Can’t remember if it made it through yet). They also tried passing a law that would force teachers to out their students to the parents if the kid told them in confidence that they like the same sex. One state passed a law that would ban the teacher from teaching for 6-8 years if they didn’t out the student.

Couldn't possibly be that parents should get to choose if their child learns about mental illnesses. For instance if a school tried to teach my kids that the taliban are good people who want to spread their religion message peacefully around the world. We would have major problems .

Kids should be taught a wide range of topics and we shouldn’t be trying to ban stuff that makes the white kids feel uncomfortable when they’re taught it (which is a law Florida either passed or is trying to pass. Can’t remember if it made it through yet).
They also tried passing a law that would force teachers to out their students to the parents if the kid told them in confidence that they like the same sex. One state passed a law that would ban the teacher from teaching for 6-8 years if they didn’t out the student.
