Not even close, this game is a shitty shooter. I can't even make a build, the "forma" and "reactors" are useless because you keep finding higher level weapons. I keep getting overwhelmed and i don't have proper aoe damage on ajax, his abilities are on cooldown or i have no energy, my gun is not enough, there is no melee system for descendents only enemis have it, and then there way too many enemies that are immune to damage or can make everybody around them immune and can dissable you abilities. This game is actually worse progressing, maybe it gets better when i reach max level and i can finally focus on builds. So far div2 is a proper looter-shooter.
Currently playing the game just unlocked bunny. It feels like they completely copy pasted Warframe to Unreal Engine 5 with asian booba meta most of the assets are 100% the same upscaled to the moon, lol. I think Warframe is better atm for sure but I will play both maybe if I see it improving. Its still made by nexon and its filled with microtransactions and ppl already saying the grind is 20 times worse and grinding in warframe was also terrible sometimes so im not really convinced yet.
@@Jwcmbr it's a bit harder, you don't have parkour, melee, easily getting overwhelmed when defending alone without AoE abilities. Guns are lackluster because of the module system, what happened to classic mods.
idk if he mentioned it but random tip: if a reactor says mounted, the bonus only works while you have the weapon out, while if it says equipped, as long as it’s one of your 3 weapons even if you don’t use, it you get the bonus.

CORRECTION: I understand that I am making this comment 3 weeks after upload, but I feel that I should correct something that I noticed was actually incorrect which is a bit of a crucial bit of info which may or may not have been corrected in a future upload from this one. 14:35 Right here. You say that you can receive the reactor bonus to skill power simply by having the necessary weapon or weapon class equipped THIS IS NOT THE CASE. When the reactor says “[Weapon] mounted”, you have to be holding the weapon in your hands to receive the bonus. You can have the weapon equipped, but still not receive the bonus it advertises, because you weren’t actively holding it. This will be the difference between you moving down a sea of enemies as Bunny, or just running around playing slap-ass with the enemy. Edit: Minor corrections to some things I didn’t specifically observe. Added clarification.

Important note here: dont waste resources rerolling weapon substats before lvl100. Gold rolled stats at level 50 are grey (worthless) at max level as the substat ranges grow with your level. Learn from my mistake
Do we ever get to have more than 12 special rounds. I like carrying a strong sniper for 1 shotting strong enemies but the ammo rarely drops to the point that the gun is unusable.

The thing you need to know as a beginner. Warframe exists. Its the game that TFD is based. Warframe has been out for more then 10 years. Its hare more content, its less grindy, more unique characters.... its just better in every way. Go play Warframe.

Best video ever ! I'm actually starting the game tonight for my first binge session. I wont lie, I'm still not completely behind this game and after playing alphas and betas I did judge it but tonight I will be going in open minded again and hoping for the best.
No key option for favorit items on screen to be seen, how do you actually tag them ? what key do i press ? well i am not blind but playing on PC there is no key listed anywhere on the screen you just showed...
Watched the whole thing. Been playing for a few days and have a ton of experience playing warframe (legend 3), this video def helped clear a few things up for me and had some amazing tips. Too bad this game had an x64 program running un the back ground doing whatever it wants and the license agreement you signed states your ok with it and that they are allowed to use that information however they see fit with your signed agreement..... i wouldn't trust downloading this on a pc. Especially when the company nexon is already underlawsuit for their gotcha games....

There are some other predatory games like this out there, but not even a majority of them are like this, and only the few are you giving command access level too.... and only the few are able to collect that data because they are doing it with command level authority and there cleverly worded agreement let's them have free access to do whatever they want with that information with no legal recourse. As where most video games don't have any command level authority on your pc at all or even ask for it. And most game agreements are about protecting your personal information, not using it as they see fit....

Liked the video, didn't seem that long. I only have an issue with long videos if they seem stretched (A lot of 10 minute videos these days are like that to hit that magic 10 minute mark) and that wasn't the case here. Useful and brief yet complete information, just how I like it!

Awesome video for us beginners! There’s still something I’m lost about….current weapons max is 43 because I haven’t beat Dead Bride. Have tried with two different descendants…and failed. Without playing publicly, how do I move forward? The game doesn’t give much guidance….i have modules upgraded on both my descendant and weapons, I understand the bosses weaknesses etc…. Grind for better modules then and hope and pray??

