The three heaviest things in the universe.
1. Black hole
2. Neutron Star
3. Panteras breakdowns.
Well said,,no one comes close to a CFH breakdown
Cool that no ones mentioned other's mothers.
@@vincentconstant3768 5. This guy's mom
Not neccesarily in that order either. Hahaa
Why not black sabbath
“He’s killing that guitar”
Me: (literally talking to the screen) “just wait”
Solo*
“Can we play that back”
Me: “hell yes”.
Dime would have definitely wanted it played again. I also like how you were feeling that breakdown and totally understand why us metalheads head-bang
Thats what I said! Just wait my man, it gets better.
Wow, UA-cam viewers all talk to their screens. I feel normal now haha.
Yep, I was saying youy aint seen shit yet son.
That's what I said about headbanging. Just you wait.
IKR!!
There is literally no one on the face of the earth who minds if you wanna play a Dime solo again. Play it back 50 times if you want. Rest in peace, Darrell. I knew when you said you dig guitar you were about to have your mind blown. He was an incredible guitarist and a jovial guy, a bright light in the world taken from us too soon. Vinnie harbored feelings against Phil until his death, which is another tragedy coming from Dimes murder. Phil and Rex are still here making awesome music and keeping Pantera alive. Check em out.
@VICKY Nickerson.
Did u see my comment in the FLOODS reaction video posted today?
@@integrity101 I did, just now. Wowsa.
@@MsCruisein
Was i being a jerk in that comment?? I feel like i entered the twilight zone. I simply made an observation......
Anyway, sorry just frustrated, i was looking for back up 😂
@@integrity101 Nah, I think she is thinking of someone else, or projecting some feelings from somewhere else in her life onto you. You only made some suggestions for good songs to listen to. Don't sweat it!
@@MsCruisein
Thx
I still get goosebumps 28yrs later 🤘
I cry almost every time i watch Dime play. When he starts kicking up his heels and twirling around, never missing a note......
...Niagara Falls
Every single time.
Me too! 🤘
It's something about that high pitch scream of that guitar that just runs throughout your entire body
Same here!!!
We who grew up with Pantera have grieved so much everyday. To see the Hip hop community be blown away by the lads is filling us all with so much joy. I sat here as a Pantera tragic & watched your emotions during this. Dimebag still does it to me today not 30 yrs later. Keep them coming mate. A hit in the face by Dimebag each day makes it so much better. haha
Hell yeah Alan!!!Hello from Orlando,Florida!!
Pantera gave the world a lot of great music and live performances ……..
I feel that. 😢
I really can't stand this bs reactions; hip hop is so racist; or closed minded; what ever.. For 30 years they called this devil music blah blah blah;;, hip hop community is now blown away by pure talent; which in the past 20 years; hip hop is talentless......
Having been a Pantera fan for 30 years now, I still get goosebumps every time I hear Domination live..
"Can I listen to that solo again?" I like this guy already subbed, and liked
As soon as he said that, I subscribed too.
@Lori Hanks and he got the chill's to.😎😎😎 did he do walk ??? 🤔🤔🤔
I've been watching people react to that solo for hours; I'm an insomniac.
Dime IMO is one of the best guitarists that ever lived anything you hear by him is super amazing and will blow your mind... cemetery gates is one of their first break out hits here in texas
dime was revultionare back in his days... he made this shit!! he is a legend RIP!!!
Dimebag is and will always be the greatest metal guitarist 🤘🏻🔥
Absolutely RIP Dimebag
🤘😝🤘
EVH is the GOAT. Dime was a metal version of EVH!
@Death Dealer that's a bold statement
Just so you know every metal head is smiling just simply cuz you where head banging and we could honestly could tell you where digging the guitar work. 🤘🤘 ... you also witnessed a man play the guitar in his prime who was a monster on it and influenced and changed how metal sounds today.
I could tell from his smile right at the start of the song that it was gonna be a good one.
Rob Van Dam use to use the song "Walk" by Pantara, in ECW.
The studio version of this song at the breakdown at the end pans back and forth, left to right. Their studio stuff was among the best produced metal ever.
