@@spencersgarage That means I have to get a tune if I run 66mm throttle body? My intake manifold gasket went out on me so I was like I’ll just a skunk 2 one. I don’t want to Hondata and tune I’m on budget. But if I have too I will.
@@spencersgarage same question kind of, now that you ran this for awhile have you had any disadvantages? or issues from doing it this way? I was about to do mine and noticed you did it this way. Let me know thanks
What are you doing with the evap purge solenoid? That bolts to the top of the gsr intake manifold. I was thinking of running a b16 fuel rail since it has a mount for it already 🤷🏾♂️
I’m like there better be a part 2! I didn’t see if you put the tps sensor on that’s usually riveted on the back side of the throttle body and is a pain to put in when everything is installed already
Torque to spec on all things love it. Very nice car and work done.
Im not really a honda guy so I dont know why this was recommended, but nice work. Amazing editing/production quality for a growing channel.
Thanks, appreciate it!
Great job. Will be using this as reference, currently doing a resto-mod on a 98 LS
What did you connect the hoses from the iacv when you bypassed?
What is the length size for the studs for the intake manifold?
Hi can you advice to me if i use wiseco piston 6567m84 b20b block itr head
That type r bracket and throttle cable is needed?
Bro just guide me I have skunk2 racing tb there is no water outlet at lower side of tb.
Now where can I connect my IACV lines to tb.
Thank u.
What’s the purpose of bypassing the hose?
Do u need all the new stuff like the throttle position sensor etc
If you have an OEM TPS, then keep that one. Otherwise, I would just get new.
Which is power ang fast gsr b18c or b16a engine
After watching this video, now I’m tempted of doing it my self on my GSR. I have been wanting a skunk2 manifold for ever. Is there a part coming?
Part two will be coming out next!
@@spencersgarage all be waiting! I appreciate it!
So u looped the tb ports?
Do u have to tune the car when u get new intake manifold .?
Yes. The Integra GSR ECU “P72”, will not operate correctly with the new manifold not having the secondary butterflies like in the OEM GSR manifold.
Where did you purchase the iac ?! Please sense the link or where I can purchase please and thank you 🤝🏽
Offer up app, someone had a brand new OEM in original packaging. It’s discontinued from Honda.
Skunk2. Dude!
Good Video 👍👍👍👍👍
how did you remove the bolts from the head?
The same method that he used to take the studs out of the manifold in this video. Two nut method
Where can I get that iacv
ebay
What length were those intake manifold studs? Were they the extended so you can fit thermal gasket on? And can I use my OEM gsr throttle body?
Hi, 55mm studs will work. You can use the OEM TB but the port won’t match the manifold. At least a 66mm TB would be good.

Why rerouting the iacv water hoses? For let the temperature be cooler on the tb?
So extremely hot coolant does not heat up my throttle body. Cooler air = more power.

@@halfertyadventures9145 well I don’t run my car in very cold temps. So no issues from my car.
on 17:52 what if i don’t have both of those only the one on the manifold?
what do i do

I deleted that thing years ago. The Rywire engine harness doesn’t even have a plug for it…

Yes, there will be a part two! After the part two install video I will have a whole other video on how to calibrate the TPS.
@@spencersgarage and it won’t be new parts but I’d love to have you torque all my stuff to spec. Anything outside the engine im like it feels tight 😆
Would you recommend that manifold setup on a stock motor and ecu?
No. The ECU has to be retuned.
What ecu would you recommend? Good thing I didn’t install it yet.