HI THERE @Moxsy, all good? Nice and interesting to see how they got both Warframe and Destiny systems and mixed this stuff to create this cool monster hahahaha. Modules+Stats from Warframe and Modular parts (reactor and pieces) similar to the armor body pieces from Destiny. And weapons common sense from both games, and u can have synergy from all this stuff and create cool builds. I think Warframe players can handle this modules and mastery concepts more easily, and this part of Reactor+parts and leveling improving build stats is very common in Destiny (and it can be a nightmare to get the right parts lol) but it's still fun, I like it. I'm seeing a lot of people criticize and fight because of this game, difficult, excessive grind, p2w, drop chances... Man, all these games have this. Destiny, for example, you have to buy the DLCS and even then there are still grind and bad drop chances, there are raids and dungeons to do repeatedly to try to drop them and they are even more difficult in some cases. And there is also a paid battle pass and there are a lot of things that "f2p players" don't even get their hands on. And a lot MTX and progression+boost itens are there, sooo. Only those who paid have access, period. For me, the more cool games of this type there are, the better. Hope they keep the efforts to fix and improve this game and have a good lifespan. I personally don't spend my money on it (got Destiny dlcs only from cheap sales)... that's why I love Warframe, but I like Destiny and now TFD too, really good. You know what irritates me? Hack content creators. You're playing a game. That game has voice lines. Multiple times throughout the game an item or material is referenced in the dialogue. Surely the content creator making the video will pronounce things correctly so as not to sound uninformed. Nope. Of course not. C'mon man, it's not that hard to pay attention to the game when you're playing it instead of spamming your way through dialogue as fast as humanly possible so you can pump out more content ASAP. They aren't COOPER shards, they are Kuiper, pronounced (kai-per). It is said out loud several times early to mid game. Sorry, just a huge pet peeve of mine. You want people to take you seriously? Just pay attention.

This game is very fun and I enjoy it, just wish I still understood a few things better. but honestly, when playing a completely new game, I'm not too surprised. Destiny and Division (2 other games I love and can compare to this one) are the same way. Any game is mostly overwhelming at first. Hopefully they keep the game fresh and keep a solid amount of content rolling for the future.
So far the most irritating portion of this game is all the arbitrary names for crap, and all the guides explaining stuff by saying "this is just like this in Warframe"....I've never played Warframe. All of it could be streamlined and simplified for ease of use. But instead they are milking game time by hiding everything in its own menu/location. I'm confused when it comes to picking a reactor for Enzo, he doesn't need increased damage I think? His bullet abilities are singular but they give % ammo, and I don't think it changes. Does this mean I should just look for a purple reactor with good stats? Most rare guns seem to be pretty bad.
Feels like a great game with how much I’ve played so far but all this stuff just feels like they’re doing too much and you’re only going to understand fully when you’re close to finishing the game and the sensitivity setting’s just feel bad. I am currently using 90 sens (left and right) and yet it still feels really slow whilst for other games I am slow sens player but this just feels too slow.
What im not getting about this game is the ammo shortages, it say my we have "special ammo" so, runn over the special ammo drops and it says it full, but im out of ammo, wtf??? How do ya use special ammo?? The bosses are absolute bullet sponges, and run outvof ammo very quickly, and there's no definite way to get more, although its saying the special is full?? Am i missing something or is it just broke??
Can you increase the level of Reactors and Components like the weapons? I got an ultimate level 10 item I want to upgrade, but it is completely ineffective to use since my characters are getting into the 30s. Or like I got a couple of set drops that were in the low 20s I'd like to bump up and keep using too. It doesn't look like there is any way to upgrade the level on those though?
I have a 2 piece for Tomb set, gives %def which seems great for Ajax. Should I keep leveling these up or just use whatever higher level item drop? They're level 10 currently
It’s not like call of duty at all it’s exactly 100% right down to polarity like Warf frame. You literally have boxes to have Flarity if you put them on in that box of the matching clarity it uses less whatever the points are so you can fit more mods as long as you’re matching clarity and I believe, although I haven’t tried to do it yet you can change the clarity of certain slots, so you can put something in them and it uses less space you can also update or upgrade the number of slots you had not slots that isn’t the right word the number of points that you can assign so that you can upgrade your modules get more out of them and still fit thembut it’s not like call of duty. It’s like Warf frame exactly like Warf frame.
I'm new to the game, haven't started yet, just saw Gley and I thought, damn this girl is something. So, how do get coins to get her? I'm not gonna pay 15$ to get her do I want the f2p way
yeah.. the roles are irrelevant. I had a great roll with yellow stats on a gun I wanted to level up, and as soon as I leveled it up, those stats were changed to white. So It basically made it a wasted upgrade. I don't know if its a bug, or what.. but as it stands, Its just going to change those rolls to their weakest form. Its rather frustrating, but it is what it is. Just find something you like, and with the best stats you can find, and use it till something better comes along. I doubt the adjust system is working correctly. If you have the resources to waste, then all power to you, But I didn't. So, I stopped trying to waste my time with it.

