth flying to the UK and then having to rent a car and drive up from Glasgow. I truly hope I can return soon for another wonder stay (and take the train to visit this time)!
Watched this video and had to visit, did so last September just for an afternoon and glad to see Shona was still there. What a wonderful place, had an awesome late lunch and got some great pics from the old signal box. Next time I will definitely stay overnight. Awesome place !!!
I think this is my favourite thing you guys have ever done. Shona, Katie and Jo are so much fun and Steven has outdone himself with the music this time! More of this kind of thing please.
Nice to see someone giving credit to the brilliant Steven Francis, composer and arranger of the music for the entire All The Stations project. Tip o' the hat from a professional sound designer, Steven!
One of the most enjoyable videos you two have ever made, and I have watched ALL of them, some multiple times! What shines through is your obvious affection for the place and how much it means to you both. I am so glad you gave me a chance to see Corrour and the team there, it is out of reach for me to visit, but you have both brought it alive for me. I only hope that this video gets the views and widespread admiration it deserves. Thank you so much, Geoff and Vicki, I'm off to Amazon now to order your two new books, to add to the Railway Adventures book in my library! P.S. Sowerby Bridge Station has the fantabulous "Jubilee Refreshment Rooms", a train fan's dream, railway memorabilia, trains to spot, real ale to drink and the finest bacon butties to eat. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Stayed here after watching the first ALS video on it. Stunning scenery, cosy rooms, lovely staff, excellent food. Don't know what else to say without it sounding like I'm sponsored. This makes me want to go back.
Great documentary! You're both naturals when it comes to presenting. And a big 'hello' to the very welcoming Corrour station house team - a must-visit experience!
Fantastic! You two are just the most natural, enthusiastic of presenters....and not afraid to get your hands dirty ( literally!). What a place....I intend to go there eventually! If you are doing Barry Links, least used, give me a shout Geoff. Would like to do a follow up article from your all the stations one I had published. Cheers Garry
Brilliantly well done video! Geoff and Vicki you are such a wonderful & warm couple! The staff are really lovely! I can't tell you how wonderful this was to watch! Thank you...take care!
How can anyone dislike this? How??? It was brilliant. Well done you two. Staff at the station seem like a great bunch of people. I think the Corrour marketing board should give you some commission! I bet that accommodation will be booked solid for months after this. Top notch video! 👍👍👍👍👍
This is a trip of a lifetime (if you’re from a different part of the world). This station is definitely on my bucket list! Thank you so much Geoff and Vickie for showing the world this amazing place!
You beautiful people. Thanks for bringing a favorite bit of Scotland to us ex-pats around the world. Travelled through Corrour several times and never stopped. Next time I’m back in the UK I’ll make a point of it.
Loved the video. I now live 10,000 miles away from Scotland but last time I was back I went to Crianlarich and waited for a train to come in - just like I used to do when I was a little boy. Happy memories.
That and more. What Geoff knows how to do is to capture breathtaking visual images, add commentary that's moving because it's somehow both down-to-earth and spiritual at the same time, and accent the whole thing with delicate applications of appropriate music (here, the brilliant Steven Francis theme which Geoff commissioned especially for this project.) The result is pure poetry on the screen. Geoff knows how to do this. And he DOES it. And he keeps on doing it. For himself and for all of us. Lucky, lucky us!
What a great video i love behind the scenes stuff its a pretty remote great place to visit when i eventually retire. Thanks geoff & Vicki best video so far ive watched. Marc In Bletchley Towers
That was amazing to watch. I used to volunteer at Authur's Tea Bar at Leyburn Station on Wensleydale Railway,🧀 which makes a fascinating video to watch. I will put Corrour on my Bucket List of Places to Visit. I am beginning to think you two will have to do another book soon with all the things you have done since 2017. Well Done Again, Choose Corrour.😊👍🏴
We went there in the fall of 2018 based solely on your "All the Stations" video. When Geoff said in the video "You have to come here", I ran upstairs and said to my wife "Amity, we HAVE to go here" and, well, we did. And hopefully soon we will go back :)
Can I like this again? Geoff posted about this on Twitter, and I'd completely forgotten it. And yes, Geoff I enjoyed watching it AGAIN. Thank you for reminding me about the beauty of this area.
A thoroughly enjoyable video. In fact it was so much fun to watch, I could have been mistaken for watching a TV documentary from BBC Scotland or STV (Scotland's ITV).
I will echo what so many people in comments are already saying. This place is stunning, the people are warm and lovely, Geoff and Vicky do a stellar job of showing us around. I work with a number of different UA-camrs in a few different genres but All the Stations and Geoff's personal channel are two of my favourites to watch in recent times. Unashamedly enthusiastic about what they love and make content on, it shows in their delivery and personalities and generally just a great time :). Thanks guys!!
Absolutley love this video. I am staying at Inverness for a week end of March (bus from Inverness to Fort William). Even if it going through i have to to try this route. Thank you for a video made with love.
My favorite All the Stations video. I've decided that next summer I'll spend the night at the station. I really hope to see Bruce Springsteen next year, but Corrour is at the top of my bucket list now.
Geoff and Vicki Thank you for lifting the lid on Corrour station! Beautiful area, I've been through on the sleeper, didn't realise about the café and the B&B. It's absolutely gorgeous. The people who work there are amazing - they work hard! Gotta get off there one day.
What a beautiful place..stay a night over there before heading off to Glascow...whenever we can get back to traveling again!! Thank you guys for doing this documentary on Corrour. It was/is beautiful.
That is one place on my bucket list if I have time before the end. I have only ever gone through but never stopped. My dream has always been to live in the Highlands, miles away from anywhere.
What a wonderful documentary; fabulous drone footage, great people, amazing location and most of all, the icing on the cake, Geoff and Vicki. Corrour is now on my list of ‘must visits like - I have been through the station but never stopped!
Just recently I found out about Geoff and Vicki. What a professionally made documentaries! Everything is so interesting I can’t stop watching. I think I need a rehab 😊
Kia ora team, love watching all your videos (always the first clicked when new subscriptions come in). This for me would be one of your best, thank you :)
I've got to say...that was one of the most enjoyable videos I've ever watched on youtube. Lovely people, great location and stunning scenery. Enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you.
Great video folks. Geoff, I love the drone b-roll shots. Vicki, you’re a natural on-camera presenter that also exudes enthusiasm to the subject (Geoff, also very good 👍) Although I live in Canada, was born in the UK and miss many of the sights and sounds you capture.
Wow, this is a truly amazing video and more of these should be made you did a fantastic job working at the station. It was that you were able to show us so much can't wait for your next behind the scenes.
I always love hearing about Corrour! What an amazing team who clearly enjoys their job. Thanks for this peek behind the scenes. The logistics are fascinating to watch. Oh, and the venison burger is delicious. Best burger I have ever had, definitely! #ChooseCorrour

