What a life saver you were to those people with the stuck Jeep! It was a little positive Karma when you needed help and the diesel mechanic stopped and helped you. There are still some nice people in this world!!! Great video!!!
11 degrees, open cab jeeps?.....oh yeah, a whole bunch of good people helping other people. God blessed all of you 🙏 HAPPY NEW YEAR Eric and Mara. Special blessings to you and yours.
They certainly do it differently, here in Australia 11 degrees Celsius pretty much puts us inside 😂😅 net alone 11 degrees Fahrenheit 😂😅 great job, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones, Wishing yous a Healthy and Prosperous New Year
Eric , this was a great recovery, haven't had one of these in a while. Love that wrecker , square body heaven for sure. Your team was fantastic. Thanks for sharing, and stay safe and warm 😊😊
Although I've never been to the Midwest, I've been to some cold ass places, I lived in north western PA for a while and been to Vermont in negative numbers, but I have heard that there's cold and there's Midwest cold! Negative 11! God Dam! That's freaking cold! We even got a little snow ❄️ here in long Island, about to go out and clean the Tacoma S.A.Swap off, I don't think I'll have to lock the hubs though, it's pretty nice of you guys to drive 3 hours each way to save people. TG for you guys #GODBLESS & #GODBLESSAMERICA 🇺🇸
Certainly down to earth recovery with the major concern being "careful, you don't need to be breaking your hip "when usually it's trying not to break a drive shaft ! No fancy fully equipped wrecker ,just a truck doing it's stuff . Imagine if Rory (Trailmater) and Robby Layton got hold of the wrecker and gave it a massive face lift ! But the old girl does the job ,it would be nice to see Eric with some extras ,just to help him with the recovery work .
Good 2025 to you and the crew Do not under stand you folks with no chains. But hey i moved to Florida my wimpy self don't do the cold no more!! Thanks for what you do and the videos God bless.
The Ol' Red Wrecker is still a beast...momentum and a bit of pedal and it drove right out. Like snow wheeling. Haven't in a while. My 97 Blazer with some little Swampers and some Rancho shocks worked pretty well. My 2014 4Runner on Mickey Thompson Baja Boss with 3"OME suspension should do pretty well. Just kinda nice to beat up...Need to find a older Rubicon Jeep to fix up, better for wheeling and not so "nice".
Love all your videos, it may be worth a cheap OBD reader for the Wrecker, they are really cheap and worth keeping in the glove box, I love how someone stopped and helped you as normally you guys wear the cape and help others, all the best for 2025 from the UK.
Been on both sides of the rope on those types of conditions. It's all fun and games until you have to spend the next week thawing things out so they can dry.
After being a subscriber of your channel for awhile now, I thought you were a GM tech where you are in Wisconsin but I could be wrong. That sucks that your brand new truck broke down. I know it’s hard when things break down and you don’t have the tools to do a trail repair to get you home. Luckily there was a Good Samaritan to at least get you back on the road and owns a diesel shop.
I'll never understand what makes the younger generation think they have a off road capable Jeep. When they just put a lift and all terrain tires on a pos. Then they do stuff like that. They should have to pay big time for the recovery to teach them a lesson.
When I see someone stuck, I check out their tires... Just like this jeep, why would you go off road with highway tires ? Personally, you deserve to get stuck... Great job Eric and crew.... Ms. Abby..... I feel sorry for the young men who tangles with you.... lol... ✌✌✌
@offroadrecoveryteam you're telling me you loaded up equipment. And then drove 3 hours. Offloaded and went into the woods. Spent another what's 6 hours in the woods. And drove back. For free I'll be goddamn. I need friends like you. You're a good guy man
A great recovery. I' m trying to figure out how this makes economical sense. Do all the support people get paid ??? Do customers insurance pay for recovery ???? Do you have many situations, where you have a long drive, and when you arrive, the customer was freed, and worse, left the area ???? Do you get a credit card before you leave, to insure payment ??? Do you get burned by customers ??? You definitely earn whatever you charge.
It's way cool of you to mention the guy who helped you out. There's no better way to find good businesses and business owners. Then, by word of mouth from someone who is not being compensated for the recommendation.
It just amazes me how people think that they can go anywhere just because they own a jeep. At least get some decent mods before you go out in cold snowy weather.

The square body wrecker wood look pretty mean with chains on all 4 corners!!! Peace!
snow is one of those things that make manual transmissions shine offroad
My rig have manual transmission and I love it everywhere.

Gene, the one in the rear is the Rear Admiral. My understanding is that you then are 2nd in command. When you turn around you get to lead.
I like the way everyone pitches in to help.
Eric, Call Rory ask Him where He got his chains for Trailmater. You got lucky this time. Stay Warm and Safe. God Bless
Mara is a big reason I watch this channel
Rory would be proud of the rear dig
I'm convinced that you have the most well behaved doggie 🐕 in the world!
It's funny watching you guys in the snow when it's 30-40C here downunder. Everyone needs a winch and lockers
The weather was brutal. You had a break down. Still, you make it look like such a blast!
i watch your channel along with rory and matt and i was born and raised in cloquet how ironic keep on truckn
Made me think of that S-10 you pulled out of the woods years ago.
Brand new truck what the heck. Thanks for the video Eric great job on the recovery 👍❤❤.
Poor Gene😂 at least the big 3 are ALL representing🎉 sounds like Gene needs to make the 1st Jeep Dually like Rory's minimator🤔.. its an idea..js
MiniMater ain’t a dually...
LOL
Matortot

Great job guys. Thank you 😊
Nothing beats a warm day in the woods.
"Thank God for Nice People." There is a headline that would be good to see more often.
Great recovery team.

