Happy New Year , and I have a word for you ( actually 2 words ) . Those of us that have been driving for a while , we're not old , we are "worn in" just like a comfortable old boot .
Happy New Year to you and your family. We aren’t old, we’re just seasoned. Those cameras can pick up things such as the slightest rain on the windows when the human eye can’t see that and assume that there’s no light rain drops on the windows. Have a good one, keep up the great work.
Yes there are ways to add more cameras plus power them up, and have it all looped into a DVR A lot of school busses, transportation busses all use systems like that with or without sound. Once that is done all you have to do it hit a key or switch and everything starts recording and how long you want that run time Happy wet trails to you for early morning jobs
Im not bragging, but I'd have drove a bunch of differences types of truck. PETERBUILT, KENWORTH is the top .Macks are made for heavy duty like logging. I drove all mack truck truck that truck ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.
awesome video. Yeah I guess it’s like where I live in New Jersey I see a lot of things going on new buildings and it’s just insane I guess they’re trying to make Washington look like Hoboken New Jersey lol keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next video and happy healthy new year to you and your family as well.
As a first responder in Northwest Montana, I have developed a keen ability to anticipate instances where individuals fail to yield the right of way to emergency vehicles. It is remarkable the extent of time I have spent in Spokane. Not only do individuals utilize their mirrors, but they also appear to have forgotten the proper procedure for signaling before changing lanes.
All that palleted material is the foam for the roofing that sits on corrugated steel, then they’ll put a rubber membrane layer over the top of that to seal it up. That huge bump on 5 used to rearrange the parts and tools in the back of my service van! 🤪
You are so right about Arlington's growth. The building you were dumping at will probably poison our water supply as they will be making batteries there. As for the buildings over the freeway in Seattle, you were right again. I'm pretty sure they were thinking "we will force them into buses if you jam up the freeways". And as for the charging of your cameras, extremely easy. You could do it yourself and leave Bobby to sleep. All you need are 12v to 5v USB adapters, some wire, heat shrink. You could do it in a day. Let me know if you need help. I'm right off 84th (you went right by me twice in this video).
Hi happy new year. another great video, thank you for sharing. I am watching this from the UK weather today is super cold clear blue sky and winter sun, but the norm is rain rain and more rain I bit like your weather on this video. Stay Safe.
I also lived in that same neighborhood or very close. I remember when they built the high school and ruined our kegger spot in the field there and now it is Costco and apartments as far as you can see.
After 22 years OTR, I finally got into an 18 speed Pete. I had never driven one before but I had no problems after watching one of your earlier videos showing how to drive it. Thank you for posting that video, Dauminique!
Please, I owned a cool Mack Quick change from 10-wheeler to a 5th wheel for a bottom dump or an end dump. I enjoy your channel Kiddo. Have fun and drive safely.
Just a FYI. If that new concrete is over 7 days old it should be okay to drive on. If it was not then the risk of cracking gets greater the newer the concrete is. Stay safe and keep the rubber side down.
Hey Dauminiuqe this is JD CREWS from Lakeland Georgia making a request for you to do a cold start video on your 2003 Kenworth t800 semi dump truck please.
Dauminique how often do you get stuck having to hand shovel material out of the bed? That is the one part of dump work that I am not sure if I could handle. Not as young as I once was. Driving and dumping would be no problem been in tractor trailer for over 30 years but mainly dry van and containers. You make it look pretty easy.
There's a driving instructor based in Liverpool who does videos on how to assess what other drivers are going to do and how to put yourself in a position so as to be aware of them - for example, not be alongside anybody on a roundabout (should they be in the wrong lane for an exit). Not a car driver myself but still informative on what as a cyclist I can judge when out on the road as to what others are doing. Happy New Year to you and the family. Stay safe out there
The Approved Driving Instructor (and ADI trainer) in question is @AshleyNeal . I've learnt a lot from him and I was above average to start with (comment on how bad I think most other drivers are).
