Those 955i engines are beautiful, l had a Daytona 1999 model absolutely loved that bike, of all the bikes l have owned that's the one l really regret selling

I hada 2000. Series 1. The only thing that ever went wrong over 90k kms was the ignition wiring broke away and that might not have been the bike's fault.
In 2010, shipped the bike front Melbourne to Felixstowe and rode with my son (2007 ST 1050) all over Europe from Ireland in the west to Montenegro in the east. 15k kms in 53 riding days. Both bikes faultless.

I'd love a yellow Sprint rs, but too many horror stories. Sprag clutch failure, crankshaft failure, cam bolts shearing. It might only be one in fifty, but I'd find a bad one!

I’ve got a 2004 with 41000 KLM’s. Doesn’t have hazard lights switch though. Only gripe is that the lights are on all the time other than that I love it. 👍🇦🇺
