    Rubi Tile Leveling System
    thetoollocker....
    This is the first part of our curbless shower tile project. We installed KBRS shower system and mainly curbless shower pan. In my opinion KBRS Shower Pan is the best. We believe that it is much better than Schluter shower system, Wedi shower system, or Mapei Shower system that you can can from Home depot. If you learn how to build curbless walk in shower you can charge minimum 2-3 thousand extra on the overall project. If you use a curbless shower pan it really not as hard as you might think. It adds so much to the bathroom design and overall project.

    sometimes the solution is so simple that you don't think of it;
    I kept staggering my 12x24 tile with 1/3 stagger trying to see the best way that it fits with no small cuts in the entry or the focal point and how to slightly slope the outside tiles into the shower; then I saw this video with the tiles with no stagger; with an offset of a foot it solved all the issues;

    I really like this channel you're doing such a good job at explaining. I recently did my first bathroom reno and it turned out well but next bathroom is going to have heated floor/curbless. I was wondering why the heated floor didn't go into the shower? My shower is on main floor, and I am gutting it, so is it just about allowance of depth to accommodate on top of the shower pan? Maybe too tricky with the sloped tiles? just wondering why not :)

    Great videos - they’ve been helping me prep for my guest bath remodel I’ll be doing shortly. When pitching tile like you did for the shower, how do you prevent lippage on the other side of the tile. Won’t pitching down the one side raise the back and cause issues when installing the other tiles? Thanks!

    Great work, I have a question, $25 k bathroom remodel , is this includes materials?

  • @maxie9506
    @maxie9506 2 роки тому +2

    When you say 25k, does that include labor. Roughly how much can materials and supplies run for the average DIY`er?

    • @WINNI.Designs
      @WINNI.Designs  2 роки тому +1

      Yes all in. I would say this job is 10-12 materials

    How do you pitch it towards the drain, without excessively lippage?

    • @benrupp670
      @benrupp670 2 роки тому

      Agreed. Would have liked to see that part a bit more in-depth to see exactly how you handle that when connecting the level tiles to the angled tiles.