10/10 thumbed up because of the dog in the video. (And partly also because of it being quite entertaining and well-made in general. But mainly because of the dog.)
Though I think you hear it frequently, I don't think this is being said enough: Vicki and Geoff, you are wonderful people!
correct
I think I will 2nd that comment. They Really Are.👍
I'll third it.
Fourth here!
Fifth here!!!
Don’t often comment on UA-cam but have to make an exception here. What a warm, delightful and interesting video. What a lovely bunch running the station. A gem. Well done Vicky and Geoff.
The drone footage of Corrour will never cease to amaze me!
Corrour, the station I adopted during All the Stations for helping out on Kickstarter. It’s a beautiful and remote station. It stands out. I love it
ha ha! knew you'd love it Avery! :-)
You have incredible taste, Avery. I also have fallen for this beautiful spot. It reminds me of some of the National Park lodges I've visited here in the States.
Why did the RR company open a station in such a desolate (but beautiful!) place?
Every bit as good as Michael Portillos BBC series with a lot more enthusiasm to boot. The gang at the station house were naturals and I have now placed this on my bucket list, along with marrying Sandra Bullock. Brilliant job guys! 👍🏻
Russell Gray just read your comment, just burst out laughing, great stuff,
Funny that, Sandra and I are headed to Corrour for our honeymoon
Portillo's docs are fine but I watch them despite him. But Geoff and Vicky are a delight to watch and they really add something special to these films.
Vicki is a natural at voice overs. When does she complete her training as a barista? Great video as usual. Kind regards.
As Geoff said “cute dogs, thumbs up” you now have a like from me 😂
Not just any old dog but a Golden Retriever.
Susie is the guard I had on my second visit to Corrour! It's fabulous to see her here! 😁😁
Everyone there seems to be so much fun!
Susie has been my guard many times. I live in Fort William and use the line frequently. She’s amazing!
Had her in jan last year, she played walking in the air as we crossed the Glenfinnan viaduct 🤣
What a wonderful Sunday afternoon treat! Thank you Vicki and Geoff, i very much enjoyed seeing your great visit back to Corrour. And it is great to see more content being added to 'All The Stations', just fantastic.