There are no legendary in this game. You need to learn the terminology and stop misting stuff. Ultimates are what you’re calling legendary there are no epics that are our rares in this game. You said I’m saying it’s confusing when you keep miss using terminology people are gonna be out looking for legendary, wondering what the fuckby the way, has anybody seen a transcendent weapon yet and obviously we’ve all seen transcendence because you start a character I believe you automatically get a transcendent module weapons is anybody seen a transcendent weapon yet?
How about explaining the yellow purple or whatever color text in the description? What does it mean? I’ve seen it hell I had one with three yellows at four things there and three of them were yellow so did I erroneously dismantle that it was a launcher and I know it was fairly good. I used it. It was it had versus colossus as one of the yellow, and I used it until I just leveled it, can you explain the different colors of the text? I don’t know I’ve seen any purples, but I’ve seen whites and yellows.
My issue is I just want to unlock more characters. At least one. But I can’t even reach the area that I can even try to find their materials. The story is becoming difficult asf. I don’t know what to do. Also managing this tiny ass inventory. It’s tedious.
One thing I am finding annoying though, and slightly contradictory to what you said here: I'm finding if you keep a low level weapon with gold rolls, when you upgrade it's level with another weapon, the stats are getting rerolled?
I’m only lvl 15 or so Ajax but think he is pretty good at least for the campaign since defense is a decent part of it and Ajax has two shield abilities and two AOE.
The modding system is very much like Warframe but simpler in a sense and the feel of co-op of Destiny and even the talking w NPCs is very Destiny hope this game a strong future I love the aesthetics and Waifuness to it but I wish they add sliding just a better movement feel or tweak the hook
1st problem is this is not looter shooter the same as Warframe is neither, the lootershooter is Borderlands, here u have mods wierd capacities i really field lied becosue evrybody said its looter shooter, when it have same shiity mechanics and boss fight like warframe, farm void relic, then sue void relic to get 2% chance to obtain some shit. The semi open lands dont have coop or matchamkign some missions are meant for the team and soem are to hard like defending some thing, and ther eis now ay to do it with people so main agme is SOLO. only dungs and big bosses have matchmaking. Also i only play Tanks, caus ei liek then and i dont have any intresnt to play other descendants but again game force me to play them like in warframe so i hope the game just die and they close server for deliverin such a crap game.
The only thing i dont really like about this game is the fact on normal it’s way too easy and (at lvl 25) i dont really like how the MP system works. I feel like u have too little and the way you recharge it isn’t the best. That’s just me though.

I thought weapon's rolls didn't grow up when you level up your gun, so it'll be a waste of time keeping that in the inventory. If someone has tested it I'll appreciate the information.

so legendaries reactors are only good if you actually use the weapon, not just equip it, otherwise you are missing out on that bonus

Watched the whole thing. Been playing for a few days and have a ton of experience playing warframe (legend 3), this video def helped clear a few things up for me and had some amazing tips. Too bad this game had an x64 program running un the back ground doing whatever it wants and the license agreement you signed states your ok with it and that they are allowed to use that information however they see fit with your signed agreement..... i wouldn't trust downloading this on a pc. Especially when the company nexon is already underlawsuit for their gotcha games....

There are some other predatory games like this out there, but not even a majority of them are like this, and only the few are you giving command access level too.... and only the few are able to collect that data because they are doing it with command level authority and there cleverly worded agreement let's them have free access to do whatever they want with that information with no legal recourse. As where most video games don't have any command level authority on your pc at all or even ask for it. And most game agreements are about protecting your personal information, not using it as they see fit....

