I think smackdwn vs raw 07 was a very good wrestling sim. 2010 had great mvs & introduced my favorite create a story md. 2011 had best hardcore matches & had best ai of any wwe gm to date; altho it had a limited mv set.
This game is awesome. I have it for the wii and it's a big step up over svr 2008 and 2009. Fun match types (especially the new royal rumble), fun road to wrestlemanias (especially the created superstar one). It just seems they put more effort on the wii version of this game than the other wii version wrestling games.

And WWE SvR 2010 is the last WWE video game featuring Jeff Hardy, Mr. Kennedy, Carlito, Umaga, The Brian Kendrick, Tommy Dreamer, Jesse, and Maria as playable characters. And in WWE'12 HBK and Batista are both DLC (Downloadable Content)
raising your stats in 2010 is way better than 2009 you can select which attribute you want to raise and being able to raise stats even outside carreer mode i've lvld The Time Bomb to around 80 and i'm currently starting my 3rd title run the only thing carreer mode is for is for trophies and to unlock different abilities and this part was also greatly improved as now i can unlock an ability and not skip it meaning losing that specific ability untill i unlock it again which is great
I don't think this game is too bad. I liked it a heck of a lot better than 08 and 09. My only HUGE gripe is that they still have Road To Wrestlemania instead of Season Mode. Yes adding a CAW RTWM did help a bit, but I liked it better when you did pretty much the whole year rather than just from a month till Royal Rumble to Wrestlemania.
With these blood physics it would be so awesome if only you could get different cuts on different spots of the head still the WWE game with the best blood physics exception being 2k22 because of how many different ways it can go cut on your forehead or right next to your eye or the side of your head shame it can't get on your body though

i like the new idea of the royal rumble, i always had hate it the way to knock people out of the ring. and the new camera effect for the finisher looks 10 times better from last years.
Creating Starman from the Nintendo's classic "Pro Wrestling" and other fictional wrestlers of the NES days sure was fun in SvR 2006. SvR 2008 was boring while 2009 was a step back in the right direction and 2010 looks even better. All that aside, I still believe THQ and Yukes need to completely revamp the fluidity of the game. I'm tired of the same dull animations and positioning needed to pull of moves. The series needs an overhaul in terms of gameplay - it needs a little more spontaneity.

That's exactly what I thought when I first put in WWE 12, I was so disappointed, the commercials made WWE 12 look like it was going to be the best WWE game to date, but that was just a cruel sad lie. The Graphics look like cartoon bubble people with terrible coloring compared to SVR...
So true, I think it's weird though, there is an online option on the menu but it doesn't work anymore I hit it and it says something like "cannot connect to online sever." THQ is stupid to shut it down the SVR online it was so much more fun than WWE 12's online
I personally LOVE WWE13... i am a super WWE fan but its really fun and if you love the Attitude Era the Nostalgia alone will make you happy let alone the good animation and shit ton of match types :D... I recommend it
one of the biggest problems i have with this is the created superstars low loading speed, and the fact that you may be able to download superstars from the community creations, but you cant edit or use them in anything accept exhibition matches.
So wait wait wait, I thought it was that you could only use 10 CASs in your Storyline. But you said we can only use a CAS in a storyline 10x????? Man.....
The presentation and graphics will look great, but the controlls will take a while for you to get used to. I've been playing this series for a while, and lately, its been getting more and more difficult to explain how to grapple. First thing to do, Play a 2 player match by yourself, and just beat on the opponent until you figure out what does what. And NEVER lose the instruction book! Trust me, you'll need it. Hell, I still need it!
Sadly for the xbox 360 CAS's can only appear 10 times in your story. That means that if you use 2 CAS's 5 times each in your story, that equates to 10 times so you can't use another CAS for that story. But for the PS2 version you can use CAS's as much as you want, however you can only have 50 scenes/matches in each story. So this restriction for the 360 was put into place to give the PS2 more appeal. And personally, this pisses me off. : / They could fix this with a later dlc though. :)
best Wrestling game since HCTP. also, it's the first time i've played a Smackdown game on Next-Gen. having customizable soundtracks is a lifesaver, my bret hart CAW entrance just gives me goosebumps, i managed to make it better than the bret hart entrance on the previous games.
Every year i say "ok this is it im not buying smackdown vs raw next year" then next year i see commercials and get all excited then i buy it and repeat the process because nothing has really changed. lol is this happening to anybody else?
I stopped playing the series after 2011 and never got 12 since everyone's entrances were the exact same minus the new guys and Cody, but I bought 13 and I think its freaking sweet.

Actually, if you tweak the reversal system in the options menu, you can end up having a GREAT match.

I haven't played these games in years so would there be a considerable difference between buying svr 09 or 10 for me?
My though is since THQ is going bankrupt right now that the WWE games budget got cut, and they thought graphics were the least important thing.

@gaialooker111 you can in svr 2011 beacuse they have a match craetor so you can have an ECW extreme rules match inside the Hell in a Cell structure
