I have the same bike and year. Every job I do on the bike I am fighting all the time with rusted screws bolts and nuts. A simple oil change on the vfr is a ridiculous long haul. But it rides like a dream. I love the looks and the handling. It’s very well balanced. Sounds great and has presence. It’s a bit like a marriage this bike but instead of yakking you get that lovely vtec sound.

I've had my 2019 TRK502X about 3 years, just coming up to 10,000 miles and can't fault it. I'm 62 and only 5' 7" and 77 kg but find it no trouble weight or height wise. It'll pull in 6th gear quite nicely from 40 mph which some larger bikes won't, I work servicing and repairing bikes and ride everything and anything much more powerful but I must admit this does it all for me. I'm no bike snob as in the past as a teenager and into my early 20s I rode an MZ 250 and put 85000 miles on it so I'm no stranger to different bikes . The roads are in sh1te.. and they've stopped trimming the grass verges and roundabouts leaving it very difficult in places to see oncoming traffic.. Excellent bike Ivor , but as you stated non comparable to the Benelli but i think the Benelli still has it`s place for an entry level first adventure type bike. The only thing that spoils Triumph is the overpricing of parts and some of the plastic are shite on some models . The sound of a triumph is music .

Hopefully I won't need any parts anytime soon. It's a fantastic bike though 👍

Was it fuel Ivor or water from the wet conditions 🤔. That’s what we call a Toya Wilcox, “it’s a mystery “. 👍

It never occurred to me that it could be water, it was a wet day. 😂 It definitely was a Toyah Wilcox

My mate had the 750 SRAD when I had my Blade back in the day, it was incredible. Handling was superb and it was almost as quick as my Blade, but my God it killed my wrists!

I think if you asked any biker about their previous bikes, one of these, or a cbr600, would be on the list. Fabulous bikes.
