Poseidon’s reaction is so heartwarming. I imagine Hades and Persephone sent word to Olympus when Melinoe was born. I can only imagine the devastation the Olympians felt when they heard about the Underworld’s fall, especially after the reconciliation party thrown in the first game.
She acts differently than the others this time. Her encounters are more akin to a fusion of Thanatos and Hermes from Hades 1, so she's no longer part of the normal god boon pool.
I haven't actually seen any god trials in the stuff I've seen of Hades 2. Nor does the idea of it really make sense for the narrative of this one. In Hades 1, the stakes are more so on the familial level. It's not unexpected that everyone is getting in their shots at each other. But in Hades 2, the fate of the world order is at risk. It's not just the abusive grandfather refusing to be shut out, but an entity higher than the gods (known for eating his own children, might I add) back for revenge and to take over the world order. Regardless of the usual Olympus drama & feuds, they all have a common enemy that is far more important to deal with. Even Hestia, the one known for keeping out of the usual hoopla, is getting involved to do her part.
I understand that there is dialogue about why Dionysus isn’t helping, but why aren’t Athena and ares? Maybe they are important since they are both deities of war to stop the siege? Idk but hades 3 better be an ‘everyone is here in person’ situation because i wanna see the interactions between hera and dionysus in person.
6:13. I hope Artemis can teach Melinoe about hunting because I want to make sure that Artemis can make Melinoe realize her true self that she is the Princess of Underworld, the daughter of Hades and Persephone, and second older sister of Zagreus. Also, I hope Artemis can protect Melinoe. Because I don't want Melinoe to get involved with that stupid Orphic Hymns. In addition, as the daughter of Hades and Persephone and the Princess of the Underworld, I want Melinoe to be the student of Hecate as Goddess of Ghosts and Mist. Moreover, don't listen to what the Orphic Hymns say because it's falsehood.
@@spaceboy9366 That's a lie! And I want you don't listen to what the Orphic Hymns say because it's falsehood. Also, You are thinking too much. In Hades 2, you know it's just a game and they make Zagreus is Melinoe's older brother. However in Greek Mythology, Zagreus is Melinoe's YOUNGER brother because Melinoe (Princess of the Underworld) was born AFTER Macaria (Nymph of the Underworld) and BEFORE Zagreus (Prince of the Underworld).
@@spaceboy9366 You see, I have two older sisters just like he has two older sisters, Macaria and Melinoe. That means I am the youngest son just like Zagreus.
@TuanTranMelinoeZagreus4880 There really is no such thing as a major or minor. The cult of Melinoe and Macaria are late. While in the little we know of the orphic hymns, the oldest ones mention Zagreo (around 600 B.C.) then came Makaria whose sources date from the Byzantine period, between 117 and 138 AD, so she appears in a christian empire, very well influenced by classis Greek periods. Finally Melinoe which was found on a bronze tablet for invocations dating from the second and/or third century AD (101 AD to 300 AD). We know very well that the Greeks (from the archaic era to the classical and Hellenistic era) were not really practitioners of Magic. The associations of Hekate with magic are late, very late since its beginning is associated with Euripides. Consolidating the idea of goddess of witchcraft in Roman times. So, added to the fact that Orphism is not a hegemonic religion but small cults that were separated temporally and geographically one from the other, Zagreo is the only one that we know that comes from the golden age of Hellenism, older than her sisters.
Tell all of the Olympian deities (Zeus, Poseidon, Demeter, Hestia, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Artemis, Apollo, and Hermes) that I like 👍 them and their boons because they are my favorite deities and their boons are very helpful, protective, and powerful powers. However, I don't like Hera because she is NOT my favorite deity and her boons are just promises so I'm NOT impressed and DON'T like about her and her boons.
since olympus is implied to be under siege, ares and athena are probably away on the frontlines
And Dionysus is preparing the drinks. And the poison.
Oooo, that's actually a good point. We'll probably see them when the game is finished
It also explains the redesign in universe, they’re all ready for war, Zeus has armour on, Aphrodite is using a spear and shield, etc
Damn... you were extremely correct

HEPHAESTUS IS IN A WHEELCHAIR!!!
I wouldn't be surprised in mythology he was handicapped
@Solbankai66 in ancient art he has a wheelchairs (technically, is more a wingchair but same function)
Since now Artemis now gives boons in person, would she fight you personally if you upset her in Trial of Gods too?

Is she crushing on Apollo? I don't blame her if so 😂
I do not recommend she follow up on this crush
Look up literally any myth on Apollo and you’ll see why
i went 😳 when he said sunshine
Daphne, Hyacinthus.....RIP to my homies😭😭😭@@-Commit-arson-
