Just the Desmond sticker would be perfect. Also, those blacked out lights on the front bumper would look so much better clear, especially if you're going with the more subtle factory lip.
You’re not getting old. You just have taste. It needs to sound super nice not nasty. The new exhaust sounds very nice and clean to me. Smooth. Comparing it to a 2 stroke is good. I love the sound of a nicely tuned 2 stroke. I say add the stickers to the wheels.
after watching videos of lz and oakes for 5 plus years i’ve learned so much about cars. I still have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to rims and fitment numbers wise haha. I’ve always wanted a project car to wrench on but I can’t afford it. Its nice to live through this though haha. Ik many can relate. one day ill have my mk3 supra!
Thank you. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who wasn't a fan of the existing exhaust. It sounds way better now. Total dirt bike sound but also a little throatier at lower rpm. This was one of my dream cars growing up. I'm a little older than you so that's why. You have slowly but surely gotten a wickedercand wickeder.
Adam - go check out the technology in those Borg Warner EFR turbos! Imo more advanced than pretty much anything out there and definitely helps explain why you enjoy the responsiveness ;)

I think for the stickers, just do the Evo stickers. It keeps it sort of simple, the red ties in with the brakes and the marker lights, and it still shows that they're legit not just knock offs. That's just my opinion but I think that'd look sick 🤷♂️

Same exact thing that I had with my DS's on my RX-8. Straight out of the box, the rear settled perfectly and the front was super low. I think I did 4 full turns out on the front and it raised it perfectly
No stickers look for sure. I would love to see those wheels in white that would be dope also I'm on the same boat when it comes to sound. There's like range of sound between stock and extra loud, raspy sound and somewhere between that there's perfect, clean not too loud tone which is perfect imo.
How i would choose wheels. 1st set. Lap attack - note results. 2nd set. Same test Choose the ones that go faster. Cars usually doesnt look best but will carry a meaner aura.
My truck sounded like that when i had too big of tubing. Sounded bad at lower rpm because the velocity wasn't fast enough and makes the pulses resonate inefficiently. There are calculators online for figuring out what size tubing to use so the velocity is correct. The diameter is important for keeping an NA engine efficient but for turbo builds people will slightly oversize. 4" probably sounds great with 1000hp at wide open throttle.
@MrAdamLz. win they made the rx7 one of the heads of the project was a drifter back in the early years of it drifting here is rather new but over there it been going on since the 80s but he tried to make a car that was able to street drift ez with little modes.
Go stickerless..... This reminded me that I need to order a new body for my drivers front BC/DS setup I got from LZMFG 2 years ago because for some reason it developed a fluid leak and I have never hit a pothole or anything.
adam idk if anyone has told you, but be careful lowering your fd too much. the wiring harness runs directly above the fender liner on the passenger side, mine started to rub through the liner and part of the harness corrugation on stock suspension. if you wanna take it up and do some spirited driving, i highly suggest you pop the liner off on the passenger side and zip tie the harness above the frame rail

Stickers are the play. The red in the EVO of the sticker makes them pop in the right way, and I'm not usually a sticker on wheels guy.

The rx7 is one of the most balanced car ever made . Amazing to drift because of the stock angle is more than most .