As the days passed, my mental state deteriorated further. I began to have vivid hallucinations, seeing characters from the game in my everyday life. I couldn't sleep, couldn't eat, couldn't focus on anything but the game that was no longer there.
Eventually, my friends and family intervened, urging me to seek help. I was admitted to a psychiatric hospital, where I underwent intensive therapy and medication to help me cope with the loss of the game.
Slowly, with the help of my doctors and loved ones, I began to come to terms with the fact that The First Descendant was just a game, and that my obsession with it had spiraled out of control. I learned to let go of the past and focus on the present, finding new ways to cope with my emotions and find joy in other aspects of life.
Though the memory of The First Descendant will always hold a special place in my heart, I now understand that it's important to live in the real world and not let a game consume me. I am grateful for the support I received during my darkest days, and I am determined to move forward with a healthier mindset, knowing that I am not defined by a virtual world.

Liked the video, didn't seem that long. I only have an issue with long videos if they seem stretched (A lot of 10 minute videos these days are like that to hit that magic 10 minute mark) and that wasn't the case here. Useful and brief yet complete information, just how I like it!

Awesome video for us beginners! There’s still something I’m lost about….current weapons max is 43 because I haven’t beat Dead Bride. Have tried with two different descendants…and failed. Without playing publicly, how do I move forward? The game doesn’t give much guidance….i have modules upgraded on both my descendant and weapons, I understand the bosses weaknesses etc…. Grind for better modules then and hope and pray??

HI THERE @Moxsy, all good? Nice and interesting to see how they got both Warframe and Destiny systems and mixed this stuff to create this cool monster hahahaha. Modules+Stats from Warframe and Modular parts (reactor and pieces) similar to the armor body pieces from Destiny. And weapons common sense from both games, and u can have synergy from all this stuff and create cool builds. I think Warframe players can handle this modules and mastery concepts more easily, and this part of Reactor+parts and leveling improving build stats is very common in Destiny (and it can be a nightmare to get the right parts lol) but it's still fun, I like it. I'm seeing a lot of people criticize and fight because of this game, difficult, excessive grind, p2w, drop chances... Man, all these games have this. Destiny, for example, you have to buy the DLCS and even then there are still grind and bad drop chances, there are raids and dungeons to do repeatedly to try to drop them and they are even more difficult in some cases. And there is also a paid battle pass and there are a lot of things that "f2p players" don't even get their hands on. And a lot MTX and progression+boost itens are there, sooo. Only those who paid have access, period. For me, the more cool games of this type there are, the better. Hope they keep the efforts to fix and improve this game and have a good lifespan. I personally don't spend my money on it (got Destiny dlcs only from cheap sales)... that's why I love Warframe, but I like Destiny and now TFD too, really good. You know what irritates me? Hack content creators. You're playing a game. That game has voice lines. Multiple times throughout the game an item or material is referenced in the dialogue. Surely the content creator making the video will pronounce things correctly so as not to sound uninformed. Nope. Of course not.
C'mon man, it's not that hard to pay attention to the game when you're playing it instead of spamming your way through dialogue as fast as humanly possible so you can pump out more content ASAP. They aren't COOPER shards, they are Kuiper, pronounced (kai-per). It is said out loud several times early to mid game.

This game is very fun and I enjoy it, just wish I still understood a few things better. but honestly, when playing a completely new game, I'm not too surprised. Destiny and Division (2 other games I love and can compare to this one) are the same way. Any game is mostly overwhelming at first.
Hopefully they keep the game fresh and keep a solid amount of content rolling for the future.
So far the most irritating portion of this game is all the arbitrary names for crap, and all the guides explaining stuff by saying "this is just like this in Warframe"....I've never played Warframe.
All of it could be streamlined and simplified for ease of use. But instead they are milking game time by hiding everything in its own menu/location. The game would be so much more fun if it was just a bit more intuitive.

I'm confused when it comes to picking a reactor for Enzo, he doesn't need increased damage I think? His bullet abilities are singular but they give % ammo, and I don't think it changes. Does this mean I should just look for a purple reactor with good stats? Most rare guns seem to be pretty bad.
Feels like a great game with how much I’ve played so far but all this stuff just feels like they’re doing too much and you’re only going to understand fully when you’re close to finishing the game and the sensitivity setting’s just feel bad. I am currently using 90 sens (left and right) and yet it still feels really slow whilst for other games I am slow sens player but this just feels too slow.
What im not getting about this game is the ammo shortages, it say my we have "special ammo" so, runn over the special ammo drops and it says it full, but im out of ammo, wtf??? How do ya use special ammo?? The bosses are absolute bullet sponges, and run outvof ammo very quickly, and there's no definite way to get more, although its saying the special is full?? Am i missing something or is it just broke??
Can you increase the level of Reactors and Components like the weapons? I got an ultimate level 10 item I want to upgrade, but it is completely ineffective to use since my characters are getting into the 30s. Or like I got a couple of set drops that were in the low 20s I'd like to bump up and keep using too. It doesn't look like there is any way to upgrade the level on those though?
I have a 2 piece for Tomb set, gives %def which seems great for Ajax. Should I keep leveling these up or just use whatever higher level item drop? They're level 10 currently
It’s not like call of duty at all it’s exactly 100% right down to polarity like Warf frame. You literally have boxes to have Flarity if you put them on in that box of the matching clarity it uses less whatever the points are so you can fit more mods as long as you’re matching clarity and I believe, although I haven’t tried to do it yet you can change the clarity of certain slots, so you can put something in them and it uses less space you can also update or upgrade the number of slots you had not slots that isn’t the right word the number of points that you can assign so that you can upgrade your modules get more out of them and still fit thembut it’s not like call of duty. It’s like Warf frame exactly like Warf frame.

