Trying to Practice for the NintendoVS Challenge Cup June 2023

The in-game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate NintendoVS Challenge Cups aren't fun. There's one coming up next week (June 25, 2023) and the prize gets you tickets to Nintendo Live 2023 and My Nintendo gold points.

Also note that you can't save Replays in the Challenge Cup itself. This was from a Battle Arena I made with the same ruleset. The Squad Strike tournament at Nintendo Live will have the same stages and items.

Having made videos myself on practicing for the "tournament" and being met with lag, camping, Steves, bad luck, dying to the stage, and a points system instead of a bracket during participation, I can confirm that the Challenge Cup was a bunch of dog.

This genuninely hurts to see. Hopefully, Nintendo will start doing competition legal rulesets soon; but I doubt they will. 😥

I think the best way to practice is to play your best at competitive rank up test your might against stronger opponents

There isn't a "competitive" scene for Challenge Cup since it's an inherently anti-competitive ruleset.

More importantly, as I have every character in Elite Smash, people in Elite Smash loathe playing "ranked" matches with non-competitive rulesets like this. The Battle Arena was the right way to go.
