Two quick questions. 1 in what scenario would you actually regrind a cam? 2 What about the lost lift? Is it not enough to worry about or do you make it back up with a higher ratio rocker?Thanks as always for sharing.
#1 a good camshaft with mild damage is worth repairing #2 we don't lose Lift, we put them back to the same spec.
@@PowellCams How do you grind off material without reducing lift? Not being a smart ellic just can't see it in my mind's eye.

How is lifter bank angle set when grinding a cam? Or is thay something that's set when you order a core? I can't find much info out there about it
Through the index plate on tje grinder

Email is best, but we are not doing any ohc stuff right now
What would happen if you actually used that cam in an engine?Would it run? Or just run like crap?
