A friend and I had the good fortune to visit the factory in Dec. 1979. The smell of wood in the factory was wonderful. I still have a few letters from Mr. Morgan from 78-79 explaining the wait time for a new Morgan was 2 years. A Morgan sure beat a EV.
Nice review, I truly appreciate the variety of vehicles Jay brings to his channel. No silly drag races, stunts or some giddy guy dancing around the car announcing - Look at what I just bought. Just an honest car review by people who know what they are talking about. I would love to see Jay’s channel and Harry’s Garage collaborate on a review.

The Morgan dealership in San Francisco was run by a guy named Bill. The shop was anything but luxurious it was at the end of a shed (pier) that is 85 to 90% a fish company’s and it smells like it too. The original small Morgan sign is still hanging on the cyclone fence that doubles as the front wall, the sign has some handwritten words added to it as a memorial to Bill.

The men inside with top hats removed were willing me to over-take them through the glass but the Moggy just wouldn't do it. Later I fitted an aquaplane aluminium cylinder head and an SU carb. In England you could drive a 3 wheeler at 16 rather than 17 for a 4-wheeler in those days and they were cheaper to tax and insure.
I drove those same canyon roads in July '18 in a rented 2018 yellow Mustang convertible. Good to see Jay back driving these roads in his videos. They're so much fun! Thanks, Jay!
I’m a local, Morgan host a few classic car and bike meets at the factory in the summer months, it’s a great place to visit. The Morgan midsummer (pininfarina collab 4 wheeler) is a car to review if you get the chance, named after Midsummer hill in the Malvern hills.
I had to laugh when they pulled out the Beeline as the 'satnav.' it's a decent system, I use it on my bike, but it's hilariously suited for the Morgan.

That new Morgan looks stunning. What a great homage to the original Morgan. I love the design of the new Morgan, especially those large wheels with the disc covers which is a great looking design for this vehicle. I would imagine you'd get quite a bit of interest and questions if you drive one of these beautiful machines around whatever town you may live in. Especially on a weekend day out and about on the open rode. I rode Harley Davidson's for years and this is a much more interesting machine. I would much rather be driving one of these in my older age than a two wheeled motorcycle or even a trike. This little baby is the perfect vehicle for where I live in Colorado, as you could drive through the beautiful mountain passes and back roads of our beautiful state. The only problem is you could only use it half the year, but oh what a half it would be.
Hi Jay - have you heard of Pembleton? They're a small family owned British car builder -they do a three wheeler like this but I prefer the T24 which has a wheel in each corner and just looks ace - please check it out
As a biker, I'm still a fan and capable of two wheeled motoring. Nonetheless, I cling to cherished memories of an MG Midget I once owned. Should I no longer be able to two wheel, this Morgan seems like a wonderful blend of motorcycles and British classic sports cars. Thumb up for that. To Morgan for creating a fabulous WTF is that vehicle, another thumb up. In short, two thumbs up Morgan! 👍👍
I've loved the Super 3 ever since I saw previews a year ago. That thing is really tugging at my bank account. It also doesn't help to see it the exact color combo I want. Dang. I can live in a tent, right?
I never have cared for three wheeled vehicles, but I love these Morgans. I agree that the older ones look better. Only thing I really don't care for is the headlights being so close together. Just a three wheeled bathtub. Looks like it would be a blast to drive.
If you have a vehicle that you love and want to sell, there's no better way to introduce it than with Jay Leno. This looks very fun. I imagine it could be a very good platform for a historic highway tour across America. As long as it's not too hard to get in and out of.
Seeing quite a few on the road in the UK now. They have additional driving lamps which improve the look. I prefer my ‘21 v-twin, but these are growing on me - you can see the effort that’s gone into the design and experience
I owned the previous M3W model and never drove it without my goggles! The little windscreens won’t stop all debris hitting you in the face and I had some hits on my goggles that most likely saved my eyes. Just hang the goggles inside when you get back. Still like the previous model much better.
I also picked up on the Morgan Rep. a “Cherio” type guy! Liked him immediately had all the answers and history facts. I like this vehicle , I missed the cost. I’ll google it.
Morgan is the best manufacturer, They have stuck to building beautiful handcrafted cars and 3 wheelers. I own a Morgan plus 4 but a three wheeler is next on my list.
Hi Jay, A few weeks ago I got a speeding ticket. I noticed it when the speed trap caught me. I thought I was way toooooo fast, but today I payed omly 50 euros for being 9 miles too fast in my 2001 Morgan +8 Now I have to say: Thank you, Morgan!
Just gone to their site, it looks much better with the outboard headlights which the configurator actual starts with. Way better than those two close together on the one Jay is showing which I couldn't even configure. Not bad with all 4 to be honest as shown on one of their pages. But agree with Jay, not as good looking as the previous ones in my opinion.
The Morgan 3-wheeler's about 68" wide, and handles beautifully. I've driven a friend's on autotests, rallies, and a few hillclimb courses, and it's an absolute hoot [🦉] to throw round corners. So it's hard to understand why the proposed Aptera 3-wheeler [electric vehicle] currently in development is a monstrous 88" wide.😲
Stunning design!😊 Great to see all 3 generations. I get the same feeling of 100mph when my wife drives her 1992 Mini. " Damn it woman, hit the brakes!" Terrifying 😅.
I believe it is in the movie "Murder on the Orient Express" where the statement is made that British babies are all born backwards. And this "car" ( and many other instances) surely is proof of that. In a country that has on average 172 days of rain a year we have a conveyance that appears to have no protection from inclement weather. It can only be typically British. And maybe it is this obscure mentality that really makes me to like them. Never a dull moment.
Great to listen to Jay on a Monday. It is a shame the Morgan looks an odd shape, I hope they make a slimmer version. I think Jonathan should also do his own UA-cam channel, he’s an interesting chap to listen to.
3 wheelers are big right now, I see them all the time....I guess after 100 years it finally caught on....so why wouldn't Morgan, the original, make a modern one, it still looks better than the new trikes, I like that they kept the narrow tires.

