Now he's back in league 1 with wrexham that's nuts
It’s a huge achievement for us as a town
Which League 1 ?
Theres only one league one in England and wales@Justdream67
Highest wage bill. Disgusting
@@VacheChauvecry more
The stand naming was funny, bit of fun from one of the sponsors. But thoroughly deserved, one of the best seasons ever from a Cambridge United player. He was always going to leave, but will always wish the best for him. (Except against Cambridge)
yeah surprised he went to wrexham when he could have joined some league 1/championship club or even somewhere in the prem
He’s a top bloke. Been outstanding for Wrexham, the town, charities and more. He’s already earned legendary status here, too.
Love Mullin… Top bloke and absolute bullet striker!! A true nightmare to play against
Never heard of him
@@memphisdaniels3218 because hes in league 2
@@cloud9epic26 and has written an autobiography? 🤣
@@memphisdaniels3218 yep
@@memphisdaniels3218 what's funny about the fact that he's written an autobiography
Some people on here, seem surprised that Paul Mullins main reason, for the Wrexham move was for the money?
I think it’s useful to appreciate that the professional life of a soccer player is short, maybe around ten years. That’s if they are lucky and don’t go out early on injury or loss of form. So, one of the main motivators as in any job is the salary! Why not? I think in Paul’s case, the club is much closer to his family, the plan for Wrexham, to take the club up the leagues, suits him! He can see a club with big ambitions, that is close to home, that will pay him well! What’s the mystery?
absolutely agree. lots of salty lads out there. Mullins has been such a force for Wrexham - hope he surprises the competition in next years league 1
Paul is from Liverpool and as his boots have specified he does not support a certain political party who's most common characteristic seems to be ensuring the rich get richer and that's about it, so I don't think financially motivated was his primary objective.
Dropping 2 divisions and still being paid at a league 1 level I would have thought would be just a fringe benefit to him if it meant he could spend the most amount of time with his son and wife and his friends and family whilst becoming a bona fide club legend already in such a short amount of time and he's nowhere near done yet.
He prioritises his role as a Dad first and with the added exposure of the documentary it opens up other revenue streams for when he retires.
Signing for Wrexham was an incredibly smart decision but some people just can't see the logic I guess
Football*
Well the mystery would be going to a club thats two divisions lower than the club you are playing for. If money is a main motivator- playing and performing in a better league can give you more money (potentially) as even bigger clubs might sign you
He was amazing when he played for us
Given Cambridge are 18th in L1 just now, I’d not be surprised if Wrexham weren’t well above them in just a few months time.
League one is a big jump pal, Mullin only got 8 goals across two seasons for Tranmere. He had plenty of chances too.
@@lukemaher7901 indeed. I’m certainly not expecting anything like a first season promotion push like they did this time round, but I suspect they’ll finish no lower than maybe 14th next season, especially if they get their summer signings right.
He has made far more money at Wrexham 👍
Was in league 2 the same time as us (Bolton) wanted us to sign him when we went up was bewildered when he went to Wrexham in national league, worked out better than it would have for us fair play to him
Super Mulls and Fozzy ❤😊
Both quality people.
Sitting like an absolute weapon
Those skin tight jeans were not the move fozzy 😂
I know right, no socks either 😂😂😂
@@johnsavage6873about 4 sizes too small it seems🤣
Super Paul Mullin
I saw you in Leam earlier today wanted a photo but lost track of you
Love the picture of the Irish Messi 💚
Good thing there isnt FFP that low down eh
I can smell your bitterness and jealousy from here. 😂
@@jamsams Can you? I dont even support an english (or welsh) team. Swing and a miss for you
There actually is ffp
@@Maximilian_Ingrosso No there isn't. Not in the national league.
@@davidkelly499 it's not literally called financial fair play rules but they have an equivalant that is basically identical to FFP
What a striker Paul Mullin is
Legend 🏴🏴🏴
Everyone is going to hate Wrexham in a few years
Why?
