I'm so glad you film these videos to talk about this sort of stuff happening. I am currently 17, but had an awful experience like this when I was 15. Two men, one of them looking at least to be 50 and the other closer to late thirties approached me when I was alone, and vulnerable. They kept on persisting that they were interested in me, and that they wish that they were the lucky guy I was texting on my phone. In an attempt to divert them in a moment of panic, I lied and said I was talking to a friend of mine from school about chemistry, hoping that them knowing I was a highschooler would get them to leave. They instead found the fact that I was "cute and nerdy" to be "absolutely adorable" and kept pestering me for around 15 minutes, even attempting to "help me" with my workout. I ended up joining a group of college girls I didn't know who working out near me to get them off of me. I couldn't go back to the gym for nearly 4 months after that experience because it shook me to my core so much and I was scared to see them again.
This stuff happens more than you think, so I'm glad to see a man with such a large audience bringing attention to it.

Don't worry, the cure is coming.
The Y chromosome used to be the same size as the X chromosome 166 million years ago. It's since shrunk to just a third of the size with only about 55 genes compared to the X chromosome's 900 genes. If we extrapolate from the rate it is shrinking, it'll be completely gone in less than 5 million years.

As a man, I could not agree more about needing to be careful around these people... there are some absolutely unhinged men out there and I think a lot of men agree that there are some vile degenerates out there that i wish knew what 'no' means, and not to flip out when they hear it. I just don't think men get the option to express such awareness as it's not something tou can just bring out of the blue, but believe me, im disgusted that it's a reality that a hard no is a potential death sentence for some people

It never happened to me, but I'd always want a girl to tell me like: "Sorry, you're just not my type" or something along those lines.
I have a friend who was trying to ask a girl out for a coffee, and she was always just indecisive and didn't really answer. The closest thing he got to a real NO was along the lines: "I don't know". When he said: "what do you mean you don't know?" she said: "I'm a blonde". He was literally baffled by it, he thought maybe she's too shy and don't want to say yes or something? I told him: "if she wanted it, she would have said yes", but this was also very weird. I never witnessed this behavior before that. This lasted for a week I should add! (he sent a message every couple of days along the lines "did she make a decision yet?" or something, he was trying to be cool and not too pushy or clingy, give her time so he wouldn't look creepy like a guy sending 5 messages in one hour, but don't leave her hanging for a whole week, IDK, we were 17...
Luckily, I had a mutual friend with this girl so I told him to investigate and she told him: "how many cues do I have to do to make him realize I don't want to have NOTHING to do with him???" And she was kind of angry about it, called the guy ugly, stupid and I don't know what else, it was real bad. The guy just said: "one simple NO should be sufficient."
Next time my friend asked her out, she said "No." and that was the end of it.
... I mean ... I realize that she probably wanted to be nice or careful or whatever the fuck was going on, but then I think - if this friend of mine was an actual creepy stalker, her actions would have been 100% interpreted as an invitation, playing hard to get, being too shy to say yes or whatever. If he was the angry type, he would be really pissed that she strung him along for a week and possibly plotted a revenge or god knows what... This guy was just thought: "why did it take her a whole week to say no, why didn't she say it immediately and save us both from embarrassment"?
tl; dr: I'd want you to be polite and tell me "Sorry, but no" as soon as possible!
If a guy is stupid and don't say "ok, sorry about that" then you can resort to the "be overly polite" tactics, but most of the time it would be better to just keep doing what you were doing, and don't maintain eye contact anymore because crazy people will interpret the eye contact as an invitation, and looking away as "gtfo".

You know, I usually keep to myself in the gym, but some years ago a drop dead gorgeous woman started appearing. Sometimes I'd just randomly see her watching me, and it didn't help that sometimes I'd look over too.
Then one day, before I packed my stuff and went to the locker room, I took the balls to speak to her.
Pretty much just told her that I don't want to interrupt her or anything and simply wanted to tell her how beautiful she was. Looked at me with big eyes, seemingly surprised - but before anything, I said I just wanted to tell her, excused myself and wished her well. After a shower and getting dressed, I went out - in a crowd as in that particular moment, about a dozen people both entered and left the lockers. I saw her first, she was on training equipment right next to the locker room, looking around, seemingly in search for someone. Tried playing it off and go about my way when she saw me and called out to me "hey, um, the man that talked to me", I was literally shaking a bit and went to her. She wanted to tell me how she thought it was pretty brave that I spoke to her and that she really appreciated the compliment. We talked for like 15 minutes after that -
Towards the end and before she resumed to training, she asked me when I usually come to training and we found out that our times nearly always overlap. Talking with her became a usual, but like a month later she told me she came together with her ex again. Acted surprised, but told her I wish her will with her relationship. I dropped my personal interest in her as some kind of partner, and ever since we are gym buddies, having some talks before and/or after our gym visits, it turned into a nice little friendship, and to this day I guess I'm happy to have found someone I can talk about all kinds of stuff with freely.
Nobody asked but hey, I felt a little nostalgic so that's that ^^
I think it's simply important to respect boundaries even if you approach someone, and whether or not it seems you disturb someone (or not).
Anyway, I drink to Lisa, a dear gym buddy of mine :)

The worst thing about this is that no matter what a woman does in that situation, it will all be wrong.
Be nice and try to say 'no' gently?
The guy will keep going, thinking that he can convince her otherwise.
    Strictly say 'no'?
He will feel like his ego is hurt and might get aggressive with her or see it even more as a challenge. Which is creepy af.
There's no escape. Unless you're ugly. Then men will leave you magically alone, which is nice but shouldn't be the solution here.
And saying "I have a boyfriend" doesn't work either with creeps

It's sad that I'm thankful for being ugly and fat because I've never been hit on by creeps 🥲 My little sis is definitely the pretty one in the family. She's only 18 and it's so unfortunate that she's run into creeps at her work.

Sadly, I don't think they'll leave them alone even if they're ugly if they're just looking for a one time hookup rather than a gf.

@@GmmBeast Same. I look like Hagrid from Harry Potter. The only people bothering me are those trying to sell me something. I'm mostly safe, thankfully.

It's always bothered me how some men will continue to ask someone out even after they say no, but the moment she says "I have a boyfriend" the majority of them will leave it at that and walk away. They'll respect a man they don't even know before they respect the woman standing right infront of them... pisses me off

@@GutPoacher Even if she says that, a concerning amount of them will start trying to list off reasons why they think she should leave her bf for them 😭
