Thank you, Voces8, for the Saturday morning surprise! Monteverdi still sounds startlingly new. I cannot imagine what the congregation thought when he 'premiered' his works.
Thank you! It is lovely to hear the group performing some pieces from earlier years, now with new members and stylistic choices. This rendition is so different from the one which appears on A Choral Tapestry. It is lovely to hear how the sound of the group has changed.
Attended your concert in Kansas City last weekend .So amazing! Thank you for expressing the beauty of God's music as close to perfect as it will ever be on earth. 💜
It looks like two members of the ensemble did not get the Danish visa; or maybe they thought they would not bother making such a long journey for less than two minutes of singing. But the rest did a great job, thanks be to them.
After listening to this several times I hear another soprano voice at 1:15 with no one shown singing that short accent line - "ching-ching" sounding. ...not that it makes a difference to me as I love the piece. Maybe an enhancement of the video recording .... I might be wrong of course...
@@eggyboi7039 but no mouths are moving for that sound. So I don't understand what you mean by repeating after each other. The sopranos are singing something different ...

Voces6?
Summa cum laude❤❤❤❤❤
Don‘t you usually use full force and double voices when there are less than eight to be sung? 🤔
That would require Voces12. 😂
voces6😂?
three quarters of 8 🤣
Six is two less then eight.
Beautiful
Wonderful.❤