yeah.. the roles are irrelevant. I had a great roll with yellow stats on a gun I wanted to level up, and as soon as I leveled it up, those stats were changed to white. So It basically made it a wasted upgrade. I don't know if its a bug, or what.. but as it stands, Its just going to change those rolls to their weakest form. Its rather frustrating, but it is what it is. Just find something you like, and with the best stats you can find, and use it till something better comes along. I doubt the adjust system is working correctly. If you have the resources to waste, then all power to you, But I didn't. So, I stopped trying to waste my time with it.

There are no legendary in this game. You need to learn the terminology and stop misting stuff. Ultimates are what you’re calling legendary there are no epics that are our rares in this game. You said I’m saying it’s confusing when you keep miss using terminology people are gonna be out looking for legendary, wondering what the fuckby the way, has anybody seen a transcendent weapon yet and obviously we’ve all seen transcendence because you start a character I believe you automatically get a transcendent module weapons is anybody seen a transcendent weapon yet?
How about explaining the yellow purple or whatever color text in the description? What does it mean? I’ve seen it hell I had one with three yellows at four things there and three of them were yellow so did I erroneously dismantle that it was a launcher and I know it was fairly good. I used it. It was it had versus colossus as one of the yellow, and I used it until I just leveled it, can you explain the different colors of the text? I don’t know I’ve seen any purples, but I’ve seen whites and yellows.
My issue is I just want to unlock more characters. At least one. But I can’t even reach the area that I can even try to find their materials. The story is becoming difficult asf. I don’t know what to do.
Also managing this tiny ass inventory. It’s tedious.
One thing I am finding annoying though, and slightly contradictory to what you said here: I'm finding if you keep a low level weapon with gold rolls, when you upgrade it's level with another weapon, the stats are getting rerolled?
I’m only lvl 15 or so Ajax but think he is pretty good at least for the campaign since defense is a decent part of it and Ajax has two shield abilities and two AOE.
The modding system is very much like Warframe but simpler in a sense and the feel of co-op of Destiny and even the talking w NPCs is very Destiny hope this game a strong future I love the aesthetics and Waifuness to it but I wish they add sliding just a better movement feel or tweak the hook
1st problem is this is not looter shooter the same as Warframe is neither, the lootershooter is Borderlands, here u have mods wierd capacities i really field lied becosue evrybody said its looter shooter, when it have same shiity mechanics and boss fight like warframe, farm void relic, then sue void relic to get 2% chance to obtain some shit.
The semi open lands dont have coop or matchamkign some missions are meant for the team and soem are to hard like defending some thing, and ther eis now ay to do it with people so main agme is SOLO. only dungs and big bosses have matchmaking.
Also i only play Tanks, caus ei liek then and i dont have any intresnt to play other descendants but again game force me to play them like in warframe so i hope the game just die and they close server for deliverin such a crap game.
The only thing i dont really like about this game is the fact on normal it’s way too easy and (at lvl 25) i dont really like how the MP system works. I feel like u have too little and the way you recharge it isn’t the best. That’s just me though.

So for reactors, the ONLY difference is that golden ones have +20% on one of the percentages, BUT they have lower flat damage boosts?
This game brings back the nostalgia and fun time of destiny because let’s be honest that’s what it’s a copy of to be honest and I’m okay with that because I’m really enjoying this game but if you played destiny you’ll understand most of this game

I thought weapon's rolls didn't grow up when you level up your gun, so it'll be a waste of time keeping that in the inventory. If someone has tested it I'll appreciate the information.