Been listening to this song since it came out, this reaction video brought a HUGE smile to my face and a tear to my eye!
As a guitar player dime was a huge influence when I learned as a kid. He’s a legend in the guitar world and his sound is iconic. one of the best to ever do it! Getcha pull 🤘
This is monsters of rock in Moscow. 1991. Also on the bill was Metallica, acdc and others but I cannot remember. 1.6 million in attendance. Check out Metallica - harvester of sorrow from the same show. Amazing. Amazing reaction!
Imagine the volume of the music if it had to reach 1.6 million people. Had to have been loud as hell.
Out of all the songs you could request you pick Harvester of Sorrow, really?
If I had to pick I would pick Creeping Death. The crowd interacting is amazing.
they should have stormed area 51
@@popitgood3456 😂😂😂😂
You can't be better than dime
I've been listening to Pantera since '94 and I still get goosebumps from every single one of Dime's solos
Rip dimebag, my favorite guitarist of all time
Andrew Kreklow He is the GOAT in my eyes and ears and I passed that onto my 5 yo son, he fucking loves Dimebag 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽😈
Damn rite Getcha Pull
Dimebag was a God on guitar if he would have never been shot could you imagine what it would be like today R.I.P You should react to more of there music
I saw Pantera 11 times back in the day and there will never ever EVER be another like them.
You are now officially a Pantera fan!!🤘🏼🤘🏼 The Kings of Metal! Dime is a god! Great reaction. Pantera-Walk
Should be next.
Oh man, I've watched many reactions of this song and I definitively think yours is the best. I've watched your reaction many times and your comments are so sincere and spontanious. I also love this incredible solo and loved you played again. The way you enjoy the song made me very happy. Best wishes. Y saludos desde Ecuador.
Not gonna lie, when this guy went for full head bang at the end, made me crack the fuck up! Long live Pantera!
Love your reaction, Doc! I was in the mosh pit at a Pantera show in Newport News in 1992 on Phil's 26th birthday, people were throwing birthday joints at him all night and he smoked most of them on stage. Totally life-changing experience, like seeing Hendrix for Generation X. Dimebag had his goatee dyed red at the time and he just melted our faces off...AWESOME. My favorite part was after you said you never headbang, then 10min in your are headbanging, YEAH!
This concert was very important in history. James Hettfield of Metallica even stated you watched these people finally feel free. This was after the Soviet Union fell, so all of the oppression and pain caused by communism had finally lifted.
Actually it was just a few months BEFORE the soviet union fell. The guards and soldiers that you can sometimes see in the videos from this concert had to control the people to not dance too much but they gave in in the end and even danced themselves.
There were multiple groups and the crowd is about 1.5 million people
That headache you're talking about is called a "bangover" and its perfectly normal...and welcome hahH
"Does playing a guitar even get any better than that?" Bro I feel you on that. That guitar playing, the solo, the breakdown, man it's just incredible. Great video I enjoyed your honest reaction to this song.
It made me so happy that you wanted to hear that solo again 😂
When I saw your goosebumps and you wanted to hear the solo again, I immediately subscribed.
Also subscribed as soon as I saw this guy do that.
Pantera's I'm broken & DOWN - Bury me in smoke, live at Download!! Great job on the Domination reaction!!
Anymore pantera to listen too? Listen to ALL pantera lol... imo the greatest metal band ever! I love watching people hear pantera for the first time... peace ✌🏼
Check out pantera-floods if you want goosebumps.
It's important that he reacts to the studio version of Floods, if he does it. Cause you know, with Phil on drugs and stuff... live versions of that music aren't the greatest. Floods is still my favorite song from them.
They did not make one bad song that is amazing they thought and put so much heart into every song
Best summer of my life in school I ignored all my friends and wore out my Vulgar Display of Power cassette.
WALK
Dime was the man, glad u felt it. Never wrong to listen to solo over again🤘🏻🤘🏻
You can literally tell just by listening that it's Dimebag playing. Not only is he a God on the guitar, but his style is iconic.
