Hoping that once we're in our new home (which was supposed to be last month but haven't even broken ground yet 😥) it will all be worth it. Thanks for the info - it helps knowing that these experiences are the norm when building a custom home.
Completed our house 6 months ago. It was pretty tense at times. Dealing with material cost increases, scheduling challenges and having the builder pass away half-way through the build. Despite all of this, the build was completed only 4 months past the original estimated schedule. We love the house.
