Not into drifting at all but extremely impressed with your car control in those extremely wet rainy conditions.
Man, I remember you used to struggle in the rain. Now you're absolutely killing it. So happy to see ya progress so much. Also normally don't care for drag racing but you give it extra flare imo so I'm coming around definitely more enjoyable.
Extra flame? He does nothing different than any other channels thats strictly drag race besides not being good at it.

he’s been good in the rain for a while now. In the FD events with RTR he usually does better in the rain than in the dry as well at least relative to the rest of the grid. Really impressive

Keen to see the Mustang sorted! We have stock bottom end and stock ZF Falcons running into the 9s @ 137-140mph on ~700 whp with similar kerb weight. Get the suspension on point and some cooler weather it’ll get it easy!

@@wobblysauce auto will be faster for sure. But there is a standard pattern manual FG running mid 9s at 150+ 🤷♂️ it looks like a wild ride in that thing.

I was about to say we have an auto FGX which weighs more and has ran an 8 with 900whp. I know the Mustang is sequential but it shifts pretty quick

If you go Bias Ply you HAVE to switch to skinny fronts or it is going to feel SUPER sketchy after about 330ft if not sooner as fast as it is.

cleetus supra would mince the crap outta this, car weighs 600pounds less and makes more hp. it's victors old supra and that supra is setup properly. also both are owners of side by side tracks and seasoned drag racers

Hey Adam! I just wanted to thank you for the great videos keeping me going right now.. I got in an accident on July 24th. Totalled the car and I got a broken pelvis.. Had surgery 🎉the 25th. Have been at home recovering. Can't believe your in FL too. I'm in Sarasota love too see the community that is around me :)

Glad you listened to all of us on the shock idea, but one more thing.. when you run bias ply rear tires, you should also run a bias ply front runner. When you run the mix match setup, it can make the car unstable at higher speeds, having the matched set with front runner does help keep the car more stable up top.

Solid axel rear end. I have a 03 cobra and put a GT solid rear end in it. I went from a 1.7 60’ to a 1.2 60’

You definitely got the right axles for the GT350, and I think fixing the magnaride is going to do more than you think for improving your 60ft

I feel like the Barra's weight problems can be mostly fixed with suspension and tires. still should go high 9s if you get the power on the ground. I'm no drag racing expert but I've built a few cars and raced about 20 cars over the years so I have battled bad suspension on some real sh!tbox fox and sn95 Mustangs and made them work well, a gt350 should have an advantage at the start. Dumping the magna ride suspension and a 4 link kit with viking shocks would def put it in the 9s. There's so many bolt on, minimal weld, suspension mods for all Mustangs you shouldn't be difficult to find a good fit
Drag racer here.... i have a very well sorted f body thats 1020 whp 427 turbo ls next that runs 8 teens consistently.... Adam has a long ways to go to have a properly setup car for the strip at his cars current power level.
The issue is he puts all this money into the r32, 34, the S chassis cars and putting the bare minimum in the barra. And fox bodies are shitboxes. They are some of the best street/drag cars you can build
Keep working on that suspension! You'll never look back once you get that thing making clean passes! And we love the content! Oh and one day, you can be faster than Cooper 😁

Adam you should build like 8 of the same car and do some kind of stock car style drift comp where all drives have the same car. Idk why no one has done this but it’s fire.

I think once he gets the better suspension components and maybe pull some weight from it and not suck at launching, the barrastang could make it into the 8s.

1200 is def enough to sneak in the 8’s just depends on launch and suspension pretty much

360 tip, when car starts to rotate round and self steers STOP the steering wheel with wheels pointing straight till you are ready to exit spin then power out and slightly counter steer ;).