Dimebag was shot onstage in Columbus. RIP my brother
Love you positive energy! Watching your first taste of Dime Bag was priceless, and the goosebumps at the breakdown was great!! Eddie Van Halen had his own guitar placed in Dime Bag's coffin. GO BUCKS!!
Dimebag the greatest heavy metal axe man to ever walk this earth. RIP Darrell & Vince.
Amen!!!!!!!
AMEN 😎😎😎❤❤❤😇😇😇
Dime was a special gift stolen from us. We had him long enough to get irreplaceable works of art that will last forever.
Gotta love the little smile when dime is almost done with the first "solo"... it's like wait for it people, you ain't seen it yet
Greatest Pantera reaction ever!
Craziest goddamn concerts of all time, total anarchy, I’m from the same area of Texas as Pantera. Most humble band ever, RIP Vinnie and Dime.
There are tons of reaction videos to this song and there are 2 things that happen in everyone
1. Their face when dime hits the solo
2. The head nod I'm the breakdown
Don't believe me watch them all
still the greatest breakdown i have ever heard
There were 4 members Phil Anselmo on vocals, Dimebag Darrell on guitar, Rex Brown on bass and Vinnie Paul on drums. This is actually from the Monsters In Moscow tour. It was Metallica, AC-DC and Pantera. The first Western bands allowed to perform there since the cold war began. Gettcha Pull! Threeee!
React to Stevie Ray Vaughan ,,,Texas Flood live..he was an amazing blues/rock guitarist,,you wont be disapointed ,..R,I,P. Stevie ( Rock in Paradise)
From what I remember Rob Van Dam from ECW had Pantera's WALK song as his intro... But Love me some Pantera!
Walk.....one of my fav Pantera songs!
My favorite band. Saw them twice back in the days... I really enjoyed your enthusiasm in this video . Cheers from France buddy !!!
Dime is the GOAT RIP I hope the guy who shot him is rotting in hell. why would someone take away a person that has that much talent
I was watching you and saying yeah yeah yeah right with your brother right on!! I was fortunate enough to see Pantera live five times in my lifetime each and every show was insane damn good time great memories! 👊🏼
Dimebag’s solo and the Breakdown = instant goosebumps and you feel like you’re face-fisted with a hammer. Heaviest shit in the Universe!
This was also a very historical concert. The bands that played that day sang lyrics that could get you thrown in jail. From politics to religion. Metallica really pushed the boundaries that night when they got on stage. The Soviet Union broke up shortly after this.
Metallica did?
Idk I used to love metallica until they came out of the proverbial metal closet, and stepped into the pop world. Plus lars and James are total douche bags.
It kills me when I see young people rocking metallica shirts, like there metal or something. They tried going back to there old stuff, but not the same, their new stuff is mehh at best
Mehhh tallica
I just can't picture them pushing boundaries, I only picture lars pushing for more money
I'm NOT gonna front....I'm 53....back in '89 I was introduced to PANTERA by a drummer friend of mine.... your reaction was in fact the correct reaction....you are officially in the club....RIP Dime and Vinny.....I think you're ready for I'm Broken....and if you reacted to that already....listen to ...Nine Inch Nails La Mer (Live From All That Could Have Been) you will not be disappointed......
Painters was amazing in their day, they single handedly save metal music in the 90’s when grunge was trying to take over! Dimebag was and still is one of the most amazing guitarists ever to play, his death was heartbreaking
Man, I was at the Ala Rosa during the Damage Plan concert. I was heartbreaking, and I couldn't listen to Pantera for a good 5 years after
:( I still shed a tear to pantera
Since my father passed (20yrs ago in march) I’ve become emotionally unstable. I was incapable of grieving after he died in front of me and still am. As the years passed became even more numb. Then one day I noticed random things would cause an explosion of emotion. An ad on tv where a boy and his father hug or whatever and suddenly my eyes tear up and my chest is In a vice.
Anyway, Pantera is and has been my favorite form of release for anger, frustration and even joy. When you said you had goosebumps my eyes filled with tears of joy, appreciation, love and some other shiz. I know…I’m nuts.
Rock on brothers!
RIP Dime and Vinnie.