It's a good thing that you know where you are driving, because I couldn't see a thing in the dark and rain. It's my least favorite to drive in. I work in Chattanooga, and housing is going up all over. Fancy townhouses are being built close to the forging facility that I work at. It won't be long before the complaints about noise. We run first and second shift and weekend shift.
Looks cccccold there, I'm watching your video at 4pm and it's 26 celsius / 78F here near Orange NSW , but it can get very cold during winter but nowhere near as cold as your location, we can get -6 celsius / 26F , keep warm and Happy New Year.
Hi I hope that you all had a great christmas and a new year love those Jake's on that kitty cat in the kw my second best trucks I would drive be safe God bless❤
Winter dump truck driving is a little different here in SW Montana. Slippin' and slidin'. You get really good at raising a tag to make in around turns.
i do understand problems with 4wheelers very unpredictable i used too own a superliner mack with a 550 plus in it 18 double over that old girl would do 85 90 mph no problems the new ones not so much ps that old mack would do that loaded with a pup or tri axel behind it loaded never pushed it too the limit 75 80 all day long
Hello Nikki, Funny thing about experienced truckers on highways, they're always thinking a mile or two ahead of where they are, so they're in the correct lane before they need to be. Ps: They always complain about other drivers using cell phones and driving at the same time as well.
RE: truck dvr - I could help with the wiring bit. I'm not a pro, but experienced amateur (race team electrician) and somewhat local. Or at least I can point you and Bobby in the direction of resources to learn to do it yourselves.
I’ve never driven a Mack that I liked. Actually, I’ve driven a few that were OK, but most were uncomfortable and weird. Currently drive a KW…it’s a shame how bad Paccar has let their newer trucks get. Drove an older T600 a few years ago and it was a good truck. Would never buy a new one now.
Happy New Year Dauminique, the driver was probably on their cellphone & not paying attention to what's behind them, Kenworth & Peterbuilt are the best trucks built
It was a nice day with you. When you dumped the truck at the last. Your eyes moving in all directions showed off your amazing eyes. Just saying. Have a great day
in Our Area most of the Log truck drivers have gone to the W900 because Kenworth has quit building T 800 Trucks and the T880 has proven to be a flop in the logging industry! Things like the lockers kicking out at 30 km and the engine governed when the PTO is engaged.
I am having a mild winter again same as last year not much snow and what we get melts. This week its in the teens last week ways 30s-40s seems to be flip flopping. Are you in a normal winter over there? Also is the static white noise the common over there for back up? In Wisconsin its beepers as the primary. Only perk I have driving the school bus over a dump truck is I am exempt from the no jakes areas. Mine stays on all the time lol. But I hope to get back in a dump truck this year.
A couple of things. I thought that there was a tunnel now under Seattle? With all the construction that you talked about, why is the economy bad? Is it the lack of road building?
When you were shooting this (your local time) the temperature here (same local time) was down about 26F! How much is a US gallon in Imperial or metric? So I can work out what 6M/USG is as an Imperial consumption. ~22:00 - Did the guy on the CB call you "Nicky" (sp if applicable)? If so I'm happy to switch from "Daum" but need to know first. 22:49 - Co-workers for different firms makes perfect sense; there were other sites and companies I saw or spoke to most weeks, and people worked for my firm 2 miles down the road I never saw or spoke to. And on the economy. If I have work for 1 or 2 days for one truck, I'll hire the cute and personable owner operator over a truck and wage slave from "BigCorp". ~41:00 Case in point; we could hear you were on and off the throttle figuring out what that wagon and box trailer on your right was doing.
I don't know how you do it...I have driven 50 yrs semi driving and various jobs...watching your videos makes me exhausted. You truly are a wonder to me. I probably could do it but not in the excellent way you get the job done. Congratulations you are my hero. 😊
Yeah hopefully 2025 picks up luckily or un luckily if there is no driving work I become the labourer so I get some work at least. There is only 2 employees now plus the boss we used to be 4 plus the boss. The pacific northwest and BC Canada is always been "logging country" so Kenworth T800s and W900s are popular log trucks, Peterbilt is mixed in there. Western Stars are both dumps and loggers. Macks are usually other vocational trucks and dumps. The oldest driver in my working area is 80 something there are guys in their 70s, late 60s, Gen Xs like myself and a few young guys in their 20s and 30s.

