I love the editing to their voices. They can still be clearly understood and it makes them sound more godly, in Nyx’s case she’s a lot more ethereal sounding
Yeah, the vibe I always got from the two of them is that it really is absolutely not about who can kick whose ass (they're just both too business oriented to really ever consider that as a conflict resolution strategy for anything short of the end of the world)... they both acknowledge each others managerial skills and know they're free to call each other out on stuff they think wasn't handled diplomatically enough, because at the end of the day, the underworld is best when it's run peacefully and by the book. So if emotions are perceived to potentially interfere with business as usual, ofc they're gonna go at it. TL;DR overworked corporate BFFs having a "Civil discussion"
I think Hades deliberately taunted her so he could get a more explicit response than just "I have nothing to do with it". Hades knows he can't mess with Nyx, but he also knows a quick taunt here and there won't really cause her to do anything harsh, he is being a bit like Zagreus, pushing a boundary to get a better answer. Nyx stood her ground, though, neither confirming nor denying her involvement, but saying Zagreus would be discovered regardless.
I mean, her triplet daughters kinda sold the property to hades under the table so he's the legal owner,so they do be begrudgingly trying not to get on each other's bad side
Nyx has said she's grateful to Hades for his work, though. She doesn't have a mind for administrative work and order, so Hades has made her job easier. She just needed to remind Hades that he's not her boss.
I mean, this might actually be the calmest argument between Gods honestly. Other, less tempered Gods would have just declared a centuries-long war then and there.
In some point, they all stick together. They can fight but they live in the same place, so been "angey forever" is not some Olympian thing. Look prometheus, Heracles (Or chiron) free him and Zeus was like: oh okay welcome back old friend
Hades should be really thankful that Nyx is one of the calmest, most reasonable, amicable and affectionate divine beings, but make absolutely no mistake: she is not be to messed with, by anyone! Even Zeus, King of the Gods and Number 1 Calamity for Women, is afraid of her. Once, in mythology, Hypnos pulled a prank on Zeus and put him to sleep, during the Trojan War, so that other gods could duke it out among mortals. When Zeus woke up and found out what had happened, he knew exactly who to blame and was going to do to Hypnos what Cronus did to Ouranos. Hypnos' response? Run to his mom, hide behind her, and the moment Zeus came for Hypnos and saw Nyx between him and his latest prey... He promptly remembered he had another mortal woman to bang, said his polite goodbyes to Nyx and Hypnos, and hightailed it out of there faster than Hermes. Moral of the story: Do not mess with Mama Nyx or her children. Especially her children, even if you are an Olympian King, Titan or Mortal. PS. I know that in Hades 2 she is currently indisposed due to (spoiler!) Chronos, but if not for the plot, she would body Chronos, that's my headcanon.
Thus Sleep, Doom, Ruin, Torment, Death & Strife persist among humanity; asserting our mortality. …because we fear the Night, their mother, and dare not threaten them. XD
Hades, I like you, but you definitely tread dangerous grounds speaking against Nyx like that. Though I will say this, definitely got more guts than Zeus did when he faced her.
Hades is like that, he's all about order and rules, not because of pride but because of pragmatism. If he has to say something, he will, no matter who you are

Poseidon is God of Earthquakes
Hades has balls but then again it fits his character they do consider each other more or less equal business partners in this game at least

Huh! Like father like son!
An argument between Gods is like looking between 2 nuclear bombs and waiting to see which one blows 1st.

I think in that myth, Zeus was put to sleep because Hera tried starting a rebellion.
fuck nyx shes cringe and lame
Lmao hypnos hiding behind his momma to avoid the consequences of his actions
He had to ambush her or nyx would have end it before there was hades 2.😂