Thanks a Lot.....The best Band a live ever...fucking alllllllllllll
This one band you can never replace. They are the most iconic metal bands. I wish I was able to see them live. I was 14 when they played at Dodger stadium on new years eve. My mom just about had a heart attack when I asked her if I can go, free ticket and ride from a friend.
Anyone want to start a Pantera cover band? I got the drums covered.
I know that music touches the soul. When you touch people's souls, you can connect on a different level. Music can bring people together. That's what you're doing. You're bringing bringing people together through your channel. Channels like yours are very important.
Dimebag the greatest metal guitarist of all time!!!!
You know it’s true!
Welcome aboard brother And you have such a good point we all should get along and let the music bring people together.
The pioneers of what metal is and was. One of the few TRUE metal bands. These guys were rockstars. 25 years later I still do deadlifts to this shit. Great review, Loved your head banging at the solo!!
4 members.
Dimebag
Phil
Vinnie Paul
Rex
Been enjoying this version since 91..
Get Goosebumps every single time that first solo end and the breakdown starts.
Every. Time.
It's natural
Pantera blew my mind. Easily my favorite band of all time.
The greatest guitarist ever.goose bumps every time I hear Dimebag.no Matter who you are you are banging your head after that solo
I grew up in north Texas and they played a tiny club in Denison TX every weekend in the late 80s. I would hangout in the parking lot because i was too young to get in but i would drink and listen!!! Great times!
Why can't we all just get along and listen to good music? Preach my brother!
Your reaction to this seemed like the most genuine and honest I’ve ever heard!!
Fun fact : Doc Rich had an eargasm when that breakdown hits!🙌
Been watching peeps reacting to "Domination" and still "Got Chills " fuck these guys were fucking awesome!
The Queen concert you're talking about was Live Aid back in 1985 to support Ethiopia during their famine. This is the Moscow Music Peace Festival after the Berlin Wall was dropped. Multiple big name bands that it was their first time playing in Moscow ever. !.6 million people and the concert was free. This happened right before the release of their 2nd break out album Vulgar Display of Power.
Dimebag riffs are like none other. So much soul and power
Pantera was founded in 1981 and had 4 members and played glam metal similar to kiss up until the late 80s when Phil anselmo became the new vocalist and they took a heavier approach to their music and released cowboys from hell which had this song on it. They released vulgar display of power two years later and then far beyond driven which is their most successful album commercially which was again another 2 years after their previous. In 1996 they released the great southern trend kill which blatantly showed the pain that Phil anselmo was facing. This would eventually lead to the breakup of the band between Phil’s drug abuse and bandmate miscommunication. Their final album reinventing the steel was released in 2000 and soon after 9/11 the band split up. Dimebag Darrell the guitarist and the drummer vinnie paul made a new band damageplan while anselmo and the bassist Rex brown went to form bands like down and superjoint ritual. Sadly dimebag was shot and killed in the Alrosa club in Colombus Ohio in 2004. Dimebag legacy inspired so many musicians including me. I basically idolize this man. The passion that he put into this music along with the whole band is why they are my all time favorite. Rest easy dime🤘🤘
The bill that day was Pantera, The Black Crowes, Metallica and AC/DC.
@Jeremy Martino were you there ?
The drummer and guitar player are brothers. They both died, the guitar player was the one shot on stage.
I don't understand why you have 2 dislikes. you reacted to gods!
Listening to PANTERA will make your head move like a woodpecker 🤣🤘💪
This black mofugger is on the Line. he understood 100% what is all about. Much love from Greece man. Good Man and mind.
awesome reaction!! Metal has a way of tapping into that primal nerve that makes you just want to 'let go' and ride that wave of release!!
Like everyone on planet earth, he lost the headbang challenge on that epic breakdown...
PANTERA ..."5 Minutes Alone....Walk....or I'm Broken" .... thank me later.
Revolution is my name, Gates...
You can pick any song by them. Just can't be wrong with Pantera songs.