Love watching your big head lights

Yeah I need something like that
Hello from Las Vegas, love the hoodie! And MACK’S are the biggest POS. ( the newer ones) drive safe out there among those four wheelers!
Im not bragging, but I'd have drove a bunch of differences types of truck. PETERBUILT, KENWORTH is the top .Macks are made for heavy duty like logging. I drove all mack truck truck that truck ABSOLUTELY AWESOME.
Niki, (Happy New Year!) Drive Safely ....xxx

I'm not saying I am old however I remember when Mill Creek was a cow pasture and swamp/wetlands.
So do I. It wasn’t that long ago.
Happy new year to you and the fam nilki! Have a good day!
Thanks! Happy New Year to you too!
Working in the Rain 🌧 Nice!😊

You are very welcome!
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver And you have earned our respect leading by example.
Love the orange hoodie!
Good to see you again out truckin' for America ! Hope you found work for the next day, and of course every day ! And HAPPY NEW YEAR young lady !!!!

Hydroseeded some of that pit, and hauled out of it, like 25 years ago!
Happy to hear you again welcome back to the road, ❤❤happy new year ❤and prosperous 2025

Hey Dauminiuqe I hope you and Bobby have a great New year for 2025 hope it goes well for y'all.
Get a set of Kenworth flaps or get a set with Beyond Dirt custom flaps

Thanks good video. Hope you have a good new year!
Seattle still has cabs that's so 90s
I'm in LA right now and they still have cabs. Uber didn't even become a small thing until 2009.
Winter dump truck driving is a little different here in SW Montana. Slippin' and slidin'.
You get really good at raising a tag to make in around turns.
Hay Dominique I just wanted to wish you and your family a very Happy New Year 🎊🕛 May God richly bless you this upcoming year 🎊🕛.

Love your videos. I can’t believe you don’t tarp your loads. Out here in ct they get you for untarped load and tinted windows
I’m within the requirements not to tarp and I have a doctors note for my windows.
Hello Nikki,

What a nasty day ! I hope u stay dry and safe.
Happy new year Miss Dauminique
Last year I would make that drive from PDX to Ferndale and going through Seattle has always been a headache sometimes
Happy New Year to you guys !!!!🎉
Nikki love the fluoro jacket
Hey Dauminiuqe this is JD CREWS saying to you and Bobby hopefully y'all will have a great New year in 2025
Not sure if it was mentioned before, but does your passenger side lower bed light always flash when the Gate hits against the truck?
Happy new year to you and family please take care of yourself your great great video stay safe Barry uk

Happy new year!
I am wondering after or during rain the scale has water on it do you have to make a quessimate on your actual weight?
I might see you guys tomorrow on my way to Granite Falls, stay safe out there driver! 🤝
Gotta love the monsoon season in the NW.
Metal decking (q deck), but no roofing membrane.. so water draining on the floor.
Hey how are you doing today my friend I like watching your UA-cam videos and they are very educated
Weather in Seattle area is just as grey and abysmal as it is in Michigan this time of year. I miss Summer already.😢
I do not miss driving to Seattle with a set of doubles. And I thought Idaho had one of the worst drivers, until I started doing that run.
You should see how thay drive in Massachusetts
Hope you have a very happy and prosperous new year from the west side of Oahu. 2: 2:27 12
You ought to get you a new set of rear mud flaps for your truck.
Good to see your keeping a good stopping distance to the truck in front, sometimes damn car drivers will cut into it here in Australia.
Brilliant video magic thank you Barry
thanks for the ride to the big city
Love your video
I hope you you had good new year
Give that blue pete that i used to drive thee ol middle finger would ya. Id appreciate it
🤣
Happy New Year Dauminique, the driver was probably on their cellphone & not paying attention to what's behind them, Kenworth & Peterbuilt are the best trucks built
Hope the Donkey has a heated blanket.
Happy new year to you
The music sounds like McFly's Too close for Comfort 😊
Mack trucks…feel that burn! 😂
It was a nice day with you. When you dumped the truck at the last. Your eyes moving in all directions showed off your amazing eyes. Just saying. Have a great day
Are there job boards/ brokers where you are for work you can bid on? Or do you call around yourself to your own contacts?
No we don’t use brokers. It’s done off of personal relationships.
Awesome video I Love you sweetheart you make awesome videos keep up the good work have a amazing day.😘😘😘😘😘🤗🤗🤗🤗

plumbers and pipefitters hall just up the road on the right I will look at the yard you are at
I don't know if the DJI Cameras will do what you want, but lots of UA-camrs are switching to them and dumping the GoPros 15 faults.
That’s interesting. I’ll have to look into it.
The KW looks and sounds pretty good... How many tons can your truck carry? And how many can you haul on the trailer?
I love your show super big fan I’m a dump trucker myself!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you like it.

I think the Convention Center was built around 1998
lol no. I don’t remember a time it wasn’t there. It was built in the 80’s.
Do you make more with the double bed
Yeah and there is more work for a truck and pup available.
Love your sweatshirt. FAFO😆
lol same
Dauminique, when are you getting new merch in ?
I can’t figure out what is the advantage of having such a long pole on your pup trailers
WHY IS THE REACH SO LONG?!! Here is why, Bridge weight. Kenworth T800 Truck & Trailer Bridge Weight.
