A Scorching Day on Beinn Achaladair and Beinn a'Chreachain | Bridge of Orchy, Rannoch Moor

- The 20km+ route for Beinn Achaladair and Beinn a'Chreachain is already a reasonably big day out, but add in glorious sunshine and high temperatures and it becomes even harder. On the plus side, the views over Rannoch Moor to the many, many Munros beyond, as well as neighbouring Glencoe and the Buachaille, make for a spectacular day.

Thanks for uploading, Alistair. Good choice on the summit snacks. Hope the wee midges didn't get you too bad. 🏴🏔👍
Glad you enjoyed it ☺️ the summit snack lasted seconds, I wolfed it down. Midges weren’t as bad as they’ve been in the past thankfully
Hi Alistair. Wonderful view, brilliant walk and a mega summit snack. That was long on old pull up the Glen at the start.
Great stuff mate, all the best, Dave 😀🥾⛰🏴🏴
I really wish I had taken the north side path, would have made a world of difference but in the end I forgot all about it after the second summit and the views it offered. Thanks for the comment Dave 😁
Awesome video Alistair as usual. Loved the drone shots and loved the summit snack. Well done.

Thanks Alan, the snack went down a treat even though it was well melted
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. 👍3
Many thanks!
Well done Alistair, great video, you’re looking well 💪
Thank you 🙌 ☺️
Nice one, a great solo adventure.
Thank you
Fantastic video and music
Thanks Paul
Loving those drone shots. You didn't happen to get eyes on my crashed drone at the summit of Beinn Achaladair did you? 🤣Great video as ever 👍
Thank you! I didn’t see it unfortunately, think I would be pretty gutted to lose mine too.
Lovely video dude! Great job! Hopefully catch you on a hill someday :)
I hope so too!
Nice one Alistair 👍
Thanks 👍
Wonderful video - engaging and great soundtrack. Did those two on a miserable day last year (couterclockwise) and crossed the river over a dodgy steel beam - presume it’s now gone but wouldn’t fancy doing that again. (We used rope to be on the safe side!). As for cream slices. / nice choice and good compensation for a 16 mile hike!
There’s a brief glimpse of whats left of the beam in the video, its lying in the water now. Thank you for the kind words ☺️
@@HighlandHikers just as well. I reckon it was an accident waiting happen.
Cracking haven’t done these Munro’s yet have walked to Gortons bothy taking the beginning of your route to get to fantastic views mate cheers
Forgot to mention a blank red orange screen with a capital T displayed appeared twice when you showed the OS map on the video not sure whether it’s my TV cheers
I missed most of the views when walking in because of the low lying cloud sadly, but I felt the rest of the walk made up for it. My bad on the orange screen!
There’s also a clip on my channel of our night at the Gorton bothy the river crossings weren’t easy lol
