I believe anyone who wants to sound completely kick-ass singing a metal song in English, must first develop a funny sounding accent with which to speak English, because it seems the 2 go hand in hand.

Man, since I found your videos you inspired me to record every song I had in my head. I love your work, the sound you reached, the personal touch you put on them. I hope one day you could hear all I have recorded. I don’t sound like you, but I’m pretty shure you would like it. Thanks for shearing how you create your music. I’m shure there is more guys recording their song thanks to you. Thanks for the rock!

james mcdaniel you might want to learn how to breath with the diaphragm. Once you get that, try to slowly apply that with the note you're trying to scream. Also, a FYI, use your flash cords instead of the vocal cords

Cruel and Unusual films that may be. But for a beginner, learning false cord, then to fry might be easier and more obtainable.

Worked so hard on figuring out my own sound and technique only to give up after a few bands falling apart. But your videos are motivating! I can't help but do my vocals still in the car on the ride home from work lol. Addicting to say the least! Maybe one day we could do a track together :D. Cheers and have a good one!

Thank you Leo for your inspiration. This month I will be making a big move into musical content creation. Literally buying a whole studio set up so I can start having some fun. I've spent hours and hours reviewing and adjusting to what I want and need. Now I'm down to the business part of things and it seems a bit over my head. The whole process of getting a cover or original song licensed and then onto You tube and all the other things is a jungle of it's own. You seem to have mastered it all, but I wonder if things are different for you compared to me since I live in Montana in the US. I mean when I look up cover songs from here, you would think everyone would be doing it. Is there a different rule set for doing this? You really only see the top notch covers and not much of anything else. Maybe it's a You tube thing and this is why you branch off to many different ways. Anyways I'm super excited to get started. I have been dealing with people at work looking at me like I'm crazy for doing this, but it's been a burning passion inside my soul for a long time that must be dealt with. So either I just have fun trying or I'll have the last laugh when I hit it big lol.

I’m tasked with doing vocals and bass for Static X tribute. I’m close but still have to refine my filters. I’m def going to use my stomach more because as you described my throat is taxed after songs push it, destroyer, hypure & bled for days. Dirthouse and love dump are currently getting worked out too.
I’m using Presonus along with studio artist pro filters etc. thanks for tip of harnessing the stomach for ranges vs torturing the throat. Sub’d & liked.

How are you doing that without lawsuits? Just wanting to know how you go about that so I might be able to later once I get my new studio up and going.