THANK YOU , for freezing yer buttz off and helping them out
we appreciate yall,...
Mike

Also once Blondie is done will Abbie(SP) get her first rig?
Those cheap OBD readers won't clear the codes that the tow rig had. Also Eric worked for their local Chevy dealer, so he has all the contacts there.
Wowzers, I thought Chris got her hand in the way of that bar! I'm so glad she didn't!!
Abby smuggin' with the Hot Hands - smart!
Wisconsin the one state besides the UP the sun has no affect. I know Green Bay 10 long years.
Been on both sides of the rope on those types of conditions. It's all fun and games until you have to spend the next week thawing things out so they can dry.
That back dig my dude. Watched you for years, imo, your the OG.
Great job team.
keep the clips coming
Great recovery team.😊😊😊
Great job guy's, man that ol Wrecker just keeps on recovering. Thanks for the video guy's and Happy Happy New Year 😀
Love what yall are doing keep up the good work Eric ,Fam much love from Boston Massachusetts 😎👍💪🏼😁
Great video nice ride in the winter wonderland land! ❤
I love that park, we try and get up there with the SXS a couple times a year.
Here in Maine it's 10 with a wind chill of minus 20.
Turbo boos, Kitt!!
Love it! Rough go in there getting out
Howdy BSF thanks for the video
Nice recovery
I'd love to see the ole tucker in action

that's Minnesota for ya...... the weather can change anytime right around the corner..haha..... I am done with this cold already...
The poor pup at 13:00 doin a face-plant on the dash after hittin a bump in the truck lol she needs a little seat belt or harness for rough trails 😆
Love the videos thanks 😊
The lack of lockers on the XJ makes me sad.
Great video
Why no chains on?
-6 is just chilly. It has to hit -20 to be cold.
Nice one.
If Matt has the Banana, and Robbie has Deja Blue, does that make that one the Picke? Since it seems to definitely got itself in a pickle for sure😂😂😂😂
At least the Chereokee wasn't as buried as the S10 that was stuck in the swamp for 3 years.
LOVE your show it's awesome !!!!! Are the two girls on your show related to you ?
Thank you Kaz Diesel Repair! Does Kaz have a Facebook page?
-6 is cold come on guys I live in Canada and -6 is the same thing as a summer day
He is from Southern Minnesota.
First viewing and the first to Comment. Great channel 😊
Gday guys
Too cold for me 🥶❄️🧊
I hope when you drive that far you charge them anyone else would some charge before they leave the yard
With no lockers I don’t believe I would have driven the jeep to where it was stuck.
When you get beard frost it's a cold day. Wait that was yesterday.
Indiana too ...sorry
good grab

And that is why I stay in TX
I was Thumbs Up #1,000!!! 😁😁
There is snow in Louisville, Kentucky and it has shut down the whole state and it’s only 25 here
It's 32 and rain in BG now... it'll start to freeze over night...
Too many chiefs not enough Indians 😂...another good one from BSF, great video.
Most people fill the gas tank up at the gas station
Hey Eric, are you running the stock steering pump? Central Louisiana asking. Safe wheeling!
Thats too bad. Need a Tool Taco form Fab fats!!
Trying to figure out why the green Jeep was back that far in, it can’t even climb a hill with snow on it .had no right being there
Should have done a pressure drop on the tires,???
How come you don't drive the Snow Cat on 2x4's any more? I guess it doesn't damage the concrete?
F250 service truck 8400lbs. What type snow tire anyone recommend 4x4 2004 yr. Truck usually only 1 to 5 in. Snow here.
Don't feel bad jean yours can manage high way speeds without having to be towed
Thanks😉
Damn you need to run chains
Cold...
Does Jean have to repeat everything you say
When I see someone stuck, I check out their tires... Just like this jeep, why would you go off road with highway tires ? Personally, you deserve to get stuck... Great job Eric and crew.... Ms. Abby..... I feel sorry for the young men who tangles with you.... lol... ✌✌✌
Hankooks on the Cherokee. Nitto Grapplers on Genes Wrangler. Both had to be winched up that one hill. Yes tires do make a difference
what did you charge for this?
No charge

@offroadrecoveryteam holy hell
@offroadrecoveryteam you even had people follow you with backup equipment.
@offroadrecoveryteam we need more people like you in this world 🌍

I do Off-Road recoveries for free, not every body does.
@offroadrecoveryteam There definitely are good people out in the world. Thank You, for being one of them.
Too cold, time to speed up some global warming 😂 do some extra burnouts 😂😂 and some them tires. 😂😂😂
I don't like winter too. 😅
Why would he even be out there with open diffs and A/T tires...
Stupidity...
What do you have on YOUR offroad rig? Oh, that’s right, you don’t even have one.😂
You know the guy or just assuming?
We all started somewhere
Tard happy...

Why do you and other channels drive so far for recoveries? Is it as simple as no one else will do it?
That is correct
So why does no one have chains fitted on their vehicles?????? Who let Gene back in the commentary box.. ??
Really?
Get a life
Giving XJ owners/operators a bad name! Common sense and a little rev limiter!
When Mara was cleaning and polishing the big rotors she should have been wearing an N95 mask
It bothered you so much that you have to still complain about it. Many videos later.
