I'm currently a high school student, and my English teacher (who is the greatest teacher I've ever had) played this for us in class when we were reading the book!

Im doing Romeo and Juliet for my high school play and I'm playing juilet and Im a year 9 so I got the lead and Im so excited and happy that I got it but I have to kiss a boy lol
I do like that Shakespeare explains everything interesting in the play in the prologue. you could never do that in a modern story because of all the critical emphasis on "suspense."
my classs did this as a school play and used this as a refrence.i got the role of being the narator.it was fun but also funny cause we were amactures(don't know if i spelled that right) and also because' juliet ' triped by stepping on her dress about 4 times throught the entire play!
i watched this today in english, and i swear my entire class died laffing. i was even laffing into the next period... still laffing. that was like five hours ago...
I performed this for my acting class with two of my friends. We got an A+. We had the whole audience rolling. Only instead of actual costumes we had s sign on our chest that read "Romeo" or "Juliet" and just a wig. They thought that was histarical.
also we acted so silly that the the parents were laughing through out the play.ya,almost every one was clutching their stomatch after the play was over.
@GabbyGrapist My senior lit teacher showed us this out of nowhere. He was like "Hey, who wants to watch some good ol' SHAKESPEARE?" We had no idea what was in store... What made it funnier was that this particular teacher also wore Converse every single day and was famous for it XD