Absolutely brilliant documentary by an exceptionally talented couple, many thanks for sharing.

@@AllTheStations I was so glad to get to, my visit there was my favorite part of the trip!
I smiled for 27 minutes straight. I love the energy
Watched this video and had to visit, did so last September just for an afternoon and glad to see Shona was still there. What a wonderful place, had an awesome late lunch and got some great pics from the old signal box. Next time I will definitely stay overnight. Awesome place !!!
Possibly the best I've seen at far, I'll definitely be visiting next summer. Fabulous video. Thanks Geoff and Vicki. 😀

What great advertisement for Corrour station. I think post Corona they are going to have to take on more staff. Vicky and Geoff, a big thank you!
Having worked on British Rail(1968) have just found Geoff & Vicki rail travels. A walk down memory lane - thank you.
What lovely staff and location. Must go one day
Christ! A UA-cam video with no nastiness in the comments, how lovely!
What an amazing beautiful place, a great video, makes me want to go there!
Although I did note the 45 dislikes...
What is wrong with some people?
One of the most enjoyable videos you two have ever made, and I have watched ALL of them, some multiple times! I’m going there end of October 2021. If this video is anything to go by, then I can’t wait.
Corrour truly is a beautiful place and again shows how railways lead to amazing places.
Brilliantly well done video! Geoff and Vicki you are such a wonderful & warm couple! The staff are really lovely! I can't tell you how wonderful this was to watch! Thank you...take care!

Loved the quietness, remoteness, & quaintness of this video!
This is a trip of a lifetime (if you’re from a different part of the world). This station is definitely on my bucket list! Thank you so much Geoff and Vickie for showing the world this amazing place!
Fantastic. Would love to see more like that. Behind the scenes, or a 24hrs at a station sort of thing
It would be real cool to see these alternate between super busy terminal stations and remote boutique stations like this one.
Cannot get enough of watching Geoff and Vickies video’s always look forward to the next one

You really do...it's a magical place.
Trainspotting soundtrack from Wolf Alice come to mind, Great video Geoff and Vicki!
I love going to Corrour the staff at the Station Cafe are so friendly and the scenery is stunning.
I think I have just possibly seen the best piece of video I have ever seen on You Tube
I just finished watching a 27 minute ad and I enjoyed every second. Great video!
"Just turn on the coffee machine - no pressure" brilliant.
Stunningly beautiful, sounds a bit cliche I know, but truly. Thanks very much for the look.
I very much enjoyed the trainspotting reference
watch this one then ... ua-cam.com/video/ALd-ApLeIxQ/v-deo.html

Excellent Great catch and video Thanks for sharing your work!
This has to be my favourite video on this channel. I've been inspired, so when I have the time and the funds I will travel from London up to Corrour.
That place changed owners maybe 9 years or so ago. I stayed there for three nights back in 2008 and it was an ambition fulfilled.
We went there in the fall of 2018 based solely on your "All the Stations" video. When Geoff said in the video "You have to come here", I ran upstairs and said to my wife "Amity, we HAVE to go here" and, well, we did. And hopefully soon we will go back :)
Fabulous video, loved everyone's enthusiasm, dedication and commitment.
I may never be able to get back "over the pond" again but I feel like a mini trip every time I see one of your vlogs. Thank you!
Can I like this again? Geoff posted about this on Twitter, and I'd completely forgotten it. And yes, Geoff I enjoyed watching it AGAIN. Thank you for reminding me about the beauty of this area.
Another fabulous piece of film. Excellent..

Another enjoyable half hour in your company. I watch at least one of your video's most days, please keep them coming.

Geoff: "It's like a stable"