He went to Wrexham for money. Just like Henderson went to Saudi for money.
That's their choice, and it's fine. But stop trying to pedal stories that there are other reasons.
So he went from league one to non league semi professional for money?
@@teamezyw6009 yes. I'm guessing you aren't aware of the Wrexham business model compared to the likes of Cambridge Utd.......
Who is trying to pedal that Henderson went to Saudi other than money?
@@teamezyw6009literally yes. And Wrexham are absolutely not semi pro, most teams in that league aren't any more.
@@kb5509 Henderson......
I'd suggest you do a bit of research before you comment on things
Paul is amazing
they probably named the stand after him to coerce him to stay
Hes back to league 1
Everyone has a book
It's either write a book or start a UA-cam, they are all shamelessly pedalling theirselves these days, you know, because they have to after the pittance wages they earned
Really? So there are currently over seven billion autobiographies on the market. A few sports people have books out. That is not "everyone". If you want to make a valid point, don't use ridiculous, exaggerated generalisations.
Its simple as money
He's wrote a book?😂😂
A weird way to structure that question. But we all know the answer, he’s dropping leagues so he can bang goals in easily and get a higher wage. It’s a disgraceful no brainer on Paul Mullered’s end
Money most likely
Gets to live with his family and be there for his new born child, everyone would do the same
Bro sounds like Stevie G
He moved because the money was better. The location played a part but doubling, nearly tripling his money was too good to turn down for any player.
Wrexham will be in the championship if they carry on how they are
Was absolute shite for tranmere though, any talks about that on the podcast?
They can't hear you from one league down below
@@mattkuah5567due to being robbed by the league, well done you got rich celeb owners and bought the league what a club you are

Something about foster doesn’t sit right with me
Money
What was the reason then? 😂😂
it’s close to liverpool (his home) and probably also cos it’s a really ambitious project
@@georgia9500and because they probably quadrupled his wages
Don’t blame him for leaving scumbridge to be fair
He's got a book at his age? What a w*anker
What?
Blue army
Is he scouse
Yes
Nope he's Brazilian
U didn't shine at newport
Wasn't even the best player in that first picture, wes wes wes wesley hoolahan.
Paul will always be a super white Trfc up the rovers
Was fucking shite for us lad what you on about
:)
Its embarassing.
never play in the championship hahaha
Why is he so damn handsome 😍
Non league and league one striker being lauded like he’s Alan shearer 😆
Nothing wrong with appreciating quality at any level. Honestly never know what players are capable of most of the time. I've seen Vardy at Halifax, Steve Morison at Stevenage and Charlie Austin at Swindon. All went on to play Premier League/Championship football but were crap on the day. Yet someone who didn't go as high was Aaron McLean, but he was a beast.
In his book he said!! Dear me, what the fuck has he got to write a book about ffs!!!
@@XExtremeProX About lower league football? Aye, ok you absolute mushroom 🍄
@@XExtremeProX I bet Dave⬆️ has more interesting stories than most lower league footballers. You probably have too.
@@burnaardnufc3173have you ever read a top flight footballers book, they're boring as shit, they've done nothing with they're life but play football.
Rat
Done nothing at any other club come Cambridge made a name for himself to the sell out for money in non league in ten years no one will remember him could be playing in the championship with a north team by now
Your dream isn't his dream. Stop being jealous
Idek who he is now
Literally 3rd in league 2
Show how tinpot Cambridge are
Never even heard of the guy tbh, Foster is really scraping the barrel to try to be relevant now, it is a shame he decided to taint and besmerch a career as a professional footballer like this, sad to see 😢
Played with him at Wrexham, don’t think it’s that much of a reach
Foster played with mullin and mullin is very popular in the USA
Wrexham are responsible for bars losing revenue with Sky showing their game no one cares about whilst the premier league is on and non televised at the exact same time💀
In my book!!! Is he on drugs, can't be about football
