- Corrour is one of our favourite places to travel to. In September 2019 we stayed for two days at the Station House to spend time with Shona and team that work there to see behind the scenes of the UK's remotest railway station (and of course to enjoy the trains too!).

The drone footage of Corrour will never cease to amaze me!
Corrour, the station I adopted during All the Stations for helping out on Kickstarter. It’s a beautiful and remote station. It stands out. I love it

You have incredible taste, Avery. I also have fallen for this beautiful spot. It reminds me of some of the National Park lodges I've visited here in the States.
Why did the RR company open a station in such a desolate (but beautiful!) place?
Every bit as good as Michael Portillos BBC series with a lot more enthusiasm to boot. The gang at the station house were naturals and I have now placed this on my bucket list, along with marrying Sandra Bullock. Brilliant job guys! 👍🏻

Portillo's docs are fine but I watch them despite him. But Geoff and Vicky are a delight to watch and they really add something special to these films.
Vicki is a natural at voice overs. When does she complete her training as a barista? Great video as usual. Kind regards.

Susie has been my guard many times. I live in Fort William and use the line frequently. She’s amazing!
Had her in jan last year, she played walking in the air as we crossed the Glenfinnan viaduct 🤣
A thoroughly enjoyable video. In fact it was so much fun to watch, I could have been mistaken for watching a TV documentary from BBC Scotland or STV (Scotland's ITV).
Having worked on British Rail(1968) have just found Geoff & Vicki rail travels. A walk down memory lane - thank you.

Not just any old dog but a Golden Retriever.
Watched this video and had to visit, did so last September just for an afternoon and glad to see Shona was still there. What a wonderful place, had an awesome late lunch and got some great pics from the old signal box. Next time I will definitely stay overnight. Awesome place !!!

This one is a keeper, mate. It's a great behind-the-scenes look at the "back of the house" of a small British restaurant with unique delivery and service challenges.
And keeping the staff happy and sane while living and working in such close proximity in the middle of nowhere. (Shona was cute, too, but I digress.) I can see a BBC reality show in the making...
Well done, Jeff and Vicki. I felt like I was back in the restaurant industry, and thoroughly enjoyed your storytelling.

Fantastic! You two are just the most natural, enthusiastic of presenters....and not afraid to get your hands dirty ( literally!). What a place....I intend to go there eventually!

How can anyone dislike this? How??? It was brilliant. Well done you two. Staff at the station seem like a great bunch of people. I think the Corrour marketing board should give you some commission! I bet that accommodation will be booked solid for months after this.

I was actually here not that long after you guys filmed this. The wonderful staff were so kind to share that I had missed you guys by like a week. :') I've been eagerly awaiting to see this one go live because of that.
I also got the rare chance to drive into the station since the line had been shutdown for repairs but the Corrour Estate had opened the access road to visitors staying in the Signal Box because of the extended shutdown so that the Station House could still get a few visitors. The view driving in is still one of the most breathtaking (and harrowing) drives I've ever done. And despite it raining all 3 days I was there, the entire trip was an absolute delight. The staff at the Station House are absolutely lovely and it was so absolutely serene and calming to relax in the Signal Box with a nice pint of cider and take in the views while listening to the rain and wind roll through the Highlands. Well worth flying to the UK and then having to rent a car and drive up from Glasgow. I truly hope I can return soon for another wonder stay (and take the train to visit this time)!

It would be real cool to see these alternate between super busy terminal stations and remote boutique stations like this one.
Stayed here after watching the first ALS video on it. Stunning scenery, cosy rooms, lovely staff, excellent food. Don't know what else to say without it sounding like I'm sponsored. This makes me want to go back.
One of the most enjoyable videos you two have ever made, and I have watched ALL of them, some multiple times! What shines through is your obvious affection for the place and how much it means to you both. I am so glad you gave me a chance to see Corrour and the team there, it is out of reach for me to visit, but you have both brought it alive for me.
I only hope that this video gets the views and widespread admiration it deserves. Thank you so much, Geoff and Vicki, I'm off to Amazon now to order your two new books, to add to the Railway Adventures book in my library!
P.S. Sowerby Bridge Station has the fantabulous "Jubilee Refreshment Rooms", a train fan's dream, railway memorabilia, trains to spot, real ale to drink and the finest bacon butties to eat. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

That place changed owners maybe 9 years or so ago. I stayed there for three nights back in 2008 and it was an ambition fulfilled.
You beautiful people. Thanks for bringing a favorite bit of Scotland to us ex-pats around the world. Travelled through Corrour several times and never stopped. Next time I’m back in the UK I’ll make a point of it.
Loved the video. I now live 10,000 miles away from Scotland but last time I was back I went to Crianlarich and waited for a train to come in - just like I used to do when I was a little boy. Happy memories.

Corrour truly is a beautiful place and again shows how railways lead to amazing places.
That was amazing to watch. I used to volunteer at Authur's Tea Bar at Leyburn Station on Wensleydale Railway,🧀 which makes a fascinating video to watch. I will put Corrour on my Bucket List of Places to Visit. I am beginning to think you two will have to do another book soon with all the things you have done since 2017. We went there in the fall of 2018 based solely on your "All the Stations" video. When Geoff said in the video "You have to come here", I ran upstairs and said to my wife "Amity, we HAVE to go here" and, well, we did. And hopefully soon we will go back :)

I will echo what so many people in comments are already saying. This place is stunning, the people are warm and lovely, Geoff and Vicky do a stellar job of showing us around. I work with a number of different UA-camrs in a few different genres but All the Stations and Geoff's personal channel are two of my favourites to watch in recent times. Unashamedly enthusiastic about what they love and make content on, it shows in their delivery and personalities and generally just a great time :).

Since it was mentioned down thread, it would be interesting to see this station now, four years plus after COVID, and see if anyone’s still there from the time of this video-and if anything changed during and after COVID….and by the way, we haven’t seen much of Vicki over the last couple of years; hope you’re still together and she’s doing okay health wise!

My favorite All the Stations video. I've decided that next summer I'll spend the night at the station. I really hope to see Bruce Springsteen next year, but Corrour is at the top of my bucket list now.
What a beautiful place..stay a night over there before heading off to Glascow...whenever we can get back to traveling again!!

Great video folks. Geoff, I love the drone b-roll shots. Vicki, you’re a natural on-camera presenter that also exudes enthusiasm to the subject (Geoff, also very good 👍) Although I live in Canada, was born in the UK and miss many of the sights and sounds you capture.

One of my fav things about Geoff and Vicki is that yall can take videos that are essentially advertisements for train companies and tourist destinations and make them incredibly interesting and compelling.

Loved the sign that said if the toilet is full you can go and pee of the end of the platform for a small fine. Great video once again guys.