Floods by pantera or.... down-bury me in smoke
10s
Accidentally discovered this video, and thanks to my father, I’ve listened to Pantera my whole life. I love the reaction to this group so if you’ll excuse me I’m going to subscribe now🤘
This is like over 10 times that audience size of live aid. This is from Russia right after fall of the USSR
matt reeves I thought this was a couple weeks before the USSR collapsed
You've just been Dime-bagged! Hell yeah, Play it again! It's a thing of beauty.
RIP Abbott Bros. 🤘
Rob Van Dam from ECW used to enter the ring to Walk, a different but similarly awesome song by Pantera
Dem boyz was the real deal son! I’m from Ft. Worth, Texas and they were from Arlington literally next door. Local boyz to me. Nicest dudes you’d ever meet. Especially Dimebag the guitarist. You could just walk up to him around town and talk to him and you were like family. RIP Dime and Vinnie Abbott.
You're a good dude. Pantera is the best overall metal band of all time. I appreciate the love.
Rock music brings everyone together. A Black friend of mine introduced me to Iron Maiden in 1980... we are going to a Maiden concert this year, with a bunch of high school buds,, as our own high school reunion.
you had me at " can i replay that?" yes sir you can over and over and over
I loved your reaction, just started following, saw them live in Winnipeg, talked to Dime during the show, loved it thx, metal brother
Haha nice, you got the headbangin' down! Welcome to my most favorite band of all time. Dime is the king.
Goosebumps showed you truly heard...and you just got a subscriber cuz that proved you truly listen👏👏👏
It's goddamn electric !
Monsters Of Rock. ACDC & Metallica headlined in Russia! Over 1,000,000 people attended. This performance put Pantera on the map. They stole the show! Carried metal into early 2000's.
LEGENDS!!
I miss Dime so much! Makes me feel good to see someone new love their music like I do. Appreciate you my brother.
Oh and "Minority Report" a Tom Cruise movie. Was about predicting murders. And arresting people before they were able to commit the crime.
That was 91 in moscow...together with ac/dc,metallica and pantera.attendance was 1.6 million
This was 1991, after the fall of communism in Russia. This was the "GODS OF ROCK TOUR"! 1.2 million at their show, but 1.5 later! This is awesome to the 10th power! Vinnie Paul on drums, Darrel(DIME BAG)Paul lead axe, Rex Brown heavy, heavy bass and Phil Anselmo barking out some of the hardest and angry vocals ever!!!!!!!
Your reaction is EPIC!! Doesnt matter if its a festival or not, look at the crowds reaction! Props to u for appreciating the music. u started semi headbanging..yeahhhh! U dont need that ibuprofen the music is in u!! Much luv
Go Bucks!! O ! H !
Just seeing you smile listening to this for the first time, made me subscribe.
Hellyeah brother i love seeing newly formed listeners actually give metal a chance. And to actually see you really get it and understand it man, i had goosebumbs with ya. You carnt hide the groove in pantera and before you know it your banging your head to the thickest chugging guitar. Its sad to have lost the brothers of destruction but pantera will never be forgotten🤘🏼🤘🏼. Great video man its awsome to see people give all sorts of music a try and not judge it till you have given it a chance. Cheers brother and give the sleep a try that solo is full goosebumps epic and just grabs you
Awesome video!!! So happy to see the appreciation you have for metal music even if it’s not your thing. Glad you were head banging along with me like a true metalhead 🤘😝🤘 WELCOME TO THE CLUB!!!
I can't do too much head banging because it gives me a headache but I'll do as much as I can
@@docrich If you DON'T get a headache, you're headbanging wrong.
This was monsters of rock in Moscow with multiple bands!
I saw pantera in Sydney back in 1994. Loved it. Was sick af.
You should listen to, broken.. Great song.
RIP dimbag and vinnie
Gave a great day mate.. From Australia 🇦🇺
Dimebags solo in the dictionary that’s what they call a facemelter. I’m sure somebody already mentioned this but the reason the crowd is so big, this was one of the very first music festivals to be put on in Russia after the fall of the Soviet Union “monsters of rock”, so what you are seeing is 500,000+ people who are not only very happy to be at a metal show but also happy to no longer be communist. You can feel the electricity of that crowd almost 30 years later....how cool.
