Pretty nice for a Hobbyking kit! And thanks Bruce for bringing us a look at the low buck side of our hobby! (actually, compared to some of those turbines, it is economy)
Must say...that wasn't almost too short a video. But hey, short and sweet, right? The sound from the engine alone was wonderful. A real man's sound from twenties...
That's a super job! And I love to see some undercamber on a plane's wings! Clearly early aircraft designers were actually looking at bird's wings and realizing what works and what doesn't.
Really a great job on the video here, especially the drone work, the shot of the loop, approach, and then cutting back to a ground shot for landing. Really really good, thanks for that.
Bellissima realizzazione!!!
I'm betting that '$600' engine is vastly more reliable than the original would have been. A very nice piece of scale art. Thanks for bringing make it available to us all Bruce.
I must say Bruce, your RC Videography is great. I hate watching RC videos where you only see the plane during takeoff and landing and the rest is watching a dot in the sky. I turn those off.
Not bad for the last weekend of Autumn down in this part of the world. Raining and cold today though... but I'm warm and dry inside so not complaining :-)
I am currently building a 1/4 scale highly detailed plane exact same one as in video maybe a few inches smaller not sure what his scale is. Mine is highly detailed lots of scratch built pieces like dash gauges interior cockpit details pilot wires all the plumbing and lines eben if that don't do anything for plane to fly it's in there to keep it true to scale I am gonna paint it then weather it. It's a Fokker eindecker as well. I'm about 3/4 way done with it and I'm 30 so it's time in my RC flying career to build a few of my Dream 1/4-1/2 scale rc planes I also got a edge 540 acrobatic airshow plane that's about 1/4 way done and a skip Stewart prometheous 50percent. It's gonna be so highly detailed with every little thing in it exactly how the real one has it inside that plane. I have 5k pictures I took of skip Stewart's plane in person and using those to add every exact detail so in pics of my rc plane by it's self you won't be able to tell of it's real or a rc
What a lovely model, and the sound was just perfect. Certainly a joy to watch her flying.
Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. The addition of Wagner was Fokking perfect.
I like what you did there.
Wunderbar!
That chase footage was awesome!! Loved the black and white, looks so damn legit
Pretty nice for a Hobbyking kit!
And thanks Bruce for bringing us a look at the low buck side of our hobby!

I was thinking it was a very nice looking foamie.
What a great machine! Thanks Bruce and the anonymous pilot/builder
Sounds so good too !
Must say...that wasn't almost too short a video. But hey, short and sweet, right?

Beautiful work...on both the model, and the videography!
Two thumbs up on the plane, on the flight and on the video.
Thanks Bruce

Hi Bruce Another great video Beautiful Airplane. Thanks again for the show.
Wow!! What an impressive airplane. I love all the angles of it flying. Good job Bruce.
What a way to spend the day.perfect..
_Man, the quality of this vid is 100%,_ *Most Excellent* 👍
Truly amazing model, Bruce! 😃
It flies fantastically!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Outstanding aerial video work, Bruce. Thank you.
At 2:38 I thought “OMG he’s gone into a tip stall!” But (wipes my brow) it was only the camera work. Good job on the camera BTW.
That was awesome! Wife Dollars - What she doesn't know won't hurt me... I live (and will probably die) by the same philosophy :)
Love the old looking planes great video and nice end
Such a cheap budget model aircraft. Flies beautifully and the chase footage at the end was amazing Bruce!
That sound….. love it 👍
Awesome video thanks Bruce. Totally enjoyed it!
Lovely,thnx 4 ur efforts Bruce...
Not really a fan of the usual chit chat videos but your rc reviews and this is excellent!
Fantastic video, and the aerial stuff amazing!
Really a great job on the video here, especially the drone work, the shot of the loop, approach, and then cutting back to a ground shot for landing. Really really good, thanks for that.
Wrote that before I even saw the Valkyrie black and white, which was also excellent. Certainly does justice to a pretty fabulous model.
fabulous, I love the drone 'chase plane ' views.
What a beautiful budget plane. 😂
Great composition of the film. 👍
How beautiful is this video. Brilliant stuff
Great video, great flying, a pleasure to watch Bruce.
Very scale. Looks very satisfying to fly :) Keep up the good work, Bruce. Look forward to your content :)
Very nice model.
The B&W chase cam was neat, like any gun camera footage , without bits falling off of course.
That was AWESOME!
Wow! Amazing... Superb.. Awesome aircraft...
It's like a giant stik. Flew like a dream. The chase video was great!
Cheaper than my bixler.... Can I order two please!
Beautiful model!
Great video and awesome flying machine
Very nice everything of it all .
Too cool! Great footage Xjet. Totally sweet plane. ☺

Grazie! Non conoscevo questa spiegazione del cognome "Immelmann".
For an old, fat blind man Bruce that was some damned good chase footage from ya!
great job on the videography!
Beautiful made and flown
great video!!

