It's likely that you won't see this, but I wanted to say thank you. That's my family you helped out. When my mom called me and told me about this I was so happy. I am currently in college down here in Missouri and one of my biggest worries was how my family would fare. I am so happy that you guys helped out with the hay. The last few years have been rough and seeing this was amazing. So thank you for being so kind and helping out a ranch family.

So beautiful & so worthy. In years gone by, this is what much of America was like. In between school years, 1964 I pastor-ed a little church in E Montana. Rugged but beautiful country. For the hardy. At almost 87 (young) yrs, it buoys my heart to follow Sparks & fellow compatriots helping out someone in need. I feel more like y’all are doing it because y’all have a lot of good fortune from your success and want to legitimately help working folks in need. Not gonna lie it brought a little tear to my eye. Tear jerker big time!!! I'm a rural Aussie, and we're not long out of the most extensive drought on record. Not just record high fodder prices, and baling anything that can provide fibre for stock, we literally ran out of it. We were literally shipping hay/fodder 2000miles+ at one point.
Keeping stock fed is in dire situations is the most precious gift you can give, and a farmer (rancher) will call you family for life! 🥰

"The farmer is the only man in our economy who buys everything at retail, sells everything at wholesale, pays the freight both ways." -John F. Kennedy
He gets up before sunrise and works until the sun goes down. He makes almost no money, yet he works the hardest. He is the reason you have food on your table, the bread, the milk, and the vegetables. He grows the cotton for most of your clothes. He takes no sick days, he takes care of his animals every day of the year, sun, rain, snow, hot or cold. Yet he wouldn't change it. He loves it. It is not a job it is a way of life.

I'm a trucker and moved some hay several years back in Canada for a similar deal: drought down south, a decent season up north. It's hard (and itchy!) work. But it was a blessing to be a part of the exchange where farmers wanted to help farmers.
But it was rough taking the hay through Algonquin Park. The drought had affected the wildlife there and every time I stopped for a break the moose would come out to see what smelled so delicious!

We had a spring flood in a part of Germany in August, which destroyed the infrastructure on over 40km in a valley area. A small 2m wide creek, turned into a 400m wide Amazonas stream. Harvest got destroyed, bridges and homes.
But all the farmers from all over the republic came together to help out. They were the first at the scene and immediately started clean up the mud. Made roads accessible.
Farmers are the backbone of your country.
      Your small construction companies.
      Together.

Dave, I love how you always look to give back to folks even if they dont have a clue who you are. I really liked this episode from the beginning, but it changed for me around the 28 min mark. I saw that the rancher you were helping was wearing a SEABEE sweat shirt and cap, as a retired SEABEE with 25 years under my belt your kindness and generosity hit a little closer to home. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping a SEABEE brother and his family. What you did means the world to and all us veterans! Please keep up all the good you do!

I love seeing you guys using your channel to support a good ol' boy in a time of need! I grew up working on ranches and helping with my families small stock, so I understand the struggles and the hard work that goes into keeping "small-time" ranches running! It's hard enough for them to compete with the giant ranches that run, especially in that country, but you add in circumstances like this year has thrown at them and it can and has destroyed ranches all across the west this year. This just warms my heart! Also, glad to see Jax back! Have been following his channel since he first appeared here and I'll tell you what, Jax is the real deal! Such a good guy with a great old soul! A very entertaining channel to watch! Thanks for all you guys do! This was a great episode!

I keep watching all of your old videos because I have a very hard thing going on in my life right now and it has seemed to be the only thing that helps take my mind off it, I don't like telling my problems, but on Thursday my wife was having very crippling pains in her stomach so she went to the ER turned out she had a bad bowl blockage and it had set up an infection which got in her blood stream. It has been so difficult to watch her go through it but crazy as it sounds your videos have helped me. About 3 hours ago I found out it's no longer in her blood stream and that she's getting better. Thank you for being an inspiring person Heavy D and everyone else on the team. Your channel means so much to me. I hope nothing but the best for you in this world Dave.