Seeing quite a few on the road in the UK now. They have additional driving lamps which improve the look. I prefer my ‘21 v-twin, but these are growing on me - you can see the effort that’s gone into the design and experience
Beats the hell out of a slingshot IMHO.
Maybe Bombardier should be taking notes. edit: My mistake, Polaris
@@cyrilhudak4568 It's Polaris Slingshot, Bombardier makes the three-wheeled snowmobiles.
Looks better than a slingshot!
Slingshots are a piece of plastic junk
I noticed you didn't show getting into the Morgan. I bet that takes some doing. I love that they still hand-build them. What a wonderful thing.
Thank You,Sir.Jay Leno.♦️♦️♦️♦️♦️
This was an excellent episode. I had to laugh when I heard the test driver for Morgan was 90 years old.
I owned the previous M3W model and never drove it without my goggles! The little windscreens won’t stop all debris hitting you in the face and I had some hits on my goggles that most likely saved my eyes. Just hang the goggles inside when you get back. Still like the previous model much better.
That’s a nice-revving engine!
Pretty cool! What a unique vehicle. 🤘🤠
I lust for a Morgan Super 3. At 70 it's so much work to get suited up to ride one of my Moto Guzzi.
Charming guest and car.
Jay Leno is a national treasure.
Hi Jay,
A few weeks ago I got a speeding ticket.
Thanks for sharing it looked like a lot of fun. 👍😎👍
Wonderful little machine
So cool! to see this just after I had visited the Morgan factory the day before Jay posted this 👌👍
The car is G O R G E O U S and if space and cost weren't not issues I would have one tomorrow. Pretty special car.
Why are the roll bars lower than where the head heights are?
Great to listen to Jay on a Monday.
It is a shame the Morgan looks an odd shape, I hope they make a slimmer version.
I think Jonathan should also do his own UA-cam channel, he’s an interesting chap to listen to.
Thx again
3 wheelers are big right now, I see them all the time....I guess after 100 years it finally caught on....so why wouldn't Morgan, the original, make a modern one, it still looks better than the new trikes, I like that they kept the narrow tires.
3 Wheels of Fun. Thanks Jay. 😎👍😎
3 cylinders sound like straight sixes awesome! 👍🤠🤘