That was $120. I'm guessing USD not NZD but I don't know.
1:43 mmmmmmmmm. Love the valach twin cly boxer sound.
Isn't he required to yell "Contact!" before he turns over the prop? With all the work he put into that, he better not - ever - crash it!
Beautiful plane beautiful flight. But man I'd be so upset if that thing hit the ground the wrong way.
Well done Bruce. But where was the cockpit view and machine gun bullets?
I can't listen to the "Flight of the Valkyries" without hearing Elmer Fudd sing, "Kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit" in that cartoon opera. :D
Between that and the helicopters...
"What's Opera, Doc?" My favorite of the old Warner Brothers Cartoons.
Well, actually it is called "Ride of the Valkyries", but in this particular case you may get away with it... ;-)
Would be interesting to know the wingspan length, weight and engine size. A beautiful plane. Is the wing warping functional?
Beautiful plane! What setup do you use for the aerial video?
GEPRC Mark 5 quad and Runcam 5.
What a cracking aircraft, love the engine and it's sound, amazing how reasonable the price of it is, just a few parts from banggood was it😁
That engine sounds great!
Nice especially you drone video,,,
What a orsum scale, very cool 👍🏻
Did he use wing warping for roll control like the prototype?
I must say Bruce, your RC Videography is great. I hate watching RC videos where you only see the plane during takeoff and landing and the rest is watching a dot in the sky. I turn those off.
Beautiful plane and sun
Not bad for the last weekend of Autumn down in this part of the world. Raining and cold today though... but I'm warm and dry inside so not complaining :-)
Fantastic model, and great filming.
Am curious if it's hangered at the field, or transported in a special trailer. (how kept hidden from wifey)
I built a quarter scale Eindecker many years ago.
Theres a video called Rick doing wingovers
Excellent!
awsome.wow! i would love to ride in one full scale.larry
Great footage Mr X, you have been practicing! Two AttaBoys sent.
Great model, would've been nice to see hime execute an 'Immelman Turn' maneuver.
All through that flight all I could think of is an fpv head tracking unit in the pilot's head 🤔😜🤗
Same here. This gorgeous plane needs it. Imagine the flying experience.
Even on a budget there is fun to be had.
Does this one have warping wings...
Great video
What is the conversion rate to $US?
This is a very nice plane sounds like a powerhouse
That Fokker looked really realistic flying over the Somme, sorry, the MotorX circuit!
New favourite rc
Is that Snoopy on it's tail during the flight?
What engine was n the model? sounds great
Valach twin cylinder boxer style engine they look great to
What engine is in that.
Mazda RX7 rotary :)
@@xjet Bruce it's not revving hard anuff lol
Got a soft limiter :-)
LOL. I was wondering the same thing. Little small for a mazda, but maybe a Sachs? Actually does sound a bit like a rotary.
0:01 it’s a valach twin cyl
Nice mate.
choose your wife carefully..... nice production!
Epic
Nice video. What was the chase plane?
It was a GEPRC Mark 5 quadcopter.
Makes me miss the tower 😢
Wow!......
hobbyking kit? When?

Why do you think anyone else is interested ?
The advantage of RC is that flying such planes doesn't give you the runs.
At what scale does a model stop being a model? 1:1
Canal or Pup on the way?
I thought he may have been concerned that his wife would see he’d taken her sunglasses.
What a beauty! I can feel the wind on my face and going through my hair! 👏👏👏🍻 I will give you $850, $200 more than you paid for it. 😳😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
ONE DOLLAR! 😱😁🙃🤪🤣👍✌
What happened to the pulse jet you were going to show us???????????????????????????
Epic.
Cost more than the original
New sub ! Liked ❤️😂🌞
No ailerons that I saw. Does he use wing worping? Auto spell check not helping…
make it from corrugated weather protected card board

I thought that you was going to say like a million dollars
Don't play the card game 'Poker' with this 'straight faced' pilot. (Not Bruce, the other pilot). 🃏
I love the smell of castor oil in the morning ✨
Those are the numbers he told his wife LOL It cost a whole lot more
Now to find monkey with a hankerin' to fly.
