I have mine 22 year old rs for two years now. Great bike, Only quite thursty.
I've also got a honda firestorm, now that's a proper thirsty bike 😮
Thirsty eh ? My Tiger 955i on a run gets 4.8l per 100 km or 59 mpg, including full luggage at just above the posted speed limits.
@@russcattell955i Not to hijack this, but what sort of rpm are you riding at? My '01 RS can't seem to improve on 43mpg.
@@dwarfrex Around 4-5k on Michelin pilot tyres. Gearing may differ between Tiger n RS.
I got one and love it. 2 up it’s a breeze. But the electrics are bad
What sort of electrical problems have you had? Hopefully nothing too serious.
@@ivy-mac very common stator and rectifiers. If you check online, even in newer models it is still a problem. New parts on the way.
My brother had a yellow one new back in the day. I did many miles on the pillion and it was fine for me too.
from what ive heard stators love to just give up on these for some reason
Love my 955i Daytona, and you are on one of my favourite roads 😎😎👍👍
I used to have a yellow Daytona 955i, that's a very cool bike.
@@ivy-mac you may see me doing the Charlbury TT in the summer on the flying Bannana 😆👍
@@MrPmunson123 I'll look out for you 👍🌞🏍️
Love this road, its used by Harrys Garage and my go to on a sunny day! I have Trident 900, give us a shout if you want to do a ride out
It's one of my most favourite roads in the area. Yes definitely, it would be great to hook up for a ride out.
Styling wise l always thought those headlamps were really ugly. Reminds me of the later GSX600/750F versions.
Totally agree, and the early Suzuki SV's
Any problem i should know before I buy one?
@@FRANKMOUSSEAUD I haven't had any problems, but I've heard that the regulator can be a weakness.
