Thanks for the trip down memory lane. On many occasions I went with my FIL to pick up cars & equipment back in the 80's. He ran his salvage yard during the day, preferring to do pickups at night. Like your video shows, nothing ever goes as planned. Of course, all his rigs were ancient, and breakdowns were commonplace. His wrecker was a 1-ton Ford, also used to pull tractors out of the fields, as well as semis. He never used the drive train to move anything, always relying on the winch to do the work. Keep the videos coming.

Never thought I'd see HeavyD driving/owning a County tractor considering how rare they are in the US. My Dads friend owns a County 1454 based Vohl snow blower which looks similar but is a couple years newer and has a 6 Cylinder Ford motor to drive the tractor (not sure about the blower motor). Judging by the body work and 4 Cylinder engine I would say this Vohl is based of a County 764 which is just a Ford 5000 that's been converted to 4 wheel drive using County's twin drive system. Super cool machine and definitely a keeper.

Nice deal on the snow equipment not sure about the big blower but the trackless’s are fantastic especially if they are the Cummins powered versions with the manual valves instead of joy stick . They are built in Ontario Canada and just about every municipality has used them we even have one for a yard tractor the a tank

Over here we use semi trailers for clearig roads since the snow gets over 8 feet at some of the main roads.

"There's a lot of value in problem solving...NOW." Amen to that. Some people will pay double if you can get right on it. They just want the problem GONE

If you wanna test the snow blowers the best way is to set them in water. We have a snow blower company that comes to our quarry to test the new equipment.
