Pretty cool! Ill subscribe to see more of the build. You should make a video about tuning with crome. Setting afrs, adjusting ignition timing, etc. would love to see that
D16's only build power with boost.... Vitara bottom end with 16#'s boost matched with a BrianCrower Stage 2 cam =430whp on E85 cost me just under 2grand total build. Nice civic though very clean build.

I had issues with the runners being so long that we had to move the brake line junction down to make room for the IACV - which ended up very close to the firewall. Never did dyno test - but car seemed to cruise at high speeds (85-95) with less throttle (and hence actually better mileage) at these speeds.
just got my first vtec A few days ago. Already had header, exhaust, and cold air . Now im going to put this throttle body and manifold on and then an upgraded cam and springs. should net me 200hp. I hope. Gonna take a while. :)
When's the turbo going on lol. Love the Honda content. Hopefully my car is registered and insured this weekend and can take it on its first drive In like 7 years
I had the same coolant hose clearance issue on mine. It's a good manifold but I was really suprised they would've designed it that way. I also had to make a bracket to limit how far the TB opens. My TPS range was .4v to 4.9v. It's like the TB was opening more than 100%
Been doing research into installing one of these manifolds and checking for specs because the fuel rail I have doesn't bolt up the same way as the factory style, came across an eBay listing with screen shots of your video from installing the manifold. Just a heads up if no one asked to use your content, someone has used it elsewhere.
I had the same problem , the reasons because the car runining rich = more power and the ECU tells the computer to injector more gas in the cylinder. But I wonder if it burn cleaner instead of unburn gases. I might be wrong

New to the honda game so probably a noob question i got a skunk 2 intake manifold for a d16z6 but i have a 94 ej1 with a d16y8 the manifold has a small crack was wondering if this would fit my motor and would i need anything extra?
great vid, I am thinking of getting a few bolt ons, and that intake is the most expensive, just trying to justify it, but I can't find anyone else that makes an intake manifold for the F22b engine ... new sub, I am gonna check out some more stuff!

So I can do the same thing with my y8 then? Even tho I have a z6 mani/throttle body/injectors/rail/ & regulator on my y8? In other words I can swap all that to the skunk2 to mani without no problem?

Hey man what’s the part number for the intake manifold you bought ?? I bought one for my z6 and trying to buy a aem fuel rail for it but I read online that the z6 and y8 fuel rail have different mounting points
Oh I gave an update at the end of my e85 tuning video, yeah it's still knocking. I'm going to start tearing it apart and put new bearings. And pray the journals are still good
Does anyone know if this actually makes power ? Because I've heard people say stock y8 manifold is already good . But I'm trying to swap the mani for more HP . Any suggestions?
