I was wondering about the price after Dr Idriss launched her line. Not saying her products aren’t worth it but they are expensive. Yours on the other hand are affordable! Thank you for making these accessible to mostly everyone.
AGREED. Dr. Sam’s aren’t really cost effective for working class/lower middle class either. I was expecting this to be another launch I’d pass on. But I might actually buy it!
@@RachelDee you could literally create a perfectly good skincare routine with a tub of store brand Vaseline, giant pump bottle of Up and Up lotion and a store brand gentle cleanser. All for under $10. I just bought a 5 ounce Derma Geek cleanser from Big Lots for $1.50. Granted it is a little more drying than high end cleansers but it’s fine for a low wage service worker like me.

Dr Idriss is focusing on discoloration and hyperpigmentation,it is understandable that they are more expensive,because they are effective and very well formulated products with active ingredients.
I wish i had acces to both of their products but i don't cause i am from Europe 😢

I just got my Prequel Skin Utility Ointment and I am so impressed! I have had eczema on my hands for close to 20 years and nothing has been comfortable to put on it. I'm a nurse and I am constantly washing and sanitizing my hands which makes my hands even more dry. Most things I have tried have burned and itched so I usually don't put anything on it which is really uncomfortable especially during the winter months. However, today I tried the skin utility ointment and it is AMAZING! I have never found a product that has petrolatum in it that wasn't sticky or tacky but it felt so good! It wasn't thick or sticky but it was so moisturizing and it dried in a reasonable amount of time. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am going to try my Gleanser next and will report back. Thank you Dr. Ellis you are amazing!!!!

Omg, I was not so excited to click on a video for a long time. Congrats, the products sound great. What I absolutely love, is that it’s created for body and body or better said that there are no potential irritating ingredient that are often found in body products (because it’s one of the reasons I have to use desperate products on my face since so many body products are heavily fragranced or high in ingredients that clog my pores on my face). It makes it so much easier - especially, after a long day.

I am really excited to try this! I came across your channel when I was looking for a lip spf and I just couldn't find one that wouldn't give me an allergic reaction and/or give me that spf taste. You were the only one that gave me a recommendation that actually worked and all of the recommendations I've tried from you have worked great since! I struggle with eczema/sensitive skin and I'm excited to try a brand that comes from someone I now really trust. And I LOVE the fragrance free! You disclosed percentages of ingredients (which a lot of companies don't), thoroughly explained the why behind everything and it is clear that you've put a lot of thought, research and time into this. I’ve been following you for a while now and really love your videos. When you first announced a skincare line, I have to admit I was a little skeptical. The market is already saturated and I thought “Great, another dermatologist is releasing a new overpriced skincare line.” But I’m so happy I was proved wrong! Not only are your products extremely accessible and come in HUGE sizes, but I really do think they offer something unique from what I’ve seen so far. Second, your pricing is affordable and can actually compete with korean products which are known for their great ingredients and value. LOVE that it's affordable! anything over $30 is gonna make me pass on a product but I'm so happy these products are closer to the $20 range. I'll have to keep my eye out for when the moisturizer restocks. Also, I'd probably buy a bundle of these 3 products if that's something you ever want to do.

$18, 13.5oz for the cleanser, that's not too expensive for a celebrity skin care brand. So far I'm liking the fairly reasonable price. Also the packaging is simple and beautiful.
